The Way To A Woman's Heart... (For Alexandra)

No matter how many matches she had fought, no matter how many times she had taken someone down, Angel never got tired of the feeling of her leg slamming into another woman, her kick sending them sprawling to the mat below. The rush of power, the sight of her opponent lying there at her feet...it felt damn good to Angel.

As Carmen went down, Angel stepped forward towards her, putting her hands on her hips and looking down at her with a cocky smirk. <Hardest strike you'll ever feel, period>, she teased, enjoying the sight of Carmen lying below her, rubbing her side in pain. If this had been a real fight, Angel would have already dropping onto her, ready to continue her punishment, and honestly she was tempted. This was just a friendly spar though, she had to remind herself, though secretly she did want to drop down and continue this on the mat.

Another time, perhaps.

She leaned down towards Carmen, taking her hand to help the woman back up to her feet. <Second fall is on me, too, girl. I just hope you're ready for it!>

Carmen could hardly call herself submissive - she was a top, for the most part, liking to be in control, bringing her competitive nature to the bedroom. But the sight of Angel standing above her, so in control, teasing her, a thin sheen of sweat developing...sexy. Deadly sexy.

As fun as this was, Carmen couldn't help but wish for something a little more intimate. Feeling what those legs could really do. Angel was a sex grenade, and she wanted to pull the pin.

Calm down. Cool down.

Carmen gave Angel's hand a firm squeeze as she came up and stepped forward, letting their bodies rub together - if Angel could use their attraction as a weapon, maybe she could, too.

<"Oh, I'm ready."> She stepped back and stretched, flexing and cracking a few bones. She moved into her stance, holding her arms out father this time, a more offense oriented stance. Angel was fast, but defense wasn't the answer - her blows were too strong for that. She needed to drive the fight home, which meant no more turtle-play.

She started to move back and forth, bobbing and weaving to a soundtrack that was only in her head, working back into her rhythm. Carmen had put the pressure on her before, when the match started, working at close range. Getting there again would be hard now that she was throw out those lightning bolts, but it could be done. <"Take me to heaven, Angel.">

Angel yanked Carmen back up to her feet, taking a moment to enjoy the feeling of their bodies rubbing together against each other. She let out a lil' purr towards her fellow Latina, then took a step back from her, falling into a defensive stance of her own, ready to get back into the brawl.

She watched, eyeing Carmen closely as the woman began to bob and move back and forth, taking careful note of her movements. She smirked at the boxer's words, and carefully began to move back in towards her, ready to get round two started.

<Heaven...?> she asked with a light chuckle as she moved in closer, her eyes never leaving Carmen's body. <Didn't anyone tell you? I'm not a heavenly sort of being. I'm the kind of angel that'll bring you on a one way trip to hell...>

With those words, Angel suddenly let out another roar, and once more her leg would fire up towards Carmen. This time, it was a straight kick, aimed right for the boxer's midsection, the Lightning Latina hoping to surprise her with the sudden shift in her tactics.

Carmen's eyes centered on Angel, trying to get a feel for her movements. Getting used to the kicks was difficult, but not impossible. She just had to readjust, learn to read different cues - it was almost like learning a new dialect of a particular language. Quite a few difference, but plenty of similarities, too. At the end of the day, the same philosophy she'd trained in her whole life applied. She could do this.

<"Alone with you in a hot, dark, steamy place."> She did a quick slide from side to side, getting her feet ready. <"I like it.">

The kick came in with Angel's usual speed, hitting Carmen hard in the gut and knocking her back a step, but that wouldn't be enough to keep her on the outskirts. She tanked it as best she could and dashed in, hoping to close the distance before Angel could set up another kick. She threw out a quick punch at Angel's face with her lead hand, but she didn't pull it back - instead, she reached around and tried to grab Angel's head, looking to pull her in. A 'jab and grab', one of her father's favorites.

Angel raised an eyebrow in surprise, as Carmen seemed to shrug off her kick, coming charging in towards her. It looked like Carmen was getting serious. Angel couldn't help but grin at the though, but that grin was quickly washed from her face as Carmen closed the distance between them.

Just like that, Carmen was on top of her, her punch slamming right into Angel's face. She felt her head snapping back as the blow connected, and then felt her head getting pulled back forward again. Not a good position to be in, but Angel wasn't going to just stand there and take it. With a low-sounding snarl, she threw a wild punch of her own towards Carmen, trying to drive her fist into the woman's gut as she was pulled in closer towards her fellow Latina.

