Tiffany vs. Dmitri - East Meets West

Another successful hit - so far, the strategy was bearing fruit. It wouldn't be smooth all the way, he was sure, but the trick was going to be hitting her more than she him. A lot more.

She came at him again, looking ready to tie up, but after that last one went so poorly, he wasn't about to go for it. The first one had been out of tradition and respect, but there was no way he'd go for it a second time. Instead, he came at her with a side kick, looking to hit her in the chest and put her back a few feet, keeping her at his effective distance.

...and he fell right into her trap.

She caught the leg with surprising deftness and immediately twisted it about, sending Dmitri rolling to the side, head over heels, to the side of the ring in a nasty tumble.

Getting to her feet, Tiffany made her way over to Dmitri, considering her next move. Now that she had things slowed down, the cowgirl figured she would just have to start putting her power to use.

"Up and at 'em..." she said to Dmitri.
Reaching down, the American went to grab Dmitri by his arm and pull him up to his feet, while tucking his head under her arm for a front face lock. If she got him into position, Tiffany would take a step back, away from the ropes, before trying to rapidly lift Dmitri up and over with a snap suplex,...
"Alley oop!"

And Tiffany wasn't giving him a minute to catch his breath. Great.

He started to get up, and she helped him with that - helped him right into a front face lock, securing him nice and tight. He struggled in her grasp, but the size and strength difference was just too much - he wasn't getting out of this unless she let him go.

Which she did do, actually. After she'd tossed him a suplex, sure, but she did let him go.

Dmitri landed hard on his back, slapping down on the canvas and immediately trying to roll away, get some distance so he could recoup and regain momentum.

*There, that should take a bit out of him!* Tiffany thought to herself after completing the suplex.
Dmitri rolled away, looking to gain some separation as Tiffany got to her feet.

Squatting slightly, the cowgirl watched as he rolled, waiting for him to get to his feet with a grin. Once he did, assuming that Dmitri didn't roll out of the ring, the Texan would come running at full speed. Although the crowd was thinking that Tiffany was going for a spear, the American was going for a simple football style tackle aimed at getting her arms around the man's ankles and bringing him back down. Although the impact may jar him a bit, it wouldn't hurt as bad as it would if Tiffany had caught him with a spear. But it would have back on the canvas, with Tiffany having a solid grip around his legs....

Not good. Not good, and getting worse by the second.

Dmitri started to stand up, but as soon as he put his feet down she was all over him against, tackling him like they were in an American football game and getting him down with her arms around his legs. He barely knew Tiffany, but even he could tell that having her on top of him was the exact last place he wanted to be...in a match, anyway.

He raised his fists in a double axe handle and jerked forward, trying to hit her in the back and stun her, hopefully give him enough time to squirm out.

Now that she had Dmitri down, Tiffany planned to make use of his lively legs for her own purposes. Mainly has the handholds for a submission hold. Rising up to a squatting position over the man's legs, she began to spread his legs for the beginning stages of a sharpshooter attempt.
"Now sugar, don't be shy, I've seen a few-unngh!" she began. However the Texan's attempt at flirtatious in ring humor was cut short as Dmitri leaned up while she was squatting over him, and hammered her with both fists knotted together. The blow actually caught her on the top of her head, forcing her to release Dmitri and stagger away, to the ropes, a hand to her head....

Dmitri never felt that comfortable just punching girls. Which was a little weird, because he was more or less okay with kicking them. But punching felt more personal. More direct. More brutal. Like it took his mind to a place he really didn't want it to go, and the less time he spent there, the better.

But he also didn't like getting beat up. So when push came to shove...

The axe blow worked like a charm and got her to ease up, and Dmitri rolled back, doing a reverse somersault to get to his feet. He moved back into his ready stance, feet in perfect position and set to strike, giving her a few seconds to recoup and come back at him.

Shaking her head with a grin, the cowgirl nodded as she saw that Dmitri had already made his way back to his feet, and looked poised and ready.
*Well, maybe that leg screw I gave him will make him rethink all those kicks.* she said. *Then again, maybe not, kicking people into submission is a pretty good tactic. I need a way inside....and how ironic would it be...if it was a kick?*

With that, she began striding forward, confidently, almost recklessly, with no apparent guard or stance as she advanced. However, when she reached the halfway point between the two of them, Tiffany would suddenly lunge forward and lash out with a heavy big boot, hoping that the sudden shift in motion would catch him off guard, her foot aimed to impact with his chest....

Dmitri may not have spent too much time in the ring, but he had spent plenty of time on that mats. While never was apart of any big competition, he'd participated in quit a minor tournaments over the years. He only went all the way once, but he always made it far along and brought home his fair share of trophies and accolades. Many hours had gone into perfecting his Tae Kwon Do, sparring with others, learning new moves and working on his form.

Needless to say, Dmitri knew his kicks.

So when Tiffany came at him, he could read her body language and tell what she was about to do. All the signs were there. Foot placement. Body movement. Even the right tension in the muscles told him everything he needed to know. When the boot came at him, right for his chest, he did a timely dodge and squeaked by under it, jumping up quick from behind and wrapping his arm around her neck in a sleeperhold.

"-the hell?!" Tiffany cursed as her kick struck nothing but air as the quicker man evaded her boot.
The cowgirl pitched forward, off balance, managing to catch herself before she could fall. But now she had a burden on sorts.
Dmitri had caught her with a sleeper hold from behind!
"Dammit!" she swore as his arm circled her neck, locking the hold in fully.....
