River Styx vs Riyu Kikuchi - Highs and Lows

This was just a minor setback. Nothing she could deal with. The little bitch got in a lucky shot - just one. That was all. She could get in all the lucky shots she wanted, it wouldn't make a damn day's difference. Riyu wasn't nearly strong enough to give her a scratch.

River started to get up and looking around for Riyu, not finding her to the left. Or the right. And she wasn't on the floor. So that just left... "Shit."

She looked up just in to see Riyu's crotch coming right at her, right before her lithe legs locked around her neck and sent her flying in the hurricanrana, slamming down hard enough to shake the ring. She rolled to knees, just short of falling out of the ring altogether. "Think you're smart, bitch?" She grabbed the top rope, already starting to get up...but a little slower, this time.

Riyu couldn't believe that worked, rolling away from River, as the girl already started to get up.

Moving the nearby turnbuckle, Riyu quickly climbed up and, without even waiting for River to turn around, leaped off of it, kicking both feet out in an attempted missile dropkick, aiming to hit literally any part of River's body that she could!

As it turned out, Riyu hit River right in the chest of all places.

It happened just as the rough renegade was making her way back up to solid feet and turning around, and she took the blow hard in the chest, sending her staggering away and over into the corner, grunting and growling all the way. She wasn't finished just yet, but she was getting a lot closer than she liked to be - it was like Riyu was sucking up all the momentum River'd taken from the start, and was now through it all back in her face.

Riyu landed with a soft thump, looking up in surprise as she realized she had scored a pretty major hit on the bigger girl, forcing air out of her body and driving her into the corner. Riyu smirked, she might actually have this in the bag!

Getting up to her feet, Riyu raced to the corner, mimicking the start of the match as she leaped towards the corner, this time landing feet on the middle rope, standing above River's body, and raising her small fist, bringing it down upon River's head, the crowd counting with each shot!

"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN!"

River had taken quite a punches in her day, almost as many as she gave out. Riyu wasn't bringing anything special to the table. For such a little thing, she threw decent blows. But River had taken far worse. So far, all River was doing was pissing her off. A lot.

She also made the mistake of getting into close range, and River now had a very close target to work with. She had a lot of options, but she decided to go with the most painful - she reached out and squeezed Riyu at the same, holding her close for a tight bearhug and powering down on those tender, little ribs. "Fucking bitch!"
