Stress Relief at the Dojo

Kozue was starting to wonder how anyone survived against Alaina. The girl was a saccharine sweet cupcake, yeah, but she took hits like a tank and returned every bit of punishment she was given, sooner or later, with added interest. With some practice, it was gauranteed to be more 'sooner', and less 'later'. This spar needed to end.

She pressed forward and rushed Alaina head on, leaping forward at the right moment to try and catch her with a quick spear. It wouldn't a pretty colission and it would probably only work for a few seconds until Alaina broke out, but if she could land one, good submission - maybe a camel clutch, maybe a figure-four leglock, she'd figure it out.

Alaina's eyes widened as she saw what Kozue was doing. A spear. Its exactly what Alaina would have done. That recognition gave her a split second more to react. She knelt, bladed herself off towards Kozue and tilted her upper body. She reached her arms out in an attempt to grab Kozue with one arm around the shoulder and the other down around her waist.

Alaina hoped she was able to hit her with a powerslam and pinfall reversal.... she had given as well as received enough spears to know how much they sucked!

Ah, see, this was good. A teachable moment. Kozue learned a very important lesson: don't do spears. Ever.

"Nonono-" She wiggled about as Alaina caught her and lifted her up. She didn't know exactly what was about to happen, but she felt safe in assuming that it would involve slamming her down and a lot of pain.

Sure enough, she was right.

"Shit!" Kozue fell hard into the reversal and landed in the perfect pin position, her world spinning around way too fast for her to do much of anything while Alaina wracked up some points.

Alaina tried holding Kozue down as long as she could, unsure of how much Kozue had left in the tank. She wanted to puch Kozue on.... maybe a litle trash talk, done as respectably as possible, may help?

"Come on Kozue, you can do better than that!"

One...... The count began and Alaina continued to her trash talk.

"You don't strike me as the type to get dominated, unless I underestimated you." Alaina said, still trying to hold Kozue down to add to her leading total. It wasn't until after she spoke that she realized she may have come across as a cocky bitch as opposed to motivating....

Kozue wasn't sure if Alaina was trying to be helpful or what. Not because she questioned the words coming out of her mouth, but because she honestly wasn't even paying them much attention. She was in far too much pain to get much focus going. That powerslam felt like it rearranged her innards, and while she might have been able to take it around the start, the grueling sparring match was starting to wear away on her.

After a few moments - she wasn't counting - Kozue managed to spring out from under Alaina and break the count, but she was hardly in a position to do much, except from some groaning while she rolled over on her side.

Alaina saw Kozue roll over onto her side, hearing her groan. Alaina glanced at Junko, then moved in towards Kozue's legs. She was going to grab ontomher ankle and put her in an ankle lock, but only hold on firmly enough to keep Kozue from breaking away. Right now Alaina had a sizeable lead, and a soft hold was a hopefully merciful end to things.

As Alaina moved forward to initiate her hold she spoke up. "Are you all right? Talk to me." Right now worry of hurting Kozue had overtaken any joy from possibly winning a hardfought spar.

Kozue was finally coming out of it when Alaina put her in the hold, and the jolt gave her a little wake up call. It had been a nice, hard spar, and they targeted some key areas where they both needed work. So, mission accomplished on that front, at least.

"Yeah, I'm straight." Kozue sprang up and tried for the ropes, hoping she could get free. Lose or not, the whole point of this was to get used to the movements, and that didn't stop when the bell rang. "You?"

Alaina held, but was caught off guard by Kozue's bid to reach for the ropes. Alaina let go once Kozue made contact.

"Oh I'm all right, a bit tired out but fine otherwise." Alaina said as Kozue got to her feet. It was a ropebreak, so Alaina backed off as she would in a normal matchup. "I am lucky that most of my opponents aren't as fast or resilient as you are!" She added cheerfully. Truthfully, Alaina lost count of the score but she readied herself for a Kozue offensive just in case....

Kozue had a dark chuckle as she made her way up. "And I'm lucky most of my opponents aren't as tough or as strong as you are...oh, wait." She grabbed the ropes and yanked herself back up to her feet. "Well, you're smarter than most of the guys, anyway."

Keeping track of the score after getting piledriven was a bit difficult, but Kozue figured she was right on the edge of losing, with Alaina in a commanding lead, and she still hadn't gotten behind her. Kozue had an idea on that front, but it was going to take some serious risk.

She was looking forward to it.

She moved over to Alaina and went straight into her, looking for a tie-up. That was gauranteed to end badly for her in a normal situation, but what she had in mind was anything but normal...

"Yeah, those Tension boys can be pretty big.... but I have seen a few I bet I can man... er, womanhandle." Alaina said, thinking of her hardcore match against Daisuke.

Alaina was surprised to see Kozue coming forward for a lockup, but Alaina moved up to happily oblige. Alaina didn't know what Kozue had planned, but she figured if she could quickly force her smaller opponent against the ropes or into a corner it would ruin whatever Kozue came up with......

The last thing Alaina wanted to do was get suckered into a trap.
