Violet Clarkson vs. Kozue Kaburagi - I Kicked A Girl And I Liked It!

Kozue stood in the middle of the ring, decked out in her usual ninja outfit, doing a few stretches while her music died down. She was focused on the match, thinking of strategies, planning a few moves she might use, but even through all of that, she couldn't help but notice that the crowd was a little more hype than they usually got for her matches. More tweeting going on. More cameras at the ready. More guys near the front. The little things you notice when you stare out at a crowd every other week. And while she would've liked to think it had to do with some surge in popularity, she was pretty sure of the real reason. It was something she'd struggled against for a while, wanted to avoid for the longest time, but it was finally happened: she was going to fight another girl.

Technically, this wouldn't be the first time she'd stepped in the ring with another woman. There was Bree in the tag match, for all of about two minutes, and she'd rumbled with Ro in the royale, also for all of about two minutes. Her spar with Alaina. Little, quick scraps. Not like this. Not a full match.

She knew it was coming. Tension was all about the mixed matches, but it wasn't like same-sex matches never happened. If John Mitchel could have the occasional yaoi match - which Kozue watched, three times in a row, strictly for training purposes - then she wasn't beyond getting pitted against a girl every now and then.  Couldn't complain. Not that she would know who to complain to...

Even still, Kozue couldn't fight a few nervous twitches as she swung her torso from side to side, popping a few bones in her back. She couldn't even explain why the idea of fighting another woman bothered her so much Sure, she'd seen some fucked up things on Friction, but she'd seen some fucked up things on Tension, too. The AFW was full of fucked up things, so why were female fucked up things somehow worse.

It was annoying. And she didn't know why it was annoying. Which just made it more annoying.

"Fuck. Fuck." Kozue muttered under her breath while she rolled  her shoulders, getting a few odd glances from the referee. She looked at her like she was crazy, and maybe she was. It was stupid. She was being stupid. There was no reason to get worked up over this. Whoever Violet was, she could handle her. It would be just like fighting a guy, only with more breast and less dick.

Yeah.

Kozue leaned forward and placed her hands on her knees, waiting for her opponent to saunter down.

Unlike Kozue, Violet came out in generic Tension music. This was her first official match in the league under her name. Vi's hair was no longer the dyed green she had colored it for quite some time. It was back to her natural golden blonde. She wore white elbow and knee pads with her British racing green colored shorts and top.

In her mind, she didn't have the same qualms and fears that Kozue had. She had fought otherwomen before and actually preferred it to fighting guys. Besides, this wasn't a normal match. This would just be a walk in the park for her. She slid into the ring and casually made her way to her corner. She didn't know much about Ninjette. What she did know, though, was why she had agreed to wrestle her in Tension.

"Good luck to you," she stated as innocently as she could manage in her English accent.

Huh. So. Kozue wasn't the smallest girl in Tension, after all.

That was the first thought that ran through Kozue's mind when she saw Violent walking down the ramp. Kozue had managed to bulk up a little since her training started, but she still was light enough to be benchpressed by most of the guys she fought, easy. She'd thought she was on the lowest rung of the latter, but apparently it went a little further down than even she'd guessed. Violet wasn't just the smallest Tension girl she'd ever seen, she migth've been the shortest AFW girl she'd come across yet. Not counting those freaky little kawaiis.

And the girl was such an unknown that they didn't bother to give her theme music. Damn. Kozue wasn't sure whether to be relieved or insulted. At least her first chickfight wouldn't be a hardball.

"Right back at you." Kozue stepped back and moved into position as she waited for the bell to ring. Blonde, tiny, ridiculously cute, and she had a sweet English accent - too saccharine. Kozue figured that she was a new girl, and they just wanted to start her off with a slower, easier match. No need to dial it up to eleven.

She moved in and brought her hands up, trying to see if Violet would go for a test of strength. Usually Kozue avoided doing it, but usually she didn't have much chance of winning it. Today was a day for new experiences.

Vi hesitantly nodded to the ninja girl when the bell rang and the match started. She wasn't sure exactly how to go about this. After all, her usual game was speed against the much larger opponents in the ring. She knew from her research that Kozue wasn't exactly slow, though, so she wasn't sure how far that speed would take her. The test of strength seemed a natural start at least for two of similar size.

And even though it wasn't Vi's usual start, she chose to just roll with it. She leaned forward and met with the girl's grip. She had more strength than most girl's her size, but even then it wasn't like she good easily match Kozue with the size difference. And it wasn't like her opponent was just an average girl for her size.

The moment they locked hands, Kozue poured as much power as she could into the hold, bearing down on Violet's hands and pushing their shoulders together with a fierce clash. It was actually a lot harder than she figured it would be - the little Brit wasn't a body builder or anything freaky like that, but she was working with more power than you would guess for her size. So maybe Kozue wouldn't be bulldozing over her, after all.

