Training in a forest cave

Arasinya noticed this and held Xerxan close just in case. Gwen then gulped because she didn't know much about fighting.

"Awww..." Morwen moaned in disappointment in both situations. "Alright, it was good sparring my double for a while. So what are we gonna do now? How can I prove myself worthy to the family?"

The girl that was considering approaching Xerxan backs off as she realizes she wouldn't stand a chance of proving she was the stronger one then walk back to the other girls. Lira says " don't worry have fun and just don't try to get attached to any of the other drow boys otherwise you may have to fight off any rivals for him. The ones tuning the instruments begin as they hear children cheer Festival time festival time as they scamper to the dance area performing their own unique style while a couple of girls from the group approach them looking at Arasinya, Gwen, and Kentis with a curious look in their eyes being they never seen anyone that wasn't a drow before.

Arasinya saw how curious the regulars were and said, "Hello, my name is Arasinya and I'm new to this festival."

Next was her mother, "I am Genevieve, the children's chaperone.

Then the kids spoke out next, "I'm Kentis." "And I'm Gwen."

Morwen would say to the matron mother, "Mother, please, can't there be another way? I don't want to let this family down, I can prove myself here!"

The two curious children get startled and run back to the other children as they stop and start to talk. Lira says " they are just really timid you are probably the first outsiders they seen and you surprised them." The matron mother says don't worry being I summoned your double and you won shows you already made me proud we just need to get to a safe spot to do the ritual with you.

"Sorry," said Gwen looking sad. "What can we do now?"

Morwen asked, "Do we know of any place that we can perform it without causing any detection?"

Lira says " lets just enjoy the festival while the children work up the courage to pay you another visit next time it may be more of them" as she stands and leads Din away to the dance area set aside for the adults so the children can have enough room. Xerxan still feeling most of young girls eyes on him even though they are too intimdated by Arasinya to approach him. The matron mother says I wish I know a spot, but my own wards will allow us safety and quick excursions to gather food without no one knowing out location too well."

Arasinya still held Xerxan close as she said, "Alright, let us proceed then." The two young adults headed to the dance floor along with the mother while the two kids went to their respective area. All are doing their best to fit in.

Morwen nodded as she felt disappointed in not doing more for her new family.

Xerxan is about to stand up to say he wanted to go talk to the ones playing the music about getting a few pieces of sheet music to practice with when he notices after it was only the three of them on the blanket the children approach and sit on the very edge their curious minds out weighting their fear. A few of the girls sit closer to Arasinya's mother relaxing and feeling safe as her motherly aura makes them smile. A few others start asking Arasinya questions about the land outside their home some not even waiting their turn before asking more questions. Lira seeing the children swarming them smiling as the priestess who was caring for them placing her hand over her face knowing this was going to happen. The matron mother says" it isn't your fault I left my legacy of destruction when I did a few solo raids of merchant routes so their wards to try and locate and prevent trouble is to be expected."

Arasinya's mother would tell her group of girls, "I am very glad to meet you all here. My name is Genevieve and I've brought my daughter, Arasinya, with me. Have you come with any mother or father with you?"

Arasinya would tell the other girls, "Back in my home, we women often just stayed home. We never had any adventures or did anything unexpected....but I managed to change all that. Following in my father's path, I've trained to wield his weapons and move my feet swiftly to fight and defend my people."

Morwen understood and so she had to try and compromise. "If it does seem impossible, may I fight with my double again?"

The girls say to Genevieve "you both are really pretty" as the priestess comes by and says " I am sorry I didn't think they would swarm you like they did I am just the one trying to keep track of them so their parents can prepare for their parts in the festival. The children say all at once " she is really nice and plays with us along with tells us lots of stories." The ones near Arasinya sit near her listening to her talk about what life is like in her home town while the other children listen too as the band plays a more pleasant dancing tune. Lira motions for Kentis and Gwen to join them in the adult circle along with the few other couples making the same motion that they are grown up enough to be with them dancing instead of the children's dance spot. The Matron mother says " of course dear just remember she has memory of your previous spar just her skills will match you as before." The Matron mother walks over places her hand on Morwen's forehead chanting the words that start to become clear enough for her to remember as her double starts to materialize getting into her arrogant combat stance thrusting her chest out at Morwen as a taunt once again.
