Breaking the Tension! Episode 1: The Takeuchi Siblings

If Patty had a bullshit detector, that little speech would have voided the warranty.

In a manner of speaking, he wasn't wrong, though Patty hesitated to use the word 'right'. The company thrived on these sorts of feuds - without them, it would just be a bunch of endless fights. These things generated ratings and got the people talking around their watercoolers.

"A fair point." She allowed, stepping off to the side. "Though one that certainly won't make you popular with your fellow wrestlers. People in the business are well known for holding a grudge over a long period of time, and things have a way of coming back to bite people eventually. Aren't you worried about making too many enemies in your time with the AFW? You've already made a couple in your short time, and it seems like you'll be making a few more."

The interview which was going longer than he expected but he didnt mind it at this point, he was giving clear answers and perhaps he could even gain new opponents to wrestle if they ever saw this interview on TV and thought to challenge Daisuke. The next question made Daisuke chuckle a bit, he never did seem to care about what the other wrestlers thought about him.

He shook his head and then continued " Patty,Patty,Patty.....*Sigh*. Look around, I have a huge mansion, I have money, I have influence, Im good looking, Im the best wrestler....Do you really think I really care about what those losers think? or do you really think im scared of what they might do, or if they hold a grudge against me? Hahaha! Pfft...yeah right" he said, laughing arrogantly a bit.

*Sound of footsteps*

"Ummmm, is this like....like...like a tv interview?" ????? said. Someone walked behind from where the camerawoman stood. It was Ami takeuhci, but.....prettied up Ami, her skin was looking flawless with makeup around the cheek, black eyeliner and a hint of pink lipgloss. She was wearing a green halter top, with her expensive lacey pink bra showing a bit from that cleavage while wearing skin tight blue jeans. She had a surprised loon on her face, her index finger on her chin as she pouted a bit.

"Oh um, Im so ditsy and like an airhead clutz around the camera eecckk" she started to act all cutesy and Moe infront of the camera.

Patty was an expert journalist, but even those vaunted skills could only get so far. She had exhausted her quiver with him ran completely out of ammunition...but maybe that wasn't so bad. She could work a decent video out of that, at least fifteen minutes with the right editing. But she wanted feature length. She wanted to hit the sweet spot, break the twenty minute mark. She needed some padding. She needed a miracle. She needed...Daisuke's sister.

Perfect.

Patty quickly ignored Daisuke and moved to the real attraction - this would definitely bump the hits up with the male audience. She would have to make sure Ami appeared on the thumbnail. She'd break the 10,000 mark on the fist day, guaranteed.

"Ami Takeuchi!" She stood next to Ami, making sure to get her cleavage in the middle of the shot. "So good of you to join us. People are just dying to get a few words from the other half of Tension's hottest new tagteam."

Daisuke felt a bit embarrassed as the spotlight was taken away from him, by none other than his own little sister. As the cameras and Patty moved to capture Ami's beauty and looked to chat away with her instead. He looked on and could barely contain his laughter as he watched his sister act all cutesy and moe infront of the camera. He used this opportunity to quietly slip away from them and head outside of the mansion.

The camera was facing Ami as Patty had a few questions for her as well, the camera lens was focusing on her cleavage and a hint of her expensive lacey bra was showing as well. She pouted with her eyes wide opened as she gazed on the camera lens with her finger on her chin and her knees bent slightly. "Ooooooh wow, im on TV! Is this live?*giggle* she said as she looked back towards Patty.

After hearing Patty's question she stood up straight and looked up on the ceiling and thought about the answer with her hips swaying a bit. " Ummm, welll lets see....to ALLLLLLL my faithful,lovely,adorable fans out there! Ami-chan shall not disappoint you *giggle, whether in wrestling or my photo shoots *giggle* she said spinning around and ending the pose by putting her left hand on her hip and her right hand sticking out with a V for victory sign, all with a cute smile.

She didnt like going through this act....but she had to! part of her modelling agency contract she had to act all cutesy and moe, she couldnt let videos of her real bitchy self disappoint her fans.

Patty caught Daisuke getting away with her keen eye, but whatever. She didn't need him anymore - she had sex appeal, now, and what was more, she had sex appeal on the bottom half of her video. That meant viewers would have to watch most of her video to see Ami, which would go a long way to bolstering the video and getting her more of that sweet, sweet ad revenue.

Patty giggled along with her, making sure to get her girlish bounce on as she did. She didn't quite have the model assets that Ami had, but she thought her frame was quite pleasing to the eye. Plus, she had pigtails. The guys loved the pigtails.

