Fulfilling Obligations

Natasha wasn't thrilled with how Azami rolled her eyes dismissively at her warning about Lukretia, her comment about not understanding how she would benefit not a surprising one given it had only benefited her thus far. "Its not always possible to know with her Azami" she said softly so as not to let the woman in the next room overhear her, "but just watch out okay, its not a question of if she wants something more from you but when she will collect."

She then sighed and took another drink before continuing. "You know what its about already I'm guessing so no need to beat around the bush. I had planned to cash in on Marisa at Summer Splash but Lukretia gave me a choice, either I could collect on Marisa and then face you right after or wait to collect on you after you had been through your match with Marisa. I refused to do that to you and now here I am, with only a few months on my contract and no other option but to face you for the title or to give up on my dream entirely."

"Well, I never expected things to turn out this way either..." Azami sighed too.

Things regarding the contract were a bit more complicated than what she expected. It's not like she could just refuse to step into the ring against Marisa after Lukretia announced her name, though. Well, she could, but how long would it be before she would get another chance like that? Azami didn't really think about Natasha and the contract when she agreed to the match, but now that things had settled down, it kinda seemed like it could lead to a big mess. For Natasha, at least.

"Then you can face me for the title," she shrugged. "If you want... It's not like there's a big difference being defeated by Marisa or by me, isn't it?" she stuck her tongue to tease Natasha, trying to lighten the mood for a bit.

It seemed Azami enjoyed the situation they had found themselves in just as much as she did, that was to say she didn't like it in the least. For whatever reason things had turned out this way, whether it was from Lukretia's scheming or just bad luck on their parts, there was now a decision that had to be made and thankfully Azami didn't seem to be bothered too much by the idea of her friend coming for her title.

"That simple huh? I guess I was expecting you would be hurt with me aiming to take the belt away from you, but perhaps I was underestimating you." She said sullenly before laughing softly at Azami's little jest. "Well Marisa and I had a rained out match to finish...but so long as you won't be mad with me winning the belt from you then I guess there won't be any hard feelings right?"

"There shouldn't be... as long as you're prepared to lose as well," Azami chuckled at Natasha's words.

Being a champion meant she could be challenged by anyone, friends and foes alike. Azami was aware of that much. Natasha had been working her ass hard to get the title, and after their triple thread match, she was actually convinced that the girl could finally get it. Lukretia probably always had a way to spoil everyone's plan, but fortunately, Azami rarely planned her career too far. The match with Natasha was bound to be an interesting one, title match or not, so she was always happy to face her fellow blue haired girl in the ring.

Natasha let out a sigh of relief as she leaned back against the couch, feeling as if a great weight had been lifted off of her chest allowing her to breathe easily for the first time in weeks. She wasn't sure what she had expected Azami to say but now that she was there she couldn't imagine why she had thought this might have gone differently. A zami had always come off to her as someone who liked the challenge of a hard match and whether she won or lost, no matter the stakes, she was happy just to have experienced it. She reminded Natasha of herself in that way, back before she had won the contract, and perhaps how she should aim to be again.

Her thoughts however returned to the German woman sitting in the next room, no doubt listening in to see how things were progressing. "Azami. ..it's fine to collect on your bet with her but be careful, I'm telling you there's more she wishes to gain from you besides an enjoyable night alone, trust me."

"Don't worry about that, Natasha-chan," Azami chuckled. " I can take care of myself."

She'd like to think that her fellow blue haired girl was probably just being a bit paranoid considering her beef with the general manager. A part of her knew that Natasha had her point, though, as she herself had experienced a glimpse of Lukretia's wickedness tonight. So far, it's nothing really harmful, though, and she doubted that will change until they day was over. At least she hoped so.

"Anything else you'd like to talk about?"

Natasha could see her words weren't going to convince Azami that it would be best to just ask Lukretia to leave, the realization causing her to lower her chin and avert her gaze for a moment. The memory of what she had let slip during their match the previous Avalanche, where she had all but proclaimed Azami should be with her instead of Janet, still stuck with her and Natasha didn't dare pretend she had a right to tell Azami how to go about her business. All she could do was what she had done, offer a warning and hope she would listen, too bad it hadn't worked.

"I know you can Azami-chan." Natasha said using the Japanese honorific to remind Azami this was her friend talking to her and not the number one contender for her belt. "But Lukretia plays a different game than you do and she does it well, keep an eye out okay?"

Natasha sighed and shook her head as she rose to her feet, placing the now nearly empty glass upon the table in front of her before turning towards the door. "It looks like I have overstayed my welcome already, wouldn't want to keep you from your prize any longer." She said knowing immediately she sounded condescending or at the very last upset with Azami but it was too late to remedy that. "Unless theres anything you'd like to ask of me."

"Yes, yes, I'll remember that," Azami just smiled at Natasha's insistence to keep an eye for Lukretia before the girl eventually got off the couch to head towards the door. "Oh, there's no such thing, for you Natasha-chan, you know that," she laughed softly while getting up as well to escort Natasha to the door. "You'll always be welcomed here."

Perhaps Natasha had a point and Lukretia was scheming something for her and her fellow blue haired girl. Yet, Azami still felt that the girl was just being a bit too paranoid. As far as Azami was concerned, she didn't really see how things could go south for her. Perhaps the general manager would try setting her up against someone stronger in a title match or something, but then again that'd be just business.

Natasha had asked if there was anything more Azami wanted of her hoping the woman would ask that she stay, to spend the night with her while she sent Lukretia on her way. Of course they would be joined by Janet who was still waiting outside but Natasha felt such a connection to both women she didn't mind sharing Azami at all with Janet. However Azami did not ask her to stay and instead led her to the door, telling her she would always be welcome there but it seemed at least for this night Azami preferred to keep other company than her, a fact Natasha took hard.

"Thanks for listening Azami." She said with much of her earlier emotion gone from her voice, sounding almost monotone in her delivery before she opened the door and stepped outside. "See you around." Natasha said before heading over to her car trying to think of what she would tell Janet who was no doubt expecting them to all spend the night together.

Azami just smiled at Natasha as she watched the girl left her apartment room. She let out a sigh after closing the door and stayed there for a bit, leaning her back against it. That was a rather awkward moment between her and Natasha, and she was kinda glad that nothing really happened between them. She slowly walked to her kitchen to get herself more water, giving herself a bit of time to think too before she went back to her bedroom where Lukretia was waiting.

It's very likely for the domme to eavesdropped their conversations, although Azami would act normally as she entered her bedroom. A pleasant smile decorated her face as she's looking forward to enjoy the rest of her day with Lukretia. As much as she'd like to spend more time with Natasha, it's not everyday she'd get the general manager for herself like this, so her fellow blue haired girl would have to wait for it.

"Well, shall we continue, Lukretia-san?"
