Hana Fujioka vs. Army Rodriguez ~Big Guy, Bigger Girl~

Hana's eyes glanced at Carmen for a moment. Just a brief moment, before snapping back to Army. She briefly wondered how well Army would be fairing if he didn't have his sister to coach him, but didn't dwell on the thought too long. She had a match to win, after all.

She began to move in towards him again, the giantess keeping a careful eye on Army for any signs of attack or movement. She got exactly what she was looking for, when the Rodriguez sibling suddenly leaped into the air, vaulting towards her. The very sight of it stopped Hana in her tracks, the brunette staring in amazement as Army flew towards her, boots outstretched towards her chest. She certainly hadn't been expecting this from him, and she honestly wasn't sure how to react.

Not like she had time to react, anyway. Army's heels soon slammed into her chest, and the mighty Hana was send flying backwards. She ended up falling to the canvas, ending up lying on her back, staring up towards the light with a bewildered look on her face, panting quite visibly as she tried to figure out just what the hell had happened.

If Hana was surprised it landed, Army was surprised it even worked. He had to look silly jumping through the air like this. He felt silly. But results were results - no one could knock the attack if it did what it was supposed to, and the drop kick sure did that. The fallen giantess was more than enough proof.

Army landed on his shoulder for an awkward fall, definitely not the way it was supposed to go. But he was fine. He could sit up, right after the crash. Hana was having far, far more trouble with it, and he took the vacant look on her face as a good sign that his next move would be on the house. Which meant that needed to make this one really count.

He stood up and shot his fist straight up into the air, pumping himself up and even managing to get some of the audience behind him, for an extra confidence boost. Army ran towards the ropes and bounced off, getting a little added speed into step as he ran towards Hana.

"Cannonball!" He took to the air for the second time and flew over Hana's body,  blotting out the ceiling lights before he came down on her stomach with his back first, falling on her with a Senton Splash. He reached for her leg the second it collided and pulled it towards him while he leaned on her chest, trying to get the pinfall before she could even remember what her name was.

Hana kept staring upwards, towards the lights. She still wasn't sure what had just happened. Did Army really just nail her with a dropkick? Seriously? She would have to compliment him on the out-of-place attack sometime. It was odd, but it had worked.

She started to gather her wits, ready to try and push herself back up, when everything went dark, the lights above being blotted out by something. She would have let out a groan, if she had realized that it was Army, dropping through the skies towards her fallen form.

"UNNNFGH!" came the harsh, pained sound from her lips, as her foe slammed against her, causing her body to jerk awkwardly beneath Army. Her head rolled to the side, and her limbs settled against the mat, spread to her sides, as Army lifted up one of her legs, pushing her down for the pinfall.

"One...!" the ever-present referee called out, dropping to the mat nearby, beginning the three count yet again, and the crowd began to roar, on the edges of their seats as they wondered if this would be it for Hana.

Army gripped Hana tight as the referee dropped down for the count and the audience followed along. He always got a little rush during this moment. The pinfall was one of the things that wrestling offered that boxing couldn't compete with. This rush, this moment of bated breath, as he hoped for the match to reach a quick conclusion. Hana was a fun fight, but he wasn't sure he wanted to risk her taking control again. That last time had been close. Way too damn close. If she got the reigns one more time...

"2...!"

Carmen, for her part, wasn't sure how she felt at the moment. She wanted a good win for her brother, and this was the sort of morale boost he needed after the past few crappy months he'd had. He was smiling. Genuine, full smiles, and she didn't get that out of him nearly enough, these days

Hana was a fresh face, though, and she brought something that Tension didn't have nearly enough of...but was getting more and more of by the day. Real, honest competition. Strong women. It was the sort of thing that made her feel like she'd made the right choice by being on this side of the AFW.

The sister in her cheered on Army. The wrestling fan in her cheered on Hana. It was a funny little divide.

Hana remained unmoving beneath Army, her eyes half-closed as she listening to the referee calling out the second count. She was tired. She was still feeling the effects of Army's crushing bearhug, and she just wasn't sure how much energy was left in her tank. Really, if this wasn't her big debut, she might have just stayed unmoving. There was no shame in knowing when you were defeated, after all.

But Hana was stubborn, and she definitely was not quite defeated yet!

As the referee's hand dropped towards the mat for the final count, Hana suddenly jerked her shoulder upwards, lifting it off the mat to break the pin. The referee saw this and climbed to her feet, shaking her head and backing away from the two, signalling to the officials outside the ring that the match would continue.

Hana, though, settled back down against the canvas, groaning as she tilted her head to look up at Army. "Tch...hey. I'm not done yet. You don't think I'm that easy, do you?"

Army wished he could say she he was surprised that Hana managed to beat the count, and maybe some small silly part of him really was. But on the whole, he would have been shocked if she didn't kick out. The ante had been upped so often that having her bow out like this was almost unacceptable.

