Odessa Brock vs. River Styx - #1 Contender Match for the Hardcore Championship

Styx would have to give credit where credit was due - Yummy Mart made some durable bras. The one Odessa was using had remarkable durability, refusing to snap no matter how much Styx pulled at or how much it was stretched against her neck. Not something that she'd be caught dead wearing, but she had to admire the quality.

Funny little thought. Probably had something to do with the oxygen depravation.

The door gave way and, much to Styx's dismay, they didn't wind up tripping over the referee in the process. Just as well - Styx would need her conscious and in working order if she wanted to win this. Though, the longer this dragged on, the more that was in doubt.

They were in a confined space, and that would work to Styx's advantage. Less room to manuever would force Odessa to stand her ground and take the blows, perfect way to end the brawl. The only trouble was that she had to get loose to enjoy it, and that proving difficult. Styx thrashed, she bucked, she squirmed, she kicked, she fought with everything she had to fight with, but the grip on her was iron clad. The kicks to her ankles only made it worse, as Styx struggled to stay standing. Odessa was not letting go and her assault was not letting up. At least not without the proper incentive.

Styx kept one of her hands grasping at the bra, fighting for every sliver of air she could get, but the other worked her into the pocket and fished around for an item she grabbed earlier - the stapler. Relying on an office tool wasn't going to be a highlight of her life, but this was a desperate time that called for a desperate measure. She flipped the base open and brought it down on Odessa's bare thigh, cutting into her pleasing flesh with bite after bite, wildly stapling away at it. Not heavy damage, but it would put Odessa's pain tolerance to the test.

Odessa thought that she was in a very good position. It was a confined space, but she had Styx caught with the bra. She was neutralizing Styx's advantage and maximizing her own. She almost had her foe asphyxiated. The referee being right at their feet was a nuisance—and, truth be told, Odessa felt bad for the official, who looked almost terrified to be in the middle of this brawl, and who had already been inadvertently stomped several times by both fighters—but Odessa could handle her being there. She planted her feet and just pulled. Styx had only one truly free hand. Her resistance should fade.

Odessa was never expecting the stapler. She was never expecting the stapler. Not at all. Plunging little metal hooks into an opponent's skin was a low that Odessa could never imagining anyone stooping to. But Styx did it, and with the very first staple digging into the flesh of her thigh, Odessa started screaming.

It wasn't the worst pain of her life, but it was close. Every second there was another sharp jab of pain as another staple dug into her flesh. They were cutting deeper than punches or scratches. The damage wasn't permanent, but it would be a process to get them out. Odessa was dumbfounded as to how Styx could live with herself doing this to an opponent.

Odessa started stumbling, and once again trampled the referee. This time, her feet got tangled up on the official, and the ebony beauty would lose her balance. She would let go of the bra and go tumbling down on top of the referee, squashing her. Odessa hoped that her flailing arms would bring Styx down with her, but even if they did, she knew that she was in a terrible position. And, worst of all, her leg was now filled with a half dozen little pieces of metal.

Styx's body was pockmarked with dozens and dozens of little cuts and scars, souveniers from almost a decade of getting into every fight at every conceivable opportunity. She could track most of them and form a little timeline, tell a story and remember the good fights. They all came with their own unique flavor of pain, and she'd sampled them all.

She'd never been stapled before, but she had taken a few thumbtacks in her stomach, so she had a fair idea of what Odessa was going through. It was funny, really. Styx could have bashed away at her all day, worked her over from head to toe with every blunt instrument she could hold in two hands, and she would've never gotten the scream she received from simple sticking two little pieces of metal into Odessa's skin. That was a different sort of pain. Deeper. Meaner. Bloodier.

Styx would give credit where credit was due, and admit that she endured the tiny little pinpricks for far longer than she expect, but there was no way she would last. Odessa had to know that she'd have no trouble unloading the entire cartridge into her leg and scarring her for life, if that's what it came down to. She went stumbling back, and the two of them wound up tripping over her and tumbling to the floor in a tattered mess of squirming limbs.

Styx could breath again, and she started taking in deep gulps of air once more, but she knew there couldn't be any time to recoup. She had good stamina, better than most, but this match was starting to wear on her. Between the blood loss, the possible concussion in the back of her head and her aching neck, there were too many things Odessa could exploit. The sooner this ended, the better.

She tossed the stapler away and squirmed around on top of Odessa, awkwardly moving in the limited space of the stall, and reached out for the black beauty's shimmering head of hair. Styx tried to grab a handful of the white strands in each hand, wanting a good grip so she could lift Odessa's head up and slam the back of her skull into the floor.

