Eliza Harenwood vs Kira Tenshin

Eliza didn't actually expect Kira to reply to what she had said, although then again she did ask him a question even if it was framed as trash talk. So it was only natural she supposed, but was even more unexpected was how Kira basically just stated that he was nearing his limit. But still at least Eliza knew that Kira would be defeated soon, so long as Eliza kept getting in her offense. That was good, Eliza was believing that all that training was paying off during her time away.

She raised an eyebrow but couldn't comment on it just yet, considering that now Kira seemed to have just tossed caution to the wind. And was now going to launch a charging knee attack aimed right at tension's classiest girl, Eliza had gotten air back in her lungs. She was still a bit tired, but Ms Harenwood had learned to try and make each breath and each lull in the battle count as best she could.

Eliza waited for Kira to get close, and then she'd gracefully leap to the side. The attack was crude looking, like a brawler or an angry bear randomly swinging it's claws about. Against most people the attack would have had them right on their back and groaning aloud, but Eliza had learned that most of her opponents were bigger than her. So she learned to use her natural and trained agility to good use, Eliza would have now been at Kira's left. Waiting for his attack to end before attempting her counterattack.

"On your knees!" Eliza shouted as she tried to swing her leg into the back of Kira's leg, to try and force him to one knee. If Ms Harenwood was successful in this attempt she'd then try to run to the ropes, and bounce off them to sprint back to Kira's location. And then jump up and try to swing her leg into Kira's head for a shining wizard, but it was risky as Eliza could have her attacks blocked as she was making her intentions clear and known to her opponent.

It was really no surprise when Eliza managed to pretty much gracefully avoid Kira's charge. He really did seem to have ran out of ideas, and was now resorting to brutish tactics to try and prolong the match. When Eliza dodged, Kira's balance dropped. The shock of also missing made him vulnerable and dropped his guard. It was no surprise then that Eliza's first attack hit it's mark and forced him down onto one knee. The force caused him to grunt out in pain. Infact for Kira, it was very hard for him to avoid falling onto both knees from the impact force. He held however and stayed on one knee.

Kira was a bit confused from all the commotion that Eliza seemed to be going through about getting him on his knees. The shout did seem very determined. His mind wandered for a moment... and that was his mistake. The shining wizard should of been a easy block. It should of been a easy way to get back into the game. But while his mind was wondering why she was being so loud bout being on his knees, he got his answer. The smack from the strike was pretty audible. It hit his face and it hit him hard. Kira let out a yelp of pain as his body flew backwards crashing down fully on the mat. Yet again another blow to the head. This time though. Kira was dazed. Really out of it. It looked like this time he might not recover.

The crowd had roared in approval following Eliza's elegant shining wizard, she had swung her stocking clad leg right at Kira's head like a sword. Those ballet honed lower limbs had been trained since her childhood, not to mention how during her time off Eliza had toyed around with some Tae Kwon Doe upon hearing about how it involved mostly the use of her legs.

Ms Harenwood grunted out as she hit the mat, landing with a small thud that had been eclipsed by the noise that Kira made as he more or less crashed and burned. Her parents would no doubt consider it to be a fine shot, happy that the dancing passion had displayed such skill and finesses. Graceful was the word that Eliza applied to her fighting style, and that was how she carried herself in life.

Now seeing that Kira would have stars above his head if this were a cartoon, Eliza knew that now was the time to take the advantage. With that in mind Eliza got on her hands and knees and quickly started crawling, hoping to land herself down onto Kira's chest for a pin attempt!

For all intents and purposes Kira might as well of been knocked out. He wasn't, but his body was so limp that it actually felt like he was. It was very weird actually. It was only a blow to the head but it had managed to pretty much disable his entire body. The series of head blows had worn off and the crowd could sense in the air that everything was over. And the crowd seemed to relish it. Everyone seemed to enjoy what was going on here. Though admittedly they were pretty much here to see Eliza over Kira. Kira was sure that if he was Winning the crowd would not be as receptive.

When Eliza finally got and to pinning him, Kira just let out a grunt. It seemed as if everything was going Wong for him. He attempted to muster some energy and break the pin the second the ref started counting. He was sure he managed to move a bit, but it was barely noticeable, let alone enough to break pin. Before he knew it, the referee had already gotten half way through the count, and even though some of his sense were coming beck to him. It was nowhere near enough to allow him to escape this.

Eliza had smelt victory, Kira's reaction to her kick had proven that he was out of it now. And it was only natural for the dancing passion to try and gain victory, Eliza was thinking about how far she'd gone. Before Eliza never really seemed to be able to win, like she was missing something. Oddly enough Eliza had found that out after a major event and spending time away from the ring.

And it showed as Eliza had expertly pinned Kira, although he did seem to rouse back up. He was making little movements, but Ms Harenwood doubted that Kira could kick out. He didn't seem to be making the active effort, and also based on his earlier comment unless he was bluffing Kira was close to being burned out. The ref had been counting. "ONE....TWO....."

"THREE!!!!!" the ref then quickly stood up and signalled for the bell to ring. Eliza's theme song Pena Flamenca had begun blaring over the speakers as the crowd roared in approval of the dancing passion getting a long awaited win.

Eliza got off Kira, and lay on her back. She sighed and looked up at the lights above the ring, moving both her hands into her long and beautiful blonde hair. All that training really did seem to have paid off at last, for her first match of the year Eliza believed that she had started it on a good note.

"Ah!....whew!" Eliza said as she rolled onto her belly and then got on her knees, taking a deep breath in. She didn't know it but Ms Harenwood had a beaming smile on her regal features, normally she was polite if a bit aloof.

"That was great! M-Mr Kira do you um...require assistance?" Eliza said as she turned her head to notice her downed opponent. Ms Harenwood then got to a standing position and offered a hand up to help Kira up if he accepted it, Eliza had intended to win of course. But still Eliza was polite at all times, so it was only natural for her to extend this in the ring now that the match had concluded.

It seemed that for Kira, this year was going to be no different. Losing his first match was a bitter blow. Well it would be for any wrestler. But for Kira it seemed to signal the start of a repeat year for him. What was really prying his mind though was the fact that he had been outclassed. Completely outclassed. He had entered the ring not expecting his opponent to display such a high level of skill.

He couldn't think too much however. His head still hurt and his vision was still out f focus. It would take nearly a full minute for him to recover. Everything that Eliza had said during that time didn't register. Clambering onto his feet, slowly, painfully and on his own, Kira began to make his way to the ropes. The noise from the crowd didn't help, it was practically disorientating.

Kira wasn't ignoring Eliza on purpose. Well he was slightly. He was primarily focussing however on trying to get away and recover. Without saying a word, Kira stumbled out of the ring and went backstage. Not wanting to think about what just happened and instead wanting to lie down

Eliza frowned slightly upon witnessing Kira's reaction, but hey at least he wasn't attacking her or anything like that. Ms Harenwood was kneeling in the middle of the ring as Kira got to the ropes, she was tempted to help open them up for him. But if he wasn't wanting to at least shake hands at the end of the day then Eliza decided she might as well leave him be.

Still though Eliza had this beaming smile on her face, all that work did pay off it seemed. In fact Eliza hadn't felt this great since being picked for the tension battle royale, the dancing passion then made her way to her corner. She then picked up her dress and folded it in her arms, turning to Kira she said "Well good evening Mr Kira, I take it you can make your way back safely."

With that Eliza exited the ring and was making her way backstage, in fact she was actually skipping the entire time. Something she hadn't done in ages, yes things indeed were looking up for the dancing passion this year. Gone was the polite jobber, and now there was the graceful lady of war.

Winner - Eliza Harenwood
