the nightmare versus the world

as she slowly drifted off to sleep sshe would dream about being in her childhood home with her sister as they played with them that and other one day she ran home from school very excited "mother mother! Eight digit I get it I did-" there was an ambulance parked outside their house her eyes were wide as she let out a scream and then work up very abruptly looking over at the little girl that still had it in her embrace her skin with deathly pale her hair was jet black she wore a plain white nightdress and her eyes the youngest daughter can remember were blood red

Masaki would hear Natsu being more afraid in her next dream and she tried to comfort her within it. "Natsu...shhh....don't be afraid. I'm here, just hug me close, baby."

she grabbed the little girl holding her tightly muttering "don't let me go to let me go!"

"I won't let you go, baby," said Masaki hugging her closer. "No harm will come to you while I'm here." As long as she kept Natsu close, the mother hoped that they both can sleep well enough for the morning.

"I need to be loved" she said something like she was going to burst into tears

"You ARE loved, Natsu," said Masaki starting to rock her again in their sleep. "Just keep holding onto me and I'll give you as much love as you need. Your Mom is here now and I won't leave you."

"mother? I can feel a small body" she said in her sleep referring to her mother she would press on her flat chest lightly with her head as she asked "how old iis the girl"

"Girl?" Mrs. Sakamoto asked curiously. "What girl are you mentioning, Natsu?"

she would go on to explain that a child is holding on to her she is completely out of it and does not realise that the child is her mother

Masaki would think for a moment over this before smiling to her daughter. "Uhhh, honey, I think that little girl that's holding onto you is me. I'm trying to keep you safe and warm, I don't realize my touch was that of a little girl."
