Amy Poford vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Lover's Spat

Army was getting some serious mixed signals. The crowd seemed to be confused, too, but they didn't have the strange context to deal with, here.

He remembered distinctly that they'd agreed on trying to avoid any and all sexual shenanigans for this match. Amy was by no definition a prude, but she seemed to be a lot more hesitant about public intimacy than Army was - he didn't seek out those kinds of matches, but he didn't avoid them, either. They were keeping things on the level.

Then again, that was before he'd given her the female equivalent of blue balls, so he wasn't sure how much previous terms applied. The way she moved in past his arms and rubbed against his body, the subtle shudder of her hot breath, her teasing fingers along his face...he closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment. Couldn't help it. There was a tiny voice warning him that this could be a trap, but he didn't pay it much attention.

He should have. He really should have.

The crowd and Army's chin exploded as she landed the stunner, dropping him hard right into her shoulder with an impact that rocked his entire skull. Army flopped on his back and found himself dazed, as his eyes shut tight and a terrible headache set in. It felt like he'd taken a knock in the head from a sledgehammer. A sexy, dangerous sledgehammer.

Amy and Army had talked enough for Amy to know that Army wasn't stupid. Actually, he was sharp, he was witty. He could provide a straightforward perspective on things that Amy would completely miss, but in a way that would force Amy to agree that his insight simply made sense.

Then he'd go and let somebody pull off a move like this, and she'd wonder.

Amy turned around on her knees, her shoulder burning. Stunners usually didn't have that effect, but her body seemed intent on remembering, making every sort of physical contact linger. Amy rolled her eyes. Oh, now this is gonna be a thing. But otherwise she didn't waste any time. She crawled over to where Army lay dazed, moving off to his side. She'd place one hand on his chest and the other on his belly, raise her leg up high, then start throwing knees into his side. But first things first- she'd reach over and mess up Army's hair. Because fuck him, that's why.

That could have been worse for Army. It helped that he was dealing with a relatively small blond girl and not a big bald, beer-guzzling texan. It was the first move of the match, too, so he still had plenty of stamina to spare and wouldn't fall to a three-count, even if she was crazy enough to try. But, all the same, that move hurt. Hurt so much that it left him wide open. Sure enough, Amy wasn't letting that opportunity go to waste.

After taking the time to muss up his hair, she started busting out the MMA moves on him, drilling knee after tiny knee into his aching ribs. He took it three times before he managed to get enough sense back to roll onto his chest and start rising up, grabbing the middle rope for support as he ascended.

That was it, that was the way. Getting on two good feet was the key to winning this match. Amy was a slippery thing and she wouldn't make it easy for him, but it was a must. He did his best work standing.

One knee. Two knees. Three knees. Oh yeah. At the very least, Army'd walk away from this fight with some healthy-looking bruises on his flank. Four kn...

But by this time, Army had rolled away. Amy fell off balance, her hands slipping from their perch on his body and her dynamic knee pushing her the rest of the way over; she barely managed to avoid faceplanting into the mat by catching herself with her forearms. Clumsy.

Amy scrambled to her feet just in time to see Army regain his own. Where she might have normally skipped agilely backwards, she took several cautious steps back towards the center of the ring; she just wasn't at the top of her game, tonight. But she started to bounce all the same, her guard in their familiar position about her head, and a big fat grin on her face.

It always amazed Army when he saw just how good Amy was, especially for a girl who didn't have all that much formal training under her belt. It was freaky, really, and Carmen had pushed him a few times to try and get her to come in for a few lessons. He didn't think she'd go for it if he even bothered to ask, really, but it was a crazy thought. With the right tweaking, Amy could be a little localized force of nature.

He'd be feeling those knees for the rest of the match, but she'd have to get him down again to work them some more, and Army wasn't planning on giving her the chance. He popped back up and started to bounce on his heels, smirking to match the smile on her own face. "First one's free, but the rest'll cost you." He licked his lips and tried his best to ignore the aching pains in his chest.

Army charged towards her with all the speed he could muster, closing the distanec with a few big, bold steps. Instead of coming at her with a punch, he opened his guard, brought his arm out, and came at her with a classic clothesline - he was trying to bring his style a little more over to the wrestling side, these days, get a little more tradition into it.

Army came at her with an arm stretched out, slightly crouched so that the arm, if it hit- when it hit- would take her down at her chest instead of at the neck. Maybe he was being considerate and trying not to take her head off. Or maybe it was because he knew that she’d duck under it if given half the opportunity. See? Clever.