Carmen didn't expect Angel to just sit there and take it as she was pulled in - in fact, she looked forward to the struggling. She kept her composure, but she relished the feel of their body's bucking against each other, holding the smaller woman close and tight. This was her range, now, and she'd relish it for so many different reasons.

Being this close neutralized the kicks, but it hardly meant that Angel was defenseless - the woman preferred kicks, clearly, but that didn't mean she couldn't throw punches, too. She threw a wild shot that hit Carmen's abs. Not bad, certainly not the weakest blow she'd ever felt...but not the strongest, either. Not even close. Carmen could take it, letting it smack against her ribs with a dull thud and pushing past the pain.

She tightened the hold and kept Angel close with one hand, while she responded with the other in kind, snaking her arm around and delivering a hard hook right into the little Latina's side - a liver blow. Not the most elegant or stylish move, but just like most everything in boxing, it was damned effective...if she could land it.

Not good. Carmen took Angel's punch and just shrugged it off. Angel should have known better, because of course a damn boxer was going to be good at taking punches.

She grunted, as she felt Carmen tightening up her hold, pulling Angel in closer. Angel responded to her in the most natural way possible, her wrestling instincts taking over as she reached up, grabbing at Carmen's arm to try and pry her hold loose. Unfortunately for the Latina though, this left her wide open, a perfect target for Carmen's liver blow.

As the hook connected into her side, Angel felt her entire body shudder, her arms dropping down as she bent with the force of the blow. Angel wasn't sure what to think. That had been a huge hit, and it hurt. It felt like she couldn't even breathe! She had never fought a boxer before, and while she respected Carmen and knew she would be dangerous, she honestly hadn't been expecting her punches to hurt that damn much. It felt like her body was on fire. She honestly just was not sure what to do, her body going more then a little limp in Carmen's close hold.

*The feeling of landing the liver blow was, as always, a wonderful thing to feel. It was like it just sapped the life out of opponents, and Carmen could speak from personal experience. The first time she got hit with one, it almost felt someone turned off a switch in her body. It didn't just hurt, it took her breath away. Carmen managed to beat the ten-count that night, but by a slim margin - when she hit the mat, she was physically capable of getting up, but the blow simply made her not want to.

So she could sympathize with lovely champion in her arms. She did it all the same, but she sympathized.

Her first instinct was to follow up and batter her around, but she remembered that wasn't necessary. All she needed was a down, and Angel felt like she was halfway there, already. She stepped to Angel's side and planted her foot down behind her, then pushed forward on her lovely chest with her, looking to put the champion on her back with Carmen right on top of her.

Angel leaned into Carmen's embrace, still stunned from that horrible punch to her liver. There wasn't a lot she could do to stop Carmen, and so when the boxer shoved her forwards, Angel had no choice but to drop to the mat, jerking as Carmen fell atop of her, pushing down against her.

Angel panted, feeling her breath quickening as she stared up at Carmen. She had gotten cocky, too much so, and Carmen was able to capitalize on that, getting an easy fall off of her. Not exactly an impressive showing from the Friction champion, but she would make it up in the third round.

<Guess you got me, girl,> she breathed up at Carmen, feeling her chest trying to rise and fall against the boxer as she slowly took in several long, deep breaths, still trying to recover and shake off that liver blow. <Don't think it's happening a second time...>

Carmen would be lying if she said she didn't supremely enjoy being on top of Angel, and not just for the obvious reason. It was only one fall out of three, sure, but the mere fact that she'd been able to bring Angel down gave Carmen a crazy rush, even if it was only temporary. The feel of Angel's lithe body rising and falling beneath her, her hot breath blowing across her face, the look of fire in those eyes. Pushing back her instincts was starting to become a Herculean task.

She flashed a crazy, dangerous smile and pressed her forehead against Angel's, pushing it down. "We'll see. Pretty sure I could just keep you down her for a while, if I really wanted to." She put a bit more of her weight on to Angel before standing up, making sure her leg ran along Angel's crotch as she rose. The silver-haired champion wasn't the only one who could do a little teasing. It was new to Carmen, but she was becoming a fast learner.