"Let's talk about that transition, Ami." She brought the microphone to her face, starting the interview proper. "Some say this is a foolish career move for you - after all, wrestling and modeling are diametrically opposed professions. As a wrestler, you're bound to take on injuries that could hurt your flawless figure. Wrestlers get cut up all the time, on purpose and by accident. Aren't you at least a little bit concerned that you're modeling career might suffer?"

Unlike her older brother Ami had no problem infront of the camera due to her modelling career. She was quite use to the media people around her and the lights,cameras shinning on her. Though usually it was just flashes of pictures and videos and not much interviews but she was prepared to answer a few questions here and there, as long as she could keep her cool it shouldnt be too hard.

She smiled towards Patty as she giggled along with her and even did that girlish bounce. In her mind Ami looked on with disgust "Urgh...is this tramp for real?" she thought to her self but kept her real persona well under control. She smiled and nodded to her question as she began to answer. " Ummmmm.....well lets see. I wouldnt worry about getting hurt I suppose, I did some training with my brother when we were younger, not too much but I can hold my own *giggle* she paused for a moment and winked to the camera and struck a pose.

" Well I guess Ami-chan has to be super-doper-extra specially careful not to injure herself or have nasty cut on her pretty face, for her fans ofc *smiles widely*". In truth Ami didnt really like her modelling life, she had the looks and the figure but she just couldnt keep the whole cutesy act up- a switch in her career which could potentially damage her modelling career would be welcomed.

Ran zoomed in on Ami as she winked and posed - there. There was the money, the right thumbnail. She would put that one up on http://www.tensionpro.com, maybe even get a front page article, and the cash would flow in like milk and honey.

Also... "Did you just say 'ofc' out loud?" Patty blinked, hardly believing she heard spoken internet speak. Who talked like that, really?

Her lapse in journalistic professionalism was short-lived, however, as she refocused and stood straight once again. Easy fix in post, nothing to worry about. "Injuries are a part of the business, I'm afraid - sooner or later, they happen. But I wish you the best luck in pushing them back as far as possible - with your brother's help, of course." Not OFC!

"What you said about training intrigues me, however." She rubbed her chin and patted Ami on the back, stepping closer into the shot. "You said you trained when you were younger? How long have you had this transition in mind?"

Ami frowned and panicked and looked around in fake confusion, her knees shaking a beat as she began to scratch the back of her head. "Oh oh...sowie, was I not supposed to? wahh! I can be so stupid sometimes " she said in a whiney tone. Patty continued on and wished her luck on her injury free career but took a swipe at her on the way, Ami got pissed off at that last comment but she had to keep her frustration hidden and pretended she never heard that last comment. " Wow! thanks alot Panny" she said, trying to take some revenge by intentionally getting Patty's name wrong.

She shook her head on the next part of the question, "Yeah I trained a bit from the ages of 13-16, I kind of always looked up to my brothers, they both became pro wrestlers and I felt kind of left out.....so I knew at that time, I wanted to do that! do what my brothers are" she said said pointing at the camera with her right hand, her left hand on her hip.

Panny? Was that a glib remark? An attempt at humor? Panny wasn't even a real nickname! Just as well - she could be snide all she wanted to, but Patty would be laughing all the way to the bank. Which, now that she thought about it, wouldn't mean much because the money she would make off this video wouldn't be a fraction of the money Ami farted off in a week. But still, it was the thought that counted.

"Ah, yes, Yamato, the most elusive of the Takeuchi siblings." She twirled back around to the camera as Ran moved for another panning shot, stepping up the stairs to get some special angles. "It's nice to see that you're a tight knit family, that you follow in each others footsteps and that you've had this career in mind for a while, giving it some earnest thought. Tell me, do you have long-term plans in this company, especially now that the Tension brand is starting to see new life and fresh talent?"

It would seem like Ami's attempt of getting under Patty's skin pretty much was a FAIL attempt. She felt a bit bitter inside because she couldn't piss the reporter off, but whatever lets move on from subtle insults and get down to the making of the first episode of breaking the tension.

Ami saw the camera filming some of the mansions inside decorations and what not. "It looks like you like our cozy little home *giggle*". Ami had a wide smile during most parts of the interview, she nodded as Patty continued the interview. "Yup,Yup,Yup! we are a tight knit family who look out for each other, although I suppose since im the youngest I have some over protection *giggle " title="Razz" /> . She paused for a moment and began to pout ,taking a few moments to think about it. "Weeeeeeelllllllll I never really thought about it for long term but I really do hope I stick around here. Also, im not just going to participate in tag-matches where my brother is there for me. I want to compete in single matches as well to show I can hold my own. I proved it, by beating....by beating....ummmm...what was his name? she started to wonder with her finger on her chin and a confused look on her face, deliberately of course.
