Santa Tigresa vs. Kia Manaputo [debut match]!

The young woman known as Santa Tigresa, inheritor of a legendary wrestling title, was seated behind the gorilla area, listening to the rush of the crowd as she prepared herself for competition. Taking one last, long drag off of a water bottle, Tigresa stood, and prepared to enter the ring. She hadn't been in Japan long, but old friends of her mother's had pulled some strings to make her AFW debut happen as quickly as possible. Tonight would be the Tigresa's introduction to the world at large, and she wanted more than anything to make certain it would be a good one.

Stepping out onto the entrance ramp, Tigresa's ears took in the full brunt of the pyrotechnics, and her music blaring on the loudspeakers. She dropped to one knee, crossed her chest, and offered up a quick salutation of faith. She hoped that God would be with her in this match, helping her to give the folks back home a performance to be proud of. Leaping to her feet, the Tigresa bounced on her heels, before making her way down the entrance ramp. Her body strained slightly, against her wrestling tights, reminding her that she still wasn't quite in ideal shape to compete. Still, as she gave enthusiastic high-fives to the fans crowding the barricade, La Santa dedicated herself to giving her all to them, certain that her training would see her through to the victory, tonight.

Reaching the ring, Santa Tigresa pulled herself up to the ring ropes, raised her arms, and posed for the cheering fans. Santa fully extended her arms, flexing every muscle that she could, showing off a muscular physique that seemed to defy her curvy frame. As she did so, Santa tried her best to put thoughts of her legacy out of her head. Tried not to think about all of the people she needed to deliver a spectacular match to, tonight. Santa simply watched the entrance ramp, waiting for her opponent, trying to prepare herself for anything that might lie ahead.

Kia had not had a great career so far in the AFW. She had many many losses without a single win as of yet. She was sitting backstage, making sure that she looked ok in the mirror. She made sure that she looked presentable, that her body was curved and slender, not very muscular though. When she was ready she would walk out onto the ramp. Her theme would blare out of the speakers and she would begin the long strut down to the ring. She would climb into the ring she. She got close, listening and lapping up the cheering from the crowd. She would make sure she was ready with some stretches before talking to her new opponent.

"So they have pitted me against a old woman with some flubber. Only thing i have to worry about is you mistaking me for a cake and eating me instead of fighting me" She would dona few more stretches and do a few a few shadow punches to show off how much trouble this old woman was in. "You really think you can keep up with me. I am going to destroy you and leave you stripped naked in the centre of the ring so everyone can see you. Welcome to the AFW bitch"

Stretching against the corner of the ring, Tigresa watched her opponent making her way to the ring. She couldn't help but be a bit intimidated by the younger girl, looking to slender and fit, but she'd expected to be put in situations like this, coming to AFW. If nothing else, Santa told herself, she'd have a bit of a power advantage over her slip of an opponent.

Listening to the girl's taunts, however, immediately changed Santa's attitude. Her face flushed red as Kia mocked her, the young girl's disrespect cutting the luchadora to the quick. Self-consciously, the Tigresa stood stock-straight, suddenly very aware of how her wrestling attire hugged her curves. She strode directly over to Kia, trying to stare the smaller girl down. "Chica," she stated coldly, "You've got some real worries, tonight. When I get my hands on you, I am going to be beating some respect into that snotty little face, of yours. I won't just keep up with you, I'll be running circles around you. It seems you need a lesson in humility, little girl, and I'm just the teacher to give it to you." Santa hoped she sounded tough, but Kia's threats had gotten under her skin, a bit. Silently, she prayed that her debut match in AFW wasn't going to be a mistake. Turning her attention to the ref girl, Santa Tigresa waited for the opening bell.

Kia let out a somewhat of a mischievous grin when she saw how the words she spoke had gotten under the older woman's skin. She would stare up at her as she spoke, never breaking contact with her. "Maybe you should just ya know, retire. You will be getting your pension soon enough" Kia would grin again and as soon as she finished the bell gave a clear ring to signal the start of the match.

Kia wanted to get the first attack in. She knew how the first attack always sets the pace foe the rest of the match. She would launch her attack by launching her barefoot upwards, almost vertically in the air, towards the woman's Jaw. Nothing did damage like a good kick, and since her opponent was alot heavier than her she was going to need every advantage she could get. Getting trapped with this woman in the corner could devastate her

Kia seemed rather brash in her taunting, which worried Santa. Were all of the women in AFW so disrespectful? Still, the Tigresa couldn't help but bristle at the pension comment, and lost focus for a moment. She heard the ring bell signal the opening of the match, but she was far from ready.

