Alex Withers vs Hummingbird- Hardcore Submission Match

Having her feet crushed beneath Hummingbird's boots was really starting to bite, so Alex was surprised when she removed one of the boots and wrapped her fingers between Alex's toes, almost as if giving her a massage. Of course, she found out that this was no massage as her ankle was cruelly twisted, the other foot still beneath Hummingbird's full weight. Alex gritted her teeth, trying not to vocalize the pain.

Hummingbird thought for sure that she did enough to make Alex submit, but this other girl was just too persistent. After a few more seconds of the hold, she would release and get off of her to back away for a moment. Panting, she would say, "You know, if you had submitted, then things could've been easier, but I see that I'll have to do things the hard way now. This is hardcore after all."

As much as she wanted to do hardcore, Hummingbird sometimes feared that her fighting might be deemed too aggressive. That being put in, it's what the crowd wants, so she had to comply. She would quickly slide out to try and find any weapon that can best suit her. The only things she found easy were a kendo and a baseball bat, so she would slide back in with them and checked to see how Alex was doing.

Given her opponent's earlier ultimatum, Alex was surprised when Hummingbird released her toes and stepped off her foot, though she wasn't one to question her good fortune. She gave a confident chuckle as her opponent left the ring, struggling to climb to her feet. Getting up turned out to be harder than expected, however, as the damage to her feet almost resulted in her falling over several times. On top of that, her earlier confidence diminished as a few weapons rolled into the ring, knowing full well where this was going now.

Hummingbird got back into the ring with her new weapons and examined them closely. She would start swinging and twirling them like a real martial arts expert and stopped as she pointed the kendo at Alex. She started to step forward as she said, "I must warn you, my dear friend, I had trained in weapons combat for quite some time. I just hope you can keep up with me."

Hummingbird kept her eyes and kendo pointed at Alex until she was close enough. Raising her kendo for a right swing, she would shout, "On guard!" And she started to swing the kendo and bat left and right to see how fast Alex can dodge or take the hits.

As Hummingbird put on her martial display, Alex started to get the sense that this was not what she thought of as a wrestling match anymore. This girl seemed to be less of a gimmick and more of a legit, bonefide ninja! Able to prepare herself, Alex was fortunate enough to step out of the way of the first swing of the kendo stick, however the bat collided with her shoulder hard and almost knocked her off her feet. She knew she was backing towards the corner, but she didn't have much of an option other than take the hits and hope she'd stay standing at this point.

Hummingbird was quite impressed that Alex managed to dodge the first swing. Usually, the people she fought wouldn't escape that hit and instantly become vulnerable. However, she did score the other hits and the two were getting closer to the corner. Taking notice of this, she had to try a little trick to get Alex off her guard and force her to that post.

So, as Hummingbird kept swinging, she would attempt to thrust the top of the baseball bat into Alex's stomach like a sword (a non-sharp one). If Alex doubles over, Hummingbird would follow with a little rising uppercut to the face from the tip of the kendo and a flying straight kick to send Alex flying back first to the turnbuckle.

The hits that landed lowered Alex's guard, and she was left completely vulnerable as Hummingbird thrusted the shaft of the baseball bat into her abdomen, briefly lifting her off the ground as her pupils shrunk in pain. Quickly, this was followed up with a blow to the bottom of her jaw, and a kick to the face, sending her crashing into the corner, her arms dizzily resting on the top ropes.

Hummingbird let out a huff of air as she span her weapons a little more to reposition herself. Alex is now at the corner, slumping and resting her arms on the top ropes. She needs to try another move though since doing the same move at the turnbuckle can lead to a reversal. Then, seeing the weapons in her hands, she thinks that she can get this match closer to her side.

She would hold both the kendo and bat in her hands sideways like they were a shield protecting her and focused her sights on Alex. Hummingbird would then charge and attempt to drive her own "shield" directly into her opponent's stomach. If this worked, she would add another whack to the face with her kendo.

All Alex was able to muster was one deep breath before both weapons were driven hard into her gut, knocking the wind out of her. She slumped a bit further down the turnbuckle, before the kendo stick crashed into her face, forcing a harsh yelp out of her.

Based on how she is viewing her opponet's condition, Hummingbird would guess that she is getting closer to the finish line and she could place first! But first, she has to get Alex into the right and desired position. She would toss the weapons to the center to use later before reaching down to try and grab Alex's legs to pull them to the center.

If she can do so, Hummingbird would also try to take the bat and bounce the top bulk onto the stomach again before saying, "Seems like you're running out of gas. Can you still take a little bit more? I promise you the match will be over by then."
