AV 14 Main Event: Angel (C) Vs. Taylor Parker for the World Friction Title!

Angel was flipped over onto her front. She softly whimpered, thinking that Taylor was going to bend her leg back again, but no. It was something even worse.

"AAAAAAAAAGGGHH!"

Her scream echoed through the arena, her body jerking violent as her knee was slammed straight into the hard metal of the fallen barricade. Waves of shocking pain shot through her leg, and more then a few tears of pain leaked from her eyes. She didn't know if she would be able to get back up again after that. Could she? Would she even be able to stand?

All the champion could think about was the pain shooting through her leg. It hurt. It hurt a lot. Her first instinct was to get away from Taylor, to put some distance between them, but she didn't even think she could do that.

Still though, she had to do something. She tried to weakly push herself up, trying to crawl away from Taylor, whimpering again every time she moved that hurt, injured leg.

"Angel..."

Taylor tried to come up with something, some cutting trash talk, something clever, something funny at Angel's expense, but nothing came to mind. She was past the point of snappy one-liners.

While Angel tried to crawl away, Taylor grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into a sloppy run past the barricade and flung her headfirst into the closest rows of folding chairs, while the crowd scattered to make room.

Angel hissed, as Taylor grabbed onto her hair, tugging it to drag her towards the barricade. She hated that. She hated how it made her scalp burn, and especially now it hated it because of how helpless it made her feel.

In the next moment, the Latina went awkwardly flying towards the suddenly vacated seating, her body crashing into the chairs, sending several of them scooting backwards. Her head slammed into one, which only served to help widen the gash in her forehead, her own face looking almost as bloody as Taylor's at this point.

She was almost thankful for the violent, sloppy attack, however. It helped her focus. Helped her remember where she was at and what she was supposed to be doing.

With a soft grunt, she tried to push up to her hands and knees, trying again to get back up on her feet, trying her best to ignore the intense, almost crippling pain shooting through her leg.

Taylor followed after Angel, not with her characteristic fleet-footed grace, but with heavy, plodding steps. She spat out blood and drew deep breaths through her mouth, tried to wipe some blood off her face with her hand to keep it from getting in her eyes, and winced at the sharp pain in her sideways nose.

When Angel began to stand up again, Taylor stepped in and torqued a vicious low roundhouse kick into the back of her knee.

Angel shouted out as Taylor's kick smashed into her knee. Her leg gave out from under her, the Latina collapsing to the floor again, groaning from the sheer agony of having her leg so brutally assaulted again and again and again.

But even still, she refused to give up. Not yet. Her typical stubbornness was demanding that she keep fighting, and so she did, the Latina trying weakly to rise up again, moving even slower then she did before.

Taylor kept moving with grim resolve, picking Angel up by the hair yet again. She remembered a time when she didn't ever pull hair, because it seemed dirty. Now it seemed like the most natural thing in the world.

She didn't know what she, or anybody, had to do to keep Angel down, but she was going to find out eventually. She wrapped an arm around Angel's head and pulled Angel's arm around behind her own head. She drew a breath and got herself set, and then bent her knees and heaved upward to lift Angel for a vertical suplex into more rows of chairs.

Again with the damn hair. Always with the damn hair. Once again Angel was yanked up by her hair, back up to her feet, and once again she felt that awful, burning sensation in her scalp.

She made a mental note, reminding herself to rip Taylor's pigtails right off of her head if she could get the chance.

She leaned against the blonde, panting as Taylor set up her for the suplex. She waited, relishing in every moment that it took for Taylor to prepare herself, glad for those few short seconds, glad for the chance to get even a moment's worth of rest.

When she felt Taylor inhale in, she finally acted. She took in a deep breath herself, and drew back her own arm, tightening up her fist. Then, she sent it thrusting forth, a tired, angry punch aimed straight for Taylor's stomach. It wasn't anything big, or flashy, but Angel was running on fumes, and trying to save what energy she could for when she really needed it.

"Guuh!"

Taylor grunted and jumped back as Angel's punch sank into her chiseled midsection. That shit just wasn't gonna fly.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr..." She growled and roughly jerked upward on Angel's neck, squeezing her tightly and getting her back into position. This time, that bitch was going down for a rough landing, just like what she did to Taylor earlier.

She bent her knees and tried again to suplex her overhead and into the metal folding chairs.

"Gaah!" Angel cried, as Taylor gave her neck a jerk and a tight squeeze. The blonde bent back down, trying to set the Latina up for the suplex again, but that wasn't going to happen, not if Angel had anything to say about it.

This time, as Taylor tried to to heave her up, Angel slid one leg forward, her good leg, and wrapped it around one of the challenger's own. Before Taylor could lift her up, she suddenly jerked her leg backwards, pushing forward with her upper body at the same time, trying to pull Taylor's leg out from under her so that she toppled backwards, with Angel herself coming along for the ride.

"Shit..." Taylor cursed as Angel again failed to leave the floor like she was supposed to.

"Shit!" She squealed as she toppled over backwards, landing heavily with a sharp cry. Hot pain shot through her back and into her arms, and she clenched her fists and tried to push through it.

She shoved Angel's face back with one hand and lined up an elbow strike, and then suddenly moved her hand so that Angel's head came back as she threw her elbow up into her face.
