The Couch

Angel leaned down, opening the fridge and pulling out a bottle of water, unscrewing it and then greedily guzzling it down as she headed back to the couch, listening to Akashi talk.

When the sumo finished, she answered her quietly, looking to the side and avoiding her lover's  gaze. "Of course there will be. I hope so, at least. I'm not letting her affect us, and I'm not asking you to choose between us. I would never do that."

She slowly turned her head to Akashi, looking at her for a moment, and then back away again. "I just want this to be over with. I have no idea what crawled up her ass, but if she wants a fight again, then I'll gladly bring it to her. I'm just hope that when it's over, that you won't be upset over what I do to her."

"i tried staying out of it and that didn't work. And it wasn't her that brought up my name." Akashi said. And even if I did choose you, she'd get over it. She'd understand. It's not like I'm going to be out there cheering her on in the corner. I just want her to know I have her back. It's not like I want you to lose the title or anything but..."

Akashi turned her back to Angel and let her kimono slip off of part of her shoulder, revealing the triskelion tomoe. "We've scarred our bodies for each other." She said as she pulled her kimono back up. "You and I... we're still a flower in bloom. At least, I hope so." Akashi said, turning back to Angel. "And, i think if it can survive this, than it can survive anything." She added hopefully.

Angel blushed faintly as Akashi reminded her who brought up the sumo's name, squirming uncomfortably on the couch. She finished off her water and flung the bottle to the side, glancing up at Akashi's bare shoulder, and let out a sigh.

"I know what you two have done for each other. I know that. I just..." She stopped, and bit her tongue again, holding it for a moment before looking back up at Akashi.

"Alright. When this is over, we'll try to work things out. But. She gets one damn chance. One. That's fair, right, sumo?"

She kept quiet again though and didn't say the rest of what she really wanted to say. She could tell that this was bothering Akashi, and she really did care about her too much to want to say anything that could hurt her.

"That's all she'll need. If not, I will kick her ass myself, like I said." Akashi said with a smile. She walked over to Angel and took her head, leaning in to kiss her deeply. "Everything is going to work out." She purred as the kiss broke. "I might be a little bit of a ghost until the match but if you need anything, let me know. I'll still do whatever I can, you know." She said and stood up, turning to leave.

Angel leaned up, softly returning Akashi's kiss with a lil' moan, then settled back onto the couch afterwards.

"Not a lot you can do, sumo. Whatever happens next, it'll all between me and her, you know?"

Akashi smiled. "it'll be fine. It always is. Ja ne, Tenshi-chan."

Angel smiled, and waved. "Seeya, sumo."
