Amy Poford vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Lover's Spat

The crowd shied away from Amy's impact, and Army did too, even though he was the one who caused it in the first place. She hadn't even been able to make her back take it - a nasty hit, it looked like. She was standing, bless her, but she was wide open, so much that she practically begged to be finished off. Army was tempted to grab her from behind and hit her with a German Suplex, but that probably wouldn't go any better than the belly-to-belly did. Nope, it was time to start bringing this to a close, and that meant coming hard and heavy.

Safety was important, so he moved over and grabbed Amy's shoulder's flipping her around so her back was laing on the turnbuckle. He gave her a little wink, and from there Army made his way to the center of the ring, taking aim as the crowd started to light up, getting pumped for what they knew was coming. He crouched, took a breath to ready himself, and then he dashed forward towards her with all the speed he could build, coming at her like a freight train, and aiming a massive body avalanche right at her.

Amy groaned as Army turned her around; she couldn’t make any movement right now without her body reminding her of how sore everything was. Amy slumped against the ringpost, prepared for the worst, but Army just winked and backed up. Amy couldn't believe her luck.

Army crouched down like a track runner in the center of the ring. Amy felt the buzz of the crowd ramp up, so she knew he must be preparing something big. She stayed in place, keeping her appearance innocuous, but her muscles began to tense. She was still fairly beat up; she would only have one shot at this.

Army shot forward like a bullet from a gun, surprising Amy with his explosiveness. But she was ready. Just before it was too late, Amy sprang to life, rolling away along the ropes from what surely would have been a match-ending collision.

People always assumed that, because Army was so big, that automatically made him slow. He wasn't as fast as Carmen, sure, and he wasn't the quickest guy on the Tension roster by a mile, but that didn't mean he plodded along, either. He could cover a good distance in a hurry when he needed to, and that was what people saw when he bolted across the ring.

Of course, with great momentum came great impact, even if the target wasn't there anymore. She'd looked vulnerable, but then again, Amy had a special talent for looking things she really wasn't, didn't she?

Yeah. He should have seen it coming.

Unfortunately,  he didn't have enough power to stop on a dime, so when she rolled out of the way he crashed hard into the turnbuckle, chest fire, and the blow sent shocks throughout his chest. Army fell flat on his back, and now it was his turn to roll around the canvas in pain.

Amy knew that the smart move here would be to play it safe; to back off, let her body recover for a bit, get her pain back down to less than incapacitating levels. But it was always a thrill to make Army go down on his back like that, even if she played no direct role in making it happen. And the dodge itself had gotten her adrenaline pumping again, making her feel amped. It was enough to make her forget that she was hurting, at least for a little bit. It was enough to make her take a moment to double over and laugh. Ow.

Amy approached the center of the ring so that she was standing just above where Army's head was. She grabbed his arms and used them to pull him to a sitting position. Then she sat down herself, intending to slink her legs around and squeeze his tender sides, all while keeping his arms locked behind him the best she could. "Dude," she'd begin, her smile coming through in her voice, as she started to squeeze and pull. "You had me."

Falling like that hurt like the fucking devil, but hearing Amy laugh almost made up for it. Not quite worth the pain, but close.

For a moment, Army thought she might be giving him a little reprieve, backing off to let her recoup and recover, but to his dismay, Amy turned out to not be a total idiot. He wasn't surprised when her shadow came over him like some tiny angel of death, and he really wasn't surprised when she lifted him up and put the scissors around him, crushing his ribs and bringing back the pain from the beginning of the match. It never stopped amazing him that she could pack so much raw power into those soft thighs of hera, but, somehow, she'd turned them into twin pain machines.

"Yeah, I did." He groaned as the pressure bore down on him and even made laughing a torturous experience. With the bad position she had his arms in, there wasn't much he could do but roll from side to side and try to shake her lose. Not a very promising effort. "Maybe, say, let me go, go back on the turnbuckle, let me try again? Huh?"

Amy laughed again. Seriously, though, ow. Sex was going to be interesting when every little inhale lit up her chest in the way that it did. “Oh, Army. If I just let you go, you wouldn't learn anything." If they were alone, Amy might have tried to kiss Army here. But they weren’t, so she held her breath and squeezed a little tighter with her legs, instead, yanking back on his arms for good measure. Then she exhaled. “So? I seem to recall you bragging about how you would have escaped these scissors. How's it going so far?”

That was a good question, actually. There were a few ways Army could have thought to escape Amy's vice grip, but unfortunately, most of them involved using his hands. His hands, which were attached to his arms, which Amy had secured quite well. Shit.

That left Army with precious few options, but at least he had one way to escape that he wouldn't have enjoyed in an unofficial match - the ropes. He took a moment to let out a long groan and grit his teeth as she gave him an extra sqeeuze, then he started to slid them both around with his legs, pulling them closer and closer to the edge of the ring. "Going pretty good. Pretty...good." He closed his eyes and tried to focus away the pain, putting his effort into the haul.

Amy felt herself moving along the mat, and she tensed up, preparing to release Army and escape whatever counter he was queueing up. But soon it became clear what Army's aim was, and Amy didn't know what she could do to stop it. "Oh, bullshit! There weren't any ropes at the stadium!" But, now that she knew that her submission hold had a limited shelf life, there was no longer any reason to ration her energy. Amy gathered her breath and squeezed with all her might, lifting her hips to really wrench out that extra bit pressure. "Ugh!" she cried out with exertion.

Army snickered as best as he could with a lung that was being brutally compressed, shaking his head at Amy. "There weren't any turnbuckles, either. Don't hear me complainig."

She was ramping up the pain and making him struggle for every foot he gained, but fortunately he was a big guy. Being big meant he didn't have to go as far as most to get where he neeced to go. Like with the ropes - he got to them before Amy could cut him in half and put his ankle square on top of the botttom on, trying to get it right on top for the referee to see.

Amy shuddered inwardly. The turnbuckles were punishing, but they did save her from being whipped into the much crueler steel of the ringpost itself. "Well... okay. Fair point."

Once his foot was up on the rope, the short-haired ref stood over Amy and motioned for her to break her hold. Amy complied, albeit reluctantly. She released her grip on Army's arms, first, then she unlocked her ankles and disengaged her legs from Army's body. She used the momentary lull in action to affectionately muss up Army's hair again. Then she took to her feet and stepped back...

But not too far back; Amy would wait until Army stood up and faced her before throwing a hard roundhouse kick aimed at Army's side.
