Strategy:
Well-trained and intelligent, Haruna uses her own version of her family's martial art style to fight.  As a form of Kenpo, it focuses heavily on fast, standing strikes meant to disable an opponent.  Her own personal style shifts away from the traditional defensive focus of the art to a more offensive one, and also includes some ground moves to incapacitate downed foes.  As a rather cruel and sadistic person, she also has moves designed to attack tender areas, and will often strip her opponents to humiliate them.  Her arrogant nature, however, detrimentally affects her sense of danger, and her defensive capability suffers greatly for it.

Personality:
Haruna has a massive superiority complex and actively tries to make it known.  Fairly spoiled growing up, she tends to see other people merely as tools or toys for her enjoyment.  Easily antagonized or provoked, she never hesitates at a chance to prove her dominance or to humiliate other girls.  That said, she is well-trained in deception, and isn't above playing a role when it suits her interests.  She does anger very quickly though, especially when things don't go the way she wants them to.  Secretly quite sadistic, she finds great enjoyment in tormenting others, though her pride won't really let her admit to it.  Her arrogance extends to her looks as well, as she will often flaunt her body, but will never go completely nude, as she feels it would be too unrefined or primitive.

Past/History:
Haruna was born as the only daughter of the head family of the secret Shouda clan on shinobi.  Loyal to the Emperor since feudal times, the clan's identity has remained clandestine to the present day.  While they no longer actively serve the Imperial Family, a mere figure head in these democratic times, they maintain their sense of allegiance and pass down their knowledge and skills from generation to generation.

At least until Haruna, anyway.  As she grew up, both she and her younger brother very quickly learned and mastered all the skills taught to them, and were hailed as prodigies within the clan.  While her brother aspired to be the next clan head, however, Haruna had much more different goals in mind.  Her elder status would have put her next in line over her brother, but she had no interest in it whatsoever.  Feeling her talent was wasted living secretly like this, she began to act out at school, picking fights and trying to show off her skills.  This very quickly earned her a reprimand from her father and the other clan leaders, only for her to act out even more in rebellion.

Already quite old, her father eventually had to step down as clan head due to health reasons, leaving her younger brother, Akira to inherit the position.  While unsupportive of his sister's antics, he still respected her choices as an older sibling who had been very caring to him growing up, and so his first action as head was to negotiate an agreement between Haruna and the clan.  She would be allowed to go off and chase her own path, however she would have to change her last name and never reveal the existence to her clan or it's arts.  Caring about little other than her own personal glory, and having already created her own style of martial arts based off the family's school, these stipulation phased her little.  Agreeing to the terms, and bidding farewell to her dear little brother and begrudged parents, Haruna left the clan home.

Eager to set out and make her name known across the world, Haruna started by setting her sights on the AFW.  While a lot of it seemed vulgar and uncultured to her, the ease of entrance and worldwide popularity made it the ideal place to make her debut.  Quickly signing up with a sloppy-looking but diligent manager, she joined the AFW, intent on making all the girls there stepping stones for her glory and career.

Misc. Facts:
-A bit of a clean freak, and hates dirty things
-She keeps in touch with her younger brother, Akira.  He often fears for her safety, having looked in to what the AFW is like, and occasionally sends clan members to secretly check up on her.
-Despite her demeanor, Haruna is actually very intelligent and diligent about gathering information.  She mastered concealment and other subterfuge techniques taught by her clan as well, allowing her to sneak up or spy on people very easily.