Odessa was used to blunt force trauma. She had taken all sorts of abuse of a blunt nature, to her breasts, her belly, her legs, and her face. All of that she could handle. But there was something different about piercing, tearing, stabbing pain. It dug deep inside of her, and it felt like even the smallest stab wound would ruin her beautiful body. Not just in appearance—Odessa was not so vain that she couldn't deal with a little scar on her thigh. But it could rip apart a tendon, or burst a blood vessel. She might be hobbled for life by that sort of injury.

That thought terrified Odessa. It shook her to her core, like very little else did. She squirmed and thrashed almost wildly as she came down on top of the referee, and Styx came down on top of her. Odessa was still hissing and groaning in pain. The referee below them was crying out, too, probably because well over three hundred pounds of brawling wrestler was smashing her down into the floor.

Odessa partially turned over. To her relief, a couple of the staples fell out of her leg. It seemed that the metal clips were not going to be stuck in her leg. That didn't mean they'd caused any less damage while going in, though.

Before Odessa could do anything, Styx grabbed her hair again. Odessa winced, thinking she might be in for another ripping hairpulling. This time, however, Styx would just use the hold on Odessa's hair as a tool, to slam the ebony beauty's head back down on the floor. All of a sudden, Odessa's skull was vibrating, and her head was ringing. She clenched her teeth in pain. She would immediately throw her fists upwards, swinging them almost blindly as she could only glare up through narrowed eyes, hoping to batter Styx's face with some hard hooks. With any luck, that would force the bald woman to change tactics.

The sound of a skull slamming against the floor was unmistakeable - always made the brain sound more hollow that it really was, looking you wear trying to crack a cocunut clean in half. It was a pretty common experience for Styx, something she'd done many time over the years, but she had to admire that Odessa's bone were some of the hardest she'd ever smashed. It would take some extra effort, but she was reasonably sure that she could get a crack if she worked it just a little bit more. At least make a head wound and pay the bitch back for the crimson stream running down her shoulders.

She pulled Odessa's head up, gripped tight, and prepared to thrust it back into the unforgiving floor, but one of her wild punches ended that. It was a forceful hook that numbed Styx jaw and sent her head roling to the side. "Cunt-" And then another struck her clean on the right eye, ensuring that she'd have a black eye for the next few days. Which Styx didn't mind the least, but if she was going to get one, she didn't want it from a btich in a leotrad.

...which,  now that she thought about it, gave her an idea.

Instead of staying there and trying to pin Odessa - and the referee beneath them, Styx lurched up and started to stand, taking another blow to the face in the process. That one made her stumble forward, nearly lose her balance, but it wasn't enough to stop her hands from doing their job. They grabbed hold of the straps on Odessa's leotard and yanked her up as Styx began to rise, only for her to suddenly jerk down about halfway to try and slam their skulls together for a headbutt. Best case scenario, the move worked with out a hitch and Styx scored a vicious blow, worse case scenario she ripped the straps up and Odessa had to go topless for the rest of the match. Win/win.

Odessa's head was still throbbing. Her eyes were bleary with tears caused by pure pain, and her vision was spinning, making it difficult to aim her punches at Styx. She was lucky that having her skull slammed into the floor hadn't caused more damage. As it was, she might have a mild concussion, but she should make a full recovery. That wouldn't be true if Styx had anything to say about it. The woman seemed deadset on causing Odessa permanent injury.

Odessa still could not imagine feeling that sort of primitive bloodlust. It almost made her feel out of her depth, fighting in a hardcore match against someone who had fewer inhibitions than a wild animal.

But she would persevere. Odessa did not feel defeated. Not by any means.

The Briton's wild punches managed to find their mark. Muscle memory was a beauty, and it allowed Odessa's strikes to find their mark, nailing Styx in the jaw, then right in the eye socket, throwing Styx off of her. The brute started to get up, and Odessa nailed her again. The ebony beauty started to become a little more confident now that she had landed so many consecutive blows. She would try to push herself up off of the poor referee...

Styx decided to help her up. She grabbed the straps of Odessa's leotard and pulled Odessa upwards for a vicious headbutt. For the first time, Odessa regretted the high quality that she demanded from her costumes. A lesser leotard might have ripped. Hers didn't. Its durability forced her to endure a vicious headbutt from Styx that floored her once again, sending her back down on top of the referee, who let out a pained cry as she was squashed again.

"Aaaaannngh!" Now, Odessa was so dizzy that she couldn't even focus her vision. All she saw were a hundred spinning points of light, and they refused to coalesce into a single image. Desperately, Odessa pedal-kicked her legs, trying to hit Styx. She had to do something to turn the tide, and to slow her foe down. This was not a good position to be in at all.

