River Styx vs Riyu Kikuchi - Highs and Lows

River's brow furrowed as Riyu went under the ring, escaping from view. The crowd seemed almost as puzzled as she was.

"Oh, for fuck's sakes, really? Are you serious with this?" She shook her head as the ref started the slow count. "You can stay out there and get counted out, if you want. There's absolutely no reason for me to follow you under the ring. I am not an idiot."

True, she would like to beat Riyu senseless, but she wasn't about to follow the green-haired rabbit down her hole just to do it. She seemed intent on at least putting up some semblance of a fight, she would have to come back in at some point.

Under the ring, Riyu looked at her options, knowing she only had a few seconds at best, with the count still going on. Under the ring was plenty of equipment the ring crew used to build and take down the ring. Grabbing a heavy tool of some kind, Riyu unable to actually see the item in the dark, she moved herself to a corner and threw the object past the apron and listened as it smacked against the barricade.

Riyu was lucky, the noise would attract her opponents attention, allowing Riyu to catch her by surprise. It was hardly an original plan, but who knew, perhaps her opponents apathy would prevent her from thinking about it too much, working in Riyu's favor.

The crowd started booing. River started not giving a shit.

She hadn't come to entertain them. If they wanted entertainment, they could come and watch some bitch masturbate in the middle of the ring, or whatever would be happening in the next match. No, she was here to do one thing and one thing only - win. And if winning just entailed standing in the ring and enjoying a cigarette while her opponent diddle under the mat, well, she could live with that. No problem.

She had just started to light up when a noise caught her attention - something metal hit the barricade. Had the girl ran out in the audience or something? She sauntered over and hopped out of the ring, seeing the wrench laying there. Just...laying there. "...the fuck?"

Eureka! Success!

With River distracted by the shiny metal thing, Riyu was free to slip out from under the ring and slide under the ropes to get back inside.

Back in the ring, Riyu grabbed the ropes and leaped up to the top, springing off the ropes and outside of the ring, aiming to smash her body into the larger River's from behind!

Okay, clearly - clearly - this was some sort of trick. That much was patently obvious. To what end, though? That was the question.

She looked around, trying to find Riyu, figuring she had scampered off somewhere. The truth was that she need not have even bothered doing a search - Riyu was coming to her. Straight to her from above.

She heard the crowd roar and turned, just as the mighty mite was coming down on her. All River had time to do was look up, mouth agape and eyes aghast, as Riyu crashed down on her. She barely weighed anything, but even that small weight was dangerous with gravity backing up. It was more than enough to put River on her back.

A dive like that would have normally hurt the smaller girl, but River's body proved large enough to provide a decent cushion between the green haired girl and the ground, the crowd cheering at her daring move.


Getting up, the referee's count having restarted, Riyu moved to the fan barricade, slapping her hands on the thick and wide top, before climbing onto top of the barricade, watching and waiting. When River rose up, Riyu would run along the barricade before leaping off, trying to smash her body into the bigger girls again!

River hit the ground with an unceremonious crash, her legs flopping into the air as she went. That move was actually gutsy, more than she would have figured for Riyu. The little pixie had seemed like such a straight bitch when they started this match, and she couldn't imagine where all this fire was coming. Not that it was wholly unwelcome. A little pain would be worth it, if it kept this match from getting too dull.

She started to get up and draw her senses back, but before she could even get all the way up, she heard the pitter-patter of little feet from behind. She turned around as Riyu came flying at her, bringing them both to the floor in a heap, with the wastrel on top of her.

"Fuck off!" River let out a sharp growl and tried to throw an angry punch up before Riyu could get away.

Riyu had just started getting to her feet when River's fist sank into her belly, blowing air out of the girls mouth as she bent over, still on her feet, trying to back away from the bigger girl, aiming to get to the apron and roll into the ring before she could be caught.

"Ugh!"

And sure enough, the little bitch was trying to get away before Styx could drop the hammer on her. Guerrilla tactics, hit and run, trying to wear River out and make her fall, one blow at a time. Smart. It wouldn't work, but smart.

She reached after Riyu as she scrambled away, trying to catch her by the leg. "Stay a while."

Riyu had just gotten onto the apron, her front half under the ropes, when River grabbed one of her legs.

"Eeep!"

Riyu let out a loud squeak, trying to kick back towards River with her free leg, trying to escape if she could.