As the cross latina moved forward, ready to badmouth Kia in return, she suddenly noticed the girl shifting her weight to her foot. "You- Wait, what-?" was all she was able to exclaim, up until Kia's foot shot upwards, connecting solidly with Tigresa's jaw. Tigresa cried out in pain at the contact, unable to counter at such a close distance, and stumbled backwards onto the rope. Dizzy after taking a straight shot to the head, Tigresa leaned back, and tried to catch her breath. This girl was obviously determined to win, but the Tigresa knew she could hardly just let her debut match in AFW be a squash. Thinking of her fans back home, she tried to gather herself, and prepare for whatever move Kia would attempt next.

Kia would let out a triumphant "ha" When her kick connected. She was really happy to get the first hit of the match in. After watching certain matches she was in agreement that it was really important to make sure that first hit was yours. From her experience the first hit generally decided who the attacker and the defender was for the rest of the match. Sure the roles reversed, but a good combo of opening hits always put you in an advantageous position. Eager to keep the initiative Kia would dart again towards the older woman. Kia knew that throws here would be pointless, there was no way she could shift her that way, but she had a plan. She would charge forward and once she was getting closer she would jump up and stick both of her out, trying to go for a double foot dropkick, aiming primarily for the area just below the chest but above the stomach.

Either way Kia was going to land on the mat. If it worked hopefully the older woman would be in too much pain to do anything, however it turned out that older woman had a trick up her sleeve then it also meant that Kia could be in serious trouble, this woman was the sort of woman that you dint want ontop of you.

Still reeling from that blow to the jaw, Tigresa tried to collect herself enough to get her bearings for the next exchange. She knew the girls of AFW would be aggressive and high-energy, but she still wasn't prepared for how hard Kia was coming on, now. Santa was trying hard (and not entirely succeeding) to keep herself from being intimidated by her opponent's youth and fitness. The luchadora was no slouch herself, of course, but it was hard to feel confident when she couldn't stop focusing on having to keep up with such a fit and perky opponent.

Unfortunately, Santa Tigresa was too caught up in her own thoughts to mount any kind of defense, as Kia jumped into the air for the dropkick. Feeling the younger wrestler's boots collide hard with her ribs, Tigresa let out a loud, involuntary cry, as her body came crashing down to the mat. Flat on her back, Tigresa massaged her ribs, trying her best to work through the pain, hoping that she'd have an opportunity soon to get back into the match ...

Kia was doing rather well for herself. After connecting the last two hits together almost flawlessly it seemed that Kia might actually be able to score a actual win. That was however a long way away. At the moment Kia's biggest concern was trying to put some hurt on this girl before it was too late. Kia would get onto her hands and knees and roll the other women onto her stomach. Kia would then proceed to sit atop the bottom of the women's back. Kia would then lean forward and wrap both her hands around the women's chin, before brutally pulling back with all her might to try and get her bigger opponent into a camel clutch

"Why are you doing wrestling anyway? You are way to old and it shows. You really needed to leave and do something else, your passed your shelf life about 20 years ago!"

The Tigresa let out a little cry of pain, as she felt her belly make contact with the mat. As embarrassing as it was, Kia was thoroughly dominating their match in the opening minutes. The younger girl's taunts made her grit her teeth, putting the Tigresa on edge. More than anything, the luchadora knew she was going to have to prove she could keep up with the competition, regardless of how much younger she was.

"I'll- I'll show you!" Tigresa grunted, as Kia mocked her. She could feel her opponent settling on top of her, her muscular thighs pressing down on Tigresa's back, keeping her trapped on the mat. She grunted and moaned, Kia's hold putting a great deal of strain on her spine. "There's no ... No way I'll submit to you ..." she muttered, Desperately, the Tigresa tried to work her arms over Kia's knees, hoping she could free them, attempting to give herself a chance at earning her freedom and turn this match around.

While Kia was grateful for what had happened so far, she knew that there had to be a point where Tigeresa would fight back. It had to happen eventually. Kia would keep putting pressure in the woman's spine until she started to feel pain in her knees. She would quickly abandon the hold and roll off to the side, waiting for a few seconds, before attempting to get up. It was vital she was up before Tigresa, if she was able to get up before her Tha. She would be in serious trouble. If she was able to get up early she would take a few steps back towards the centre of the ring. There was no way that she was going to let Tigresa get away with a last second charge.

Kia would tense her body when she finally arrived at the centre of the ring, trying to turn her body into stone. She knew trying to remain flexible would allow her to dodge incoming attacks but if one hit it would do stupid damage to her. At least this way while she wouldn't be able to dodge as easy she could try and prepare her body for the blow and minimise the damage.