Styx wouldn't quite say that she was immune to the negative effects of a headbutt, but she'd done it enough times in her career that, frankly, she knew how to take that kind of pain and deal with it, and figured out just the right way to hit it in order to avoid hurting herself more than the enemy. Oh, hitting Odessa busted up her own nose - or was it already that way? It didn't matter. Either way, the payoff made it worthwhile.

Her smile waned when she heard the referee's cry mixing in with Odessa's - as much as she wanted to not give a shit about either of them, the sad truth was that she needed the official conscious if she wanted to win this match. It was time to bring the fight away from the stalls, and hope the referee recovered by the time it was all wrapped up.

"You laughing now, bitch?" Styx began to reach down once more, this time tryiing to grab hold of Odessa's legs . She had just started to bend down when Odessa's foot shot out to greet her, going right in the middle of her stomach. That one knocked some wind out of Styx's stomach, and the kick that came right after that finished off rest of it.

Styx took a step back from the blow, nursing her stomach, before she moved back in with a fresh snarl flaring up over her face. She reached for Odessa's kicking feet and tried to grab hold of an ankle, wanting to drag her out of the stall in the roughest, most painful way possible.

Odessa wanted to get off of the referee, too, partially to ensure the woman remained conscious in order to fairly judge the end of the match, but also simply because she felt bad for the smaller-bodied girl, getting crushed underneath them in that wild dogpile. Luckily for the referee, it seemed Styx wanted to get off of her, too. Odessa was pulled by the legs a little bit out of the stall, and then nailed Styx with a couple of hard kicks to her midsection, forcing her to back up.

Odessa winced as she felt her leg throb after the kick. Those staples were still hurting, and every move she made hurt more and more. Odessa had to finish this match off soon, or the pain would just be too much to bear, even for someone with high endurance like her.

Styx decided to grab at Odessa again before she could get up. Roughly, the bald woman started dragging her out of the stall, sliding Odessa across the floor. With the hold on Odessa's ankle, Styx was keeping her from being able to kick properly. Odessa was frustrated. As she slid across the floor, she noticed all of the knick-knacks lying about, knocked out the floor by their battle.

Grabbing a small, heavy little statue that might have been meant to sit on a girl's bedside table as a good luck charm, Odessa would throw it upward, hoping to nail Styx in the stomach with it.

Styx had Odessa by the ankle, and now she just had to figure out what to do with her. Something strong, solid and blunt, that what was she needed. She wanted to just smashed the bitch's leg to pieces, hobble her and spend the rest of the match smashing her into the floor underneath the heel of her boot. It was a lovely mental image, but unfortunately, she couldn't find anything lying around the store that would get the job done. This place was noticeably devoid of blugeoning instruments, and now that Styx stopped and thought about it, that was probably a good part of the reason they decided to have the match take place here. Motherfuckers.

Ironically enough, though, Odessa found just the thing she'd been looking for, and immediately used it against her. Even more ironically, it turned out to be some Sailor Moon looking thing with googly anime eyes. It was heavy, it hit Styx's stomach, and the stupid spiky hair gave her a little stab in the gut for added pain.

Anime. Fucking anime. Styx refused to be done in by a cheap cartoon character, of all things.

The blow made her let go off Odessa leg and stumble away as she grasped her stomach, backing up towards the center of the store. She tried to shake out of it as quickly as she could, but this match was starting to wear on even her endurance.

Odessa remembered collecting these heavy ceramic cartoon sculptures as a young girl. They sat in a place of honor in her room, on top of her dresser, where they could be seen by every friend that came to visit—an easy way to learn about the young Odessa's favorite movies and characters, and one which was appropriate for a girl of high status. She had her dolls that got mangled and dirty, but those little statuettes were always going to remain pristine.

She would have hated throwing any of them at a woman the way she threw this one at Styx, but she had to do whatever it took to remain in the game. The heavy anime sculpture hit the bald woman squarely in her navel, forcing her to let go of Odessa and back up clutching her stomach. Odessa managed a smirk as she turned over onto her hands and knees. She started crawling after Styx as the woman backed up. Odessa wasn't going to get up onto her feet. She couldn't count on her stapled thigh to keep her aloft.

Instead, Odessa would try to keep it on the ground. She would lunge forward, trying to throw her weight against Styx's lower legs. She would wrap her arms around the bald woman's legs as she slammed into them, trying to tackle Styx down to the floor again and clamber on top of her.
