Mion Kiaragi vs Mayu Hoshino

Mion was taken aback here, she was countered there fair and square. And with her leg being held the Queen of Spades wasn't in a good position to dodge the blow that Mayu flung at her, it earned a loud grunt of pain as she fell down. A spectacular move indeed, but Mion wasn't much up for admiring it.

"Ah!" the Queen of Spades yelped out as she was expertly swept, with the other M girl still holding her leg. And going for a pin attempt as well, it was good to be sure.

Mion was sweating and knackered, the hair that had fallen onto her forehead doing it's best to stick to it. The lights above stinging her eyes, but the Queen of Spades would struggle as best she could. She remembered that one needed to get a shoulder up before the count of three.

"ONE!" the ref yelled out, but Mion would attempt to squirm and struggle under Mayu. She was worn down and tired yes, but would attempt to get her farthest arm's shoulder up. But even if she did manage to break out, Mayu was still atop her.

Just as the ref moved to the second count, Mion moved her shoulder, breaking the pin and caused Mayu to pout a bit. Well, she kinda expected that it wouldn't be that easy. Releasing her opponent's leg, she rolled away from the other girl and shifted herself to one knee, adjusting her breath and rubbed her kicked chest a bit. It seemed that she couldn't really afford trading blows too much.

The short haired girl would just watch on her opponent's move for the time being, although she didn't really plan to be on the defensive side again. Her intention was to wait for Mion to start getting up, so she could dash forward and hit her opponent with a shoulder charge. It's not really for knocking Mion off to the ground again, though, as Mayu's plan was to disrupt the girl's balance to create an opening.

Mion was staggering back to her feet, she was sweating like she'd just got out a sauna. It reminded her of when she and the Jack of Clubs duked it out in her dojo that one night, but she had to push out those thoughts! It was a moment of madness, and they had beaten each other to a pulp before it anyway.

But back in the ring, as the Queen of Spades got back up. She was charged straight on by the other M girl, Mion hadn't even time to catch her breath. Mayu had just blitzkrieged the Queen of Spades, just like that Germany vs Brazil match she watched. Heck everyone had watched that.

"Ngh!" Mion let out a grunt of pain, as she was knocked off balance and staggered. Whatever Mayu had planned, she'd better bust it out quickly and nail the Queen of Spades!

The charge sent Mion tumbling, and Mayu quickly went after her opponent to grab both if the girl's arms from the front. The short haired girl knew that her lack of physical strength made her charge not enough to knock almost anyone down. Fortunately, she could just use such move to unbalance her opponent and set them up for something else instead, like the one she's planning to do to Mion.

The Queen of Spades was attempting to perform some kind of recovery, but before Mion could even plan of what to do next. She was quite swiftly cut off by Mayu busting out a swift grapple attack, Mion's arms had been moved forward after that shoulder charge. So it was all too easy for the other M girl to grab her.

"Aah!" Mion shouted out, her world going upside down briefly. Before landing hard on the mat once again, a grunt of pain escaping from the Queen of Spades. Mayu could do pretty much anything here, as she had the height advantage at this point.

"Hi-yaaah!"

Mayu's cry was followed with a thud as she flipped Mion to the mat with her judo throw. Now that her opponent was down on the ground, it seemed that she had a chance to gain control of the match. The short haired girl would then flip Mion onto her front, so she could lay her back on one side of her opponent's to keep her grounded. Her plan from there was to take an arm of Mion and bend it upward slightly before securing it with her arms, trapping her opponent with the armpit lock, also known as Ude-hishigi-waki-gatame.

Mion was reeling from that previous attack, it seemed that the Queen of Spades was too used to taking on brawlers in back alleyways. Because Mayu wasn't brawling, this was controlled and professional. The kind of fighting style she used, and that was why she was in such a bad spot. As Mion knew she was in trouble, but she'd taken so much of a beating that the Queen of Spades was unable to get back into it.

"Nggnnnnnn!" Mion gritted out as her arm got cranked into an armpit lock, it'd been sometime since she had seen or done this move herself. Her Father taught it to her, part of the Judo training he gave to the Queen of Spades.

Mion was running low on gas, she pounded the mat with her other hand. Not to tap out, but rather just for the sake of it. The Queen of Spades would attempt to crawl her way to the nearest ropes, but if Mayu could keep control of the hold. She'd be getting close to winning the match.

"Give it up, Mion-san!" Mayu urged her opponent, trying to keep the hold tight despite her opponent's movement, but not to an extend that it'd cause unbearable pain.

This kind of move could produce some unwanted result if it's done by amateurs after all. Mayu had used it a couple days prior to her AFW career, and here as well a few times. The short haired girl would try to hold on for a few more seconds to see whether Mion could force the rope break or not. Even if the girl didn't give up, she had no interest to prolong the torturous hold too much. At least she would have done some serious damage to that arm.

The pain in Mion's arm might not have been unbearable, but considering the major toll her body had gone through in this match. It certainly did feel painful, her fingers twitched through the leather gloves on her fingers. Mion's sweating body was trying in vain to get over to the ropes, but after the moves she took the Queen of Spades wasn't in much shape to go any further.

With one eye shut and her lips contorted into a wince, Mion would attempt to drag herself just a little bit further. But she didn't get very far, and slumped down and looked to the side.

After a couple of seconds, Mion would let out another grunt of pain and tiredness. "Ngh, okay you got me! I give! I give!" Mion gritted out of her teeth, using her free arm to pound the mat with her palm a couple of times. The Queen of Spades was defeated here, Mion had a feeling that this would occur. A niggling thought in the back of her head, after seeing the tapes of Mayu's matches.

Once Mayu let go of Mion, the Queen of Spades would roll over. Wincing from the pain on her arm, she knew it'd heal. Her black hair sticking to her forehead, her eyes somewhat shut from the blinding lights. Her belly taking breaths in and out.

Mayu almost let go of Mion's arm when the girl finally gave up and tapped the mat, much to her delight. She released her opponent right away and rolled over to her hands and knees, smiling as the bell rang. It's good to come back in the ring with a win. Adjusting her breath a little, the short haired girl raised herself to her feet, her expression was cheerful as the ref raised her arm to declare her the winner. The roaring of the crowds was something she had missed a little, Mayu had to admit.

"Eheh! I did it!" she announced gleefully, savoring her victory briefly before turning around to Mion to check on the girl. "That was good fight, Mion-san! You alright?"

Offering her hand, Mayu would help Mion to get up if the girl accepted it. Hopefully there's no hard feeling between them since they're just doing their job.