"Not bad, not bad." She dug her taped foot into the mat and tried to push forward a step. "So what's your deal,huh?" Kozue spoke through a growl and a huff. Maybe not the best time for idle chatter, but the girl had been pretty quiet since she entered the ring, and it was starting to make her nerves twitch. "New girl? First time in the ring?"

The smaller of the two women squeezed her hands hard into the other's, but even with all her vigor Kozue could still push her back. Vi grit her teeth trying to find more strength where there wasn't. "Not exactly," she growled through her teeth. The small talk made her angry but there wasn't much she could do. Kozue was just stronger than her.

Vi started to fall backwards towards the ropes, and almost in unison the crowd began to boo for some reason. Maybe they were really hoping for Vi to win the tie up or maybe they thought it was unfair for Kozue to even tie up with her from the start.

Or maybe it was the dragon masked man who had slipped into the ring with an empty beer bottle in hand. He held the referee back with one hand as he wound up the bottle like a baseball bat and shattered it viciously on the back of Kozue's head.

So this was what it felt like to overpower someone. A little intoxicating, Kozue had to admit, though she figured it was the sort of thing that would get old fast, and it hardly guaranteed victory. There was still a lot of match left to go.

Kozue started to pull back off the hold, looking to throw Violet with an Irish Whip, when the booing gave her some pause. Yeah, okay, she wasn't the underdog for once, but it was still a little wierd for the crowd to turn so fast on her. One minute they'd been just happy to see two girls going at and now she was getting smacked by this wave of hate. Wrestling crowds could be fickle, but...

All of the sudden, though, Kozue couldn't hear them. There was a crash, the unmistakable sound of a beer bottle shattering, only this was closer than she'd ever heard it before. The world seemed to slow down, the audience's boos became a chaotic slur of warped noise, and then the pain came. Seering, throbbing, agonizing pain in the back of her skull.

Kozue whimpered fell forward, flopping over Violet as her legs gave way, her weaks hands working on reflex to try and use the smaller girl for support. "What...fucking, what, shit..."

The bell rang and the crowd continued to boo at the cowardly and brutal tactic.  The man grabbed the referee and dragged her to the edge of the ring and ejected her onto the floor below.  He knew she'd try to get into the way and he would be having none of that.  He looked at the shattered remains of the bottle's neck in his hands and grinned.  He looked up at Vi and Kozue and threw the broken fragment aside.

The smaller blonde girl spun Kozue around and interlocked her arms behind her head in a full nelson so she faced the middle of the ring and Dragon.  The man stared for a few seconds at her as the crowd started to quiet down.  Rather conveniently, there was a microphone already nearby his foot.  He had brought it in with him right before the attack.  He picked it up and lifted it up to his mask, pausing dramatically for a few seconds.  He then laughed once and looked back at Kozue.

"I gave you a chance," he stated rather plainly.  It was probably unknown to most of the audience what he was even talking about.  He didn't care about them, though.  All he cared about was what Kozue understood.  "Offered you an opportunity to be on my good side.  And you spat in my face."  Hit him in the back of the head with a tire iron was more specific.  He took a few more steps closer to Kozue and leaned close to her.  And spat at her.

Kozue had no idea what was going on. She didn't know why someone smashed a bottle over the back of her head, only that it hurt like hell, and was giving her a migraine that would likely be staying in her head for the next week or two, not to mention the blood dripping down on the back of her neck. Lovely. Just lovely.

It was only after Violet roughly hauled her up in a full nelson that the puzzle pieces started to fit. The mask. The tone. That shit-eating grin. It had been a little while since she'd seen Black Dragon, but getting her face slammed into a car made it a memorable experience. He seemed a little sore about the way they'd parted. Suprise, surprise.

Kozue was about to open her mouth for something witty to respond with, when she felt something hot and sticky on her face. A droplets in her eye. A little on her mouth. Most on her cheek. Spittle. The fucker spat on her.

"Bitch!" She shot her leg out and tried to give Dragon a switf kick between the legs, while she brought her arms down hard to break the full nelson. Screw decency and honor - she needed an escape route, and if Dragon's testicles paid the price for that, she'd gladly accept.

Dragon had brought the mic back up to his mouth to continue when Kozue suddenly launched a kick up into his crotch. Caught completely off guard, he dropped the mic and fell to one knee. Apparently Ninjette was far more resilient than he gave her credit for. Vi underestimated her as well, as the woman then broke out from the full nelson rather forcefully while shifting to the side. Before Vi, or Kozue for that matter could do anything, though, Dragon retaliated.

With a sudden fist into the mat for leverage, the man surged forward and up, spearing both girls to the mat. Dragon's shoulder was deliberately aimed at Kozue, obviously, but Vi just happened to be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time when Dragon's other shoulder crashed into her as well. She fell to the mat, grasping her abdomen in pain and rolling to her front side while kicking the mat with one foot.
