Haruka Date vs. Yuki Kanno

The air was coming in freely now, but that was not to suggest that there was some sort of reprieve from the action. Haruka was hefted up and chucked into the ring. A few rolls later, she came to a stop. Dazed, confused, in a little bit of pain, but able to keep going. Every gulp of air felt as liberating as it ways painful. The Silent Phoenix erected herself and glared down at Yuki.

She felt like she could do it. Unleash a barrage of her kicks. Find her zone. Win. A quick breath out was enough to steady her aching legs. The first step came hard and the second one came easier. And then the next and then the next. Soon a fist was flying at Yuk through the air and it was coming in fast.

Despite every attempt Yuki has tried to subdue and weaken Haruka, each one felt like she was trying to calm a raging bull. It could not be done whatsoever. The woman just struggled and persevered through everything even after all the Crimson Daze has done to her. But there has got to be some way to put her down, there just has to.

This was all that was on Yuki's mind as she threw Haruka back into the ring and while climbing back up herself, trying to come up with a tactic to press on the advantage. But it seems as she didn't realize just how quickly her opponent has recovered. With her back turned to Haruka as she entered the ring, Yuki sees a fist rushing right at her then boom! "Gah!" The fist collided with her face head on causing the young rookie to stagger back into the ropes, leaning on them as Yuki clutching her face while one hand grasps on the top rope.

This was her chance. Despite her aching legs, despite the fact that she had been in a hold for so excruciatingly long, she could still get right back in this. Her fist connected with a mighty crack! that reverberated around the arena. A lesser trained girl might have flapped her hand around in pain as it was a mighty shot. The Silent Phoenix could not afford such a luxury.

Her opponent was staggered but not yet dropped. Haruka thought she had just the right way to change that. She had just enough space to do a somersault, and bring her hands around full circle in a powerful axe handle smash. The move was as dangerous as it was beautiful- the somersault took some time, but the fruit it would bear might be unstoppable. The crowd and Haruka held their breath as the Silent Phoenix sought for paydirt.

Everything has gone completed wrong and out of Yuki's hands, further proved by how hard that punch was and how much it hurt. If it weren't for the ropes and her endurance thanks to her training, she would have been knock down AND out. Her whole face hurt and she couldn't focus or redirect her attention back to Haruka. Yuki was in trouble and she knew something was coming quickly even without looking at the woman.

She ultimately wasn't able to try and move to the side, as she couldn't move her legs in time. As she feels her head being smashed down just as hard as the punch, it felt as if she was hit by a sledge hammer. Yuki cried out in pain as she dropped down off her feet and onto her knees, one hand still on her face while the other supports her and attempts to crawl away.

Whew. It had been arduous to make her pained body move, but she moved it. It was scary to be so exposed during her smash, but she got it in. And now Yuki was reeling from the titanic blow and Haruka knew she had to press her advantage. She could get a swift kick into her face...but no. That was dishonorable. To attack one thing over and over was not her way.

So Haruka did something she loved doing. She dashed towards Yuki and made an attempt to seize the girl, pick her up, and whip her into the ropes across the ring. Her heart stopped as she launched into the motion. And when and if her opponent came bounding back the real fun would begin.

On top of her head having the most brutal headache right now, Yuki was also down on her knees and was actually getting a bit scared. Just from those hits she can tell that Haruka is gonna be beating her up hard, and all she can think of right now is to get away. At least until Yuki can recover a bit so she can rely on counters to stop those punches and kicks and follow them up with submissions or slams.

Yuki kept crawling away, but unfortunately she cannot move fast enough with just one hand and was soon grabbed then forced onto her feet by Haruka. "A-ah...!" The sudden and forced movement made the aching pain in Yuki's head hurt more, hopefully it's not a concussion. Then without warning she is throw across the ring in the Irish Whip, running towards the ropes and then rebounds back towards Haruka with a panicked look on her face. If it weren't for the momentum from the maneuver, Yuki would have just fallen back down again.

Haruka dug her foot in to the mat. She was a tiger ready to strike its prey and Yuki was a pheasant in the jungle. Her eyes were narrowed with focus and droplets of sweat beaded on her body. Her heart pounded. The Silent Phoneix felt all her momentum building and wanted to unleash it all right here, right now.

All the muscles in her legs ached from being coiled up. Haruka waited for the perfect moment and launched backwards, hoping to catch Yuki with a brutal flash kick. She half wondered if it would out her out for the night and then closed her eyes. It was best not to jinx herself like that.

Even if she wanted to, Yuki couldn't stop herself from running. She was now going towards her doom and all she can do right now is take it. Her eyes shut tightly as Yuki tried to brace herself for the upcoming blow, but even that won't help her in this situation as.... BOOM! "Gah...!" Haruka launched the sole of her feet directly at Yuki's face, shooting her head back and sending her off of her feet and spun around to land on her front.

Yuki laid sprawled flat on the mat, her body twitching in pain but barely remained conscious. Even she was surprised she is still awake, the pain in her face and her bleeding nose might be what's keeping her in the realm of the living and not sending her to dreamland to see Kirby.

But even if she was conscious it wouldn't matter, she was majorly hurt and cannot continue unless she got some distance and rest. Despite her pain, Yuki will try again to crawl away from her opponent. If she could just play keep away for at least a little bit, the Crimson Daze can play on the defensive for at least a little while, but Haruka is very likely to not let her have this chance at all.

The clunk of her foot against Yuki's skull did her good. It obviously didn't do her foot good as a tingle of electricity shot up her leg and rattled her core. But it sent the rookie crashing down to the mat and even had her twitching a little bit. Haruka felt bad for her, truthfully she did. Those kind of twitches were not a good sign and Haruka knew she had to put this match away quickly.

She walked over to the downed Yuki and tried to pick her up and get her on her feet. What was it that she was feeling? Not sorry, surely, she would never insult a woman in the ring by feeling sorry for them. Mercy was also out of the question- that would also be stooping too low, to have to ensure some clemency for her opponent. The feeling that permeated her every thought was a loud disquiet, something that told her something was right.

The Silent Phoenix tried to straighten out her feelings by launching a flurry of punches at the potentially erect Yuki- from there she could launch a massive kick, with her finisher, Phoenix Rising!

Yuki was afraid, she was panicking very badly and her twitching, bloody nose, and slow crawling wasn't helping at all. She knew the end was coming and she just wanted it all to stop right now, but it won't until Haruka is done with her or if Yuki can say she gives up. That is all she wanted, but from the way things are going this will only end the hard way for the poor girl who earned the sympathy of the crowd.

Her heartbeat went up a lot faster once she felt herself being grabbed and forced back onto her feet by Haruka. "N-no...!" The look of fear in Yuki's expression is multiplied and can easily been seen especially in her eyes, and she quickly brings a hand up to cover her bloody nose.

As the frightened Crimson Daze stared at her opponent in the eye, she dreaded and waited for it to happen. She was then smacked by numerous punches and then felt her chin taking a hard kick, making Yuki cough up some blood and widens her eyes. The force from the kick sending Yuki into the air to come right back down onto her back. Yuki's body was still twitching and her eyes were open but they were blank, easily indicating she was unconscious and her nose dripping more blood without anything to stop it making a small puddle by Yuki's face.
