They Might Be Giants (for Kerflubble)

Barda took a deep breath - and found that she couldn't exhale. Having the arm of a super-strong warrior woman around your neck tends to make breathing hard. Imagine that.

Barda's first instinct was to panic; squirming about in Rebecca's hold, vainly pulling at her mighty arm...but that clearly wasn't getting her anywhere but tired and knocked out, two places she certainly did not want to go. This was a test, this was training - it was all about how she handled these situations, learing to use her assets to full effect.

Planting her feet, Barda started to rise up to her full length, making sure she had a solid foundation as she pushed, going higher and higher, threatening to even take Rebecca off her feet and leave her dangling.

Rebecca took a deep breath as Barda started to rise in the hold, not panicking in even the simplest of holds was a good first step to being confident in the ring, and it looked like the giantess was on to a good strategy, finding what she had an advantage over the ebony warrior in and trying to use it to her advantage. And the big difference was height. With Barda on the rise up, Rebecca was forced back to standing too, trying to keep the 7 foot tall bent over so she could keep her feet on the ground. She didn't fancy being caught up in the air, hanging around Barda's neck, but she wasn't about to let go: this was still about seeing how Big Barda reacted to this sort of situation. If she wanted to lift Rebecca up for any length of time she needed more strength than just her neck muscles.

God, this woman was heavy. This was the first time Barda could even remember having trouble lifting someone up by any means; usually they were like dead weight. And Rebecca had bricks were her abs were supposed to be; you could probably grate cheese off those things.

She shook her head, taking a break from being amazed and remembering the very real danger she was in - she needed to get out and free, get this monkey - no, get this gorilla off her back. She reached back behind her, trying to get her hands around Rebecca's steely thighs to lift her up and take the precious away from her neck - that was the first step, anyway; a good place to start dealing with the problem.

Okay, legs secured, and Rebecca was now being supported by Barda's arms and back rather than hanging on her neck, good thinking from the giant cosplayer, less pressure on the neck the better and all, but she had gotten a little caught up in the educational side of things to realize how bad her position was.

"Well... this aint gonna be good." She said, the reality of the situation dawning on her as she braced for impact. Two possible ways this could end from her point of view, neither were going to be very fun.

Between the two of them, they weighed, bare minimum, 500 pounds, and it showed. The canvas trembled with every step, creaking and groaning underneath, as if threatening to break at any moment under the tremendous weight.

Barda was tempted to slam her into the turnbuckle, but that would require her to move - the less energy the better; just holding Rebecca up was a chore. Instead, she fell on her back, letting gravity do the work for her, their impact almost breaking the ring beneath them. You could hear the crack.

Adrian looked away as the two fell backwards, the whole gym shaking with the impact as Rebecca was crushed betwen the mat and the giantess. The phrase "the bigger they are the harder they fall" proving itself true as 400+lbs fell on a ring that was used to dealing with about half the weight. To it's credit it held firm, the amazons hadn't ripped a hole in it, but Barda had done some real damage. "I'm okay..." Rebecca wheezed out from underneath her. No matter how strong she was there was no good way to take an impact like that, at least it was looking good for how the giant cosplayer handled herself in the ring when she didn't hold back.

Huh, the ring held up. That's Japanese craftmanship, for you.

Rebecca's however, was a different story - she was practically pancaked into the ring. Barda couldn't even see it and she winced at the hit - imagination was more than enough to get the picture, and the sound of Rebecca's voice confirmed it. Barda really didn't want to hurt her all that bad, but it was either that or get chocked out in the bestial beauties arms. This was more pleasant. For Barda, anyway.

She rolled off and turned, resting on her knees as she looked down at Rebecca. "So...should I pin you? Or do you want to take a little break or..."

Adrian finally peeked her head up from under the ring edge, seeing Barda trying to take a little rest. "What are you doing!?" the former cosplayer yelled "Stay on her Barda! That'll just make her mad!" she tried to get across. Taking a break was probably a good idea, but she needed to drill some good wrestling habits into the 7 foot tall woman, one of which was to not let people recover from big moves like that.

It hadn't exactly made Rebecca mad, being squished like that as the Amazon tried to push herself up off the mat, but it had hurt a fair bit. Which was probbly going to be bad news for Big Barda as the dark skinned woman wasn't about to let someone get away with putting the hurt on her without some form of payback, spar or not. It was something she had been taught: someone hits you really hard? Hit back harder, even if it's just a spar it will teach them not to be so reckless with someone who could probably break anyone in half.

From the sound of things, the ring itself could have used a break, but Adrian had a good point - letting someone like Rebecca get her wind back was probably not the best of ideas. Fighting against her nature would be hard, yes, but fighting against a ticked off Amazon on the warpath would be considerably harder - she had Rebecca on the proverbial ropes, best to keep her there for as long possible.

As Rebecca got up, Barda moved behind her as quick as someone her size could reasonably hope to move, and kneeled behind her while she snaked her arms are around Nubian Amazon's neck - only instead of going for the same hold Rebecca had done in a similar position, she went for a dragon sleeper, tucking her neck under the arm while her leg went to trap one of her arms.

Rebecca growled as Barda wrapped her own impressively large arm around her neck, and trapping her arm underneath the giantess' leg. It was a really effective way to keep someone so big down to the ground, Cecilia had even her own variation on the Dragonsleeper, specifically designed to put Rebecca out. Her muscles weren't any use without oxygen, and even though her neck was as solid as a tree trunk, this hold was gonna take it's toll. "Okay Barda, that's some good work." Adrian continued to shout encouragement to her un-official protege "just make sure she doesn't do the thing she does when smaller people do that to her." the former cosplayer warned, probably a bit too vaguely, hopefully Barda would guess what was about to happen before Rebecca tried to grab the leg holding her arm trapped and pull at the arm around her neck, trying to get a little movement back as she tried to get back up to her knees.