He put in a little extra oomph in his charge, but Amy didn’t know why he’d bothered. Maybe if she wasn't so goddamned turned on, she might have been a little more mobile, her eyes a little sharper. The way she was feeling now, though, she didn’t know if she could even dodge his punches, never mind a clothesline. Army had never really tagged her in her face standing before; tonight, maybe she’d finally find out if she could take one and stay standing.

"Oomph!" The hit stung, and then the hit stung extra, and it easily broke through her guard and brought her back first down to the mat. Yup, it was going to be a fun night. Amy burst into laughter from down on the mat while she tried to pull herself up to a sitting position before attempting to return to her feet, working through the heavy ache suddenly exploding in her upper chest and shoulders. "Is this even gonna be fun for you? I can barely see straight right now."

Amy was laughing.

Army's clothesline connected and the audience winced as she went, smacking hard on the canvas with a thud that resonated all the way up the stands. Anyone else would have been howling in pain, or at least groaning a bit. While he didn't doubt that the move had hurt her, that just wasn't the way she responded to things. Sometimes, he had to wonder what planet this girl came from. And how he coud get there, someday.

Because Army was a gentleman, he moved in and helped her up, pulling her back to her feet with a hand under her arm. She was a light thing, and he could have easily hurled her across the ring, but he wasn't about to go that crazy. Not just yet. "Yeah, you saw well enough to drop me with a Stone Cold Stunner. Not completely buying it."

He brought pushed her head down and tried to pull her under his arm, lock in a tight headlock and squeeze away on her. Even with her head being all in a daze, Amy still had boundless energy to work with, and if he wanted to make any gains he'd have to start sapping away at it."Besides you're having fun, right? Good enough for me."

Amy let Army pull her up, but tried to tug away as soon as she got to her feet. But Army's on her arm was sure, and he was able to jerk her in under his arm, pulling Amy off balance, and soon Amy's brains were threatening to squeeze out her ears like toothpaste through a tube. Amy grit her teeth- how else could you defensively flex your head?- but what he said next made her feel all warm inside. Aww, that was really sweet. She was having fun, and was happy that Army cared that she was. Army was the fucking best.

Mushiness notwithstanding, her skull was threatening to cave in, and Amy wouldn't have even known where to begin to tell you how much she wanted for that not to happen. Amy drew a hand across Army's abs, appreciating them for a moment, before reaching back, balling it into a fist, then drilling it in. The positioning was awkward, and the target was tough, but Amy couldn't just do nothing. While things may have been "good enough for him," Amy knew that Army liked girls with a bit of fight in them, and there was no reason that they couldn't both be having a good time.

To Amy's credit, she was putting up a serious struggle - giving Army way more of a hassle than you would think a girl like her could give a guy like him - but the headlock was solid enough that it wasn't a problem. He had her locked and in control. With Amy, that probably wouldn't last, but he could enjoy the moment.

"Oh, you like that?" He stepped back a bit and pulled her along with him as she ran her hands over his stomach, giving him a gentle caress despite the rough treatment. It felt so good that Army was sorely tempted not to hit her with the powerslam he was setting up for. He was still going to, of course, but it warranted serious consideration.

What did stop him was her punch. Her blows hurt like crazy on a normal day, but that one hit him right at the top of his abs and struck a spot that was still tender from the knees she'd delivered earlier. It caused the pain to come roaring right back in full force. Army bit back a yell and reflexively tossed her towards the corner while he staggered away, nursing the spot.

Amy's feet left the ground- not much, but enough that she wasn't going to be able to change directions by her own power. The momentum of his toss made her turn 180 degrees in the air, and she slammed back first into the turnbuckle. "Oof!" A turnbuckle punched unpleasantly into her spine, and, for a moment, Amy lost all sense of direction. Army's throw had come on reflex, no more deliberate than a jerk of the knee or a shudder from a tongue placed in exactly the right spot behind an ear. That he could toss her so bodily, so easily on accident was a stark reminder of their almost comical weight difference; comical because, if Army wanted to, he could conceivably incapacitate her by taking a seat on her back, and she wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it. That's why she needed to keep mobile, and why her current state of mind was so dangerous for her. Even now- she knew instinctively that the corner was the absolute last place that she wanted to be, but she couldn't stop thinking that, if she'd just turned her head to the side a bit, she could have left a hickey on this abdomen; another bruise to mark his progress toward unconsciousness.

Army wasn't going to be gentle forever, though, so Amy stood up shakily and stepped away from the corner. Come on, girl, wake up!
