Contract Negotiations

Mercy tucked her chin down and blushed as the conversation suddenly turned to her. She was the LAST person who should be calling the match. She shouldn't even be at the MEETING.

" I-if both of you agree, I guess I have no choice but, really, I barely know the first thing about wrestling."

Mercy looked between them. "Are y-you agreed? I can study the rulebook!" Mercy said, raising her hand in the air.

She couldn't get the sinking feeling out of her gut though, no matter how determined a face she tried to put on.

"Guh!" Clyde threw a hand up in agitation.

Allison smoothly moved on to the next point, as if she were the one moderating. "Now, what will we do to ensure that Clyde Gastin and Jocelyn don't interfere? Do we ban them from the arena? Jocelyn would be hard to find, and neither one of them would be likely to cooperate."

She gazed at Mercy and awaited her solution.

Mercy was about to answer Allison's questions but paused. She turned and looked at Clyde. She wanted to ignore his outburst but she couldn't.

"Is there... a problem, Mr. Gastin?"

He didn't care for her professionalism. He knew what she was doing but he wish she acted like her real self. He felt her 'paralegal' self was pushing her to do something so probably would avoid in an animated fashion. The fact she didnt want out angered him.

"Just tell me what I'm supposed to do or where I go..." He said dismissively. It wasn't his call. It was Bonnie's.

"OK, umm..." Mercy said, blushing a bit. "Then I guess we'll proceed as we have been. Ms. Gastin and Ms. Lu will be barred from the arena while the match is going on. Are those the only two people who need to be banned?" She asked.

"And... that's not the only thing. What happens ... once the dust settles? What happens after the match?" She said, looking between both girls.

"What about your..." Allison paused to keep from saying what she really thought about the girl. "Scottish friend. After being assaulted by her in an abandoned parking lot, I don't think she's one to follow the rules, either."

She smiled sweetly at Clyde and Bonnie. "Its not a stipulation, but I will say that win or lose, if either of you ever come to my spa again, I'll have you arrested."

"Great. Maybe we''ll go hang." Clyde muttered. He was a little worried about leaving his sister alone  again. Though he supposed he could trust Mercy to keep her safe even with her new friend in the ring. He wished he could get a piece of Jocelyn since she was free apparently.

One thing Bonnie didn't consider though was what would happen after the match. But she had some ideas. Some thoughts. She growled though at the mention of Duffy. It was no assault, her lover was avenging her.

"ha! Whatever! I don't care about goin' back to that girly place. I'll beat you so ugly nobody will wanna go there anyway!"

"Mmmm..." Allison purred with a joyless smile and dangerous eyes piercing through Bonnie. "Wouldn't that be fun?"

Mercy sighed at the squabbling. "OK, OK. We're not really settling things." Mercy looked at Allison. "If you want to have them arrested for trespassing at your spa, then fine. You're in your legal right to do so. But, what assurances do Mr. and Ms. Gastin have that you'll stay out of their lives once the match is concluded?"
