Jade Hawk vs Silver Ace

Silver Ace shook herself as her [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqFBPdpv9yA&feature=kp:27cga3es]music[/url:27cga3es] played, heading out onto the entrance ramp. The crowd gave her its usual neutral response, something that was irking the girl more and more these days. Moving down the ramp, she moved a bit slower, holding her side a bit as pain, her ribs taped, thanks to that brutal attack by her first tournament opponent, Jocelyn. While Ace had another tournament match coming up, she had been booked for this match first. The tape even forced an outfit change, her normal black and red dress changed to a shorter version that only came down to her stomach, where she was taped up to protect her ribs.

She didn't know much about her opponent, only that she was part of a group that had been taken AFW by storm, attacking Taylor Parker and Tension Champ John Mitchel. Ace was wary about the possibility of being attacked,especially with her ribs not healed up, but as a precaution, her mentor/girlfriend, Valley Doll, who had been giving Ace tips backstage, had agreed to stand by the curtain, ready to come out if Ace was in danger.

For now though, Ace just paced lightly, waiting for her opponent.

Valley really did not like this.

She didn't want to be 'that' sort of girlfriend. Not the controlling, domineering bitch. She'd had a boyfriend like that, back in high school, drove her nuts. Clingy. Possessive. Always trying to keep up with everything she did. Trying to dictate who she could and could not be around. Strict schedule, ridiculous restrictions. Worst two weeks of her life.

Ace was a grown woman, and she should've been treated like one. So even though she thought the idea of taking a match like this was a terrible idea, especially after what had happened at the Cup, she would be around to support Ace, regardless.

But she was doing it with a baseball bat.

For now, she just hid in the shadows, wearing her jeans and a dark hoodie, as close to stealth as she could get.

Hawks theme song blasted through the arena and the green haired lightweight came walking out with confidence in the form of her partner and ringside cheerleader Lioness. Both were wearing their matching two piece dark tights. Hawk had her Jade colored outfit and Lioness her dark gold. But the most noticeable element of their costume were the masks.

Hawk walked down the ramp and slid into the ring. This was her first real match and all the preparation in the world wouldn't have made the butterflies in her stomach go away. Even having her teammate nearby didn't make things much better. Silver Ave had played with big names already and this was her chance to do the same. And she knew just how to do it. Dragon told her in advance just what to do. Exploit those injuries. And Hawk had every intention to do just that.

She looked across the ring at Silver Ace. She was much taller than Hawk but it didn't discourage her. She'd been small her whole life and was use to size disadvantages. It came with the profession at this point. She waited for the bell to the ring while leaning against the turnbuckle.

Ace cocked her head as Jade and Lioness arrived, with their interesting outfits and odd masks, carefully eyeing the girls as the smaller one entered the ring, revealing herself as her opponent while the bigger woman waited outside the ring.

When the bell rang, Ace stepped to the center of the ring, raising her hands up in a defensive stance, mindful of the fact that even one misstep could cost her. A girl Hawk's size had to be fast, maybe even faster than Ace herself, and she would certainly be looking to take advantage of her injury.

"Alright....come on..."

When the bell rang, Hawk immediately jumped out of her corner and circled around the edges of the ring. She kept her eyes focused on the larger wrestle but didn't get close enough to actually get in range. There wasn't much room to capitalize on her agility with how defensive Ace was being. She wasn't going to make this easy.

The green haired girl jumped in with her arms high in a makeshift quick grapple. But she was smarter than that. As she got closer to make the grab, she ducked down, passed behind Ace and delivered a quick two kicks to her ribs making no attempt to hide what her goal was.

Ace reached out towards the green haired girl as she appeared to go in for a grapple, only gasp in surprise as she suddenly darted down and around her. Ace was right, the girl was very fast! The kicks came rapidly, two hard strikes to Ace's taped ribs, staggering the silver haired girl to her side.

"grr...so that's how it is then!?"

She yelled, swinging her right leg out in a wide half circle, trying to catch Hawk if she was still close, or at least drive her back, though the pain in her ribs would dampen her speed. It was painfully clear now how this fight would play out, Ace needing to find some way to end this fast.

The pained groans from Ace fueled Hawk's confidence. As the silver haired girls leg swung around to repel her, Hawk ducked underneath once more and launched herself shoulder first up and into her opponent's midsection. She wrapped her arms around Ace's body to prevent her from backing off. She then continued the calculated assault with additional knee shots to her opponents ribs. "Just be thankful your face wasn't injured last match!" Hawk growled to Ace through her teeth.

"Shit!"

Ace cursed as Jade got in close, holding herself tight against the young girl and throwing hard knee's up to her ribs, each shot electing a pained cry from Ace's lips, as she swung her elbow, trying to connect with Hawks head and shake the girl off of her, each shot doing adding more and more damage to Ace's body and weakening her resolve.

"Getoff!"

Ace's elbow struck Hawk in the head. She staggered but held onto her opponent for dear life. Even though Ace wasn't incredibly powerful, the size difference really mattered with direct strikes like that last one. She put one foot down hard onto the mat and shoved Ace over it to trip her down to the mat in an attempt to disorient her so she could continue her targeted assault. When they fell to the mat, Ace continued driving her knee into the injured girl's side.

Ace let out a frustrated yelp as she was tripped to her back, this Hawk girl simply unyielding, Ace unable to shake her off. Raising her legs, she caught one of Hawks legs and held it still, as she tried to bring her elbow down on top of Hawks head, sending an elbow for every knee to the ribs she took, though it wouldn't take long before the pain in her ribs got to her in a big way, causing her to let out loud, pained, cries at each one, her own elbow attacks slowing and her grip on Hawks other leg weakening.

"E-Enough with my damn ribs bitch!"