"If you were easy, this woud be boring as shit. Thank God." He enjoyed a little chuckled as he sat up and looked over his shoulder, seeing her laying behind him. She still had some spirit left, but not enough to get back up and mount an offense.  Not yet. For the moment, he had the match on lock. She'd kicked out last time, but not by much. One, final, decisive attack was all he needed. Something powerful, something devastating, something that'd work well with his strength...

A powerbomb. What other choice was there?

Army started to stand up and grabbed Hana under the arm pit, pulling her to knees while he stood up all the way, looking down at the back of her head. "You're good, but you've got limits." He shoved her head between his legs and clamped down, hard and tight."And this? This'll break them. Watch."

Army reached foward and wrapped his arms around her waist, getting a solid hold and squeezing tight before he lifted. The exertion made her burst out with a booming roar as he flipped her around, letting her sit up on his shoulders to  form a ten-foot tall totem pole. "What goes up..."

He started to fall forward, putting his weight into the move as he brought her back down to earth with enough force to shake everything up to the rafters.

Hana winced, as Army grabbed her, and pulled her up to her knees. She wanted to fight match, to mount some kind of an offense against the mighty boxer-turned-wrestler, but she was still unfocused. Still tired. Still hurting for energy. She just needed a moment to catch her breath, that was it, and she knew she could bring the heat back to Army.

But he wasn't giving her that moment. She felt her cheeks turn red, a light blush spreading across her face as she felt his head get shoved right into his thighs. There were a number of things that Army could do her, but Hana had a feeling she knew exactly what was coming next.

Sure enough, her fears were justified, as Army reached down, his arms wrapping around her, squeezing her as he hauled her up into the air. She felt her stomach churn as she was flipped around and sat on his shoulders. This wasn't good. This wasn't good at all. She knew was in serious trouble here, but again, she was stubborn. No giving up, not until she was truly, completely defeated.

In the split-second before Army started to bring her down, Hana's body suddenly tightened. Her legs started to squeeze around his head, her thighs like a thick set of clamps holding him in place. Then, the giant Amazon suddenly threw herself backwards, towards the mat, while trying to flip Army down as well. It was a strangely acrobatic move coming from someone of Hana's size, but she had little doubts of the effectiveness of her huracanrana, though inwardly she was desperately hoping that Army would go down from this, and not be able to stop her last attempt at turning the tables on him.

The powerbomb was a simple move. Army liked his moves simple. Then again, he was lifting Hana Fujioka, a woman who weighed nearly as much as he did, and maybe a little more. He'd only done this on a handfulf of people in training, and never anyone with a pound over one-fifty. So he wasn't completely sure he even had the power to pull this off properly. He could just fail and fall flat on his back with her on top or throw his spine out of whack.

Something about that challenge made it even more enticing to Army. Getting that giddy feeling, again.

It wasn't easy holding her above his head, but Army managed it, getting the balance just right in preparation for the slam. But, as he started to fall forward, he could feel something was off. The crushing pressure around his neck was the first clue - he hadn't expected Hana to go gently, but the force she brought down was incredible, more than he'd banked on from such a stunned woman.

On top of that, the world was flipping. His feet were lifting off the canvas. He was flying forward, tumbling around, and the trip ended with a mighty crash into the ring as his back slammed into it. It took him a second to process what had happened, like his brain was suffering from lag. A hurricanrana. She'd countered with a goddamn hurricanrana.

He laid there, blinking and stunned and totally speechless. Army would have to watch the tape when this was through to be sure what he thought happened really happened. "Jesus..."

Hana lied there near Army after bringing him down with the huracanrana. She found herself slightly speechless as well. She had never used a huracanrana, and part of her was surprised it had actually worked. She could already imagine the fansite posts and the writeups from this match that she'd be reading tomorrow, and she could already imagine that someone, somewhere, would refer to it as something silly like the Hanacanrana. A tiny smile crept onto her face at the thought of something so ridiculous, but it vanished just as soon as it appeared, the mighty brawler knowing that she still had a job to do here.

She rolled over to her belly, and shook her head, pushing herself up to her hands and knees. She paused for just a brief moment, taking in a long, deep breath, then started to rise up, towering over Army's fallen body. She didn't waste any time, leaning back down to grab Army by the arm, going to pull and tug him back up to his feet. She was ready to end this, once and for all. She just needed the Rodriguez sibling to be back up on his feet, first.

The crowd was laughing, but it wasn't a mean sort of laugh. Not mocking, more amused, and there was plenty of clapping to go along with it - that wasn't something you saw everyday. Or ever, really. But just because it was a rare move for someone like Hana to bust out didn't make it ineffective, and Army could attest to that. The pain in his back and his spinning brain were excellent proof. He would need a moment before he could stand under his own power, much less make any sort of comeback.

Hana wanted him up right now, though, and unlike most of his opponents, she was strong enough to make that happen without him helping along. She tugged on his arm and the rest of his body followed, as he groggily made his way up on wobbling knees. He tried to put up a fight, but it didn't amount to more than feebly twisting around in her grasp.

He placed one hand on her shoulder to support his own weight and stay upright. "Aw, man." He had a short, burst of a laugh and blinked a few times, trying to clear out the spots in his vision. "This'll suck for me, won't it?"
