Before Veldaris will leave the AI will say " I am sorry captain I am just very eager to make you proud by keeping the ship running great" as the AI starts to scan for any system updates then goes into sleep mode. Xerxan will feel a lot of eyes on him because except for Veldaris he probably is the only other drow on the planet which made him just as nervous even though Daisuke wouldn't let anything happen to him. When their friend asks about him he will say " Xerxan" then get quiet again still not really use to being around a lot of people in this type of setting.

"That's an interesting name." she tells them before saying she'll be back in a few minutes. Daisuke tells him not to worry. Any of the few small looks they were getting were mostly because of them being here. The thought of a royal couple being in a place usually occupied by regular people was something that some saw are strange and uncharacteristic, but were accepting of it. She mentions that the planet does have a decent sighed elven population, as well as other races, even though theirs is the more dominate in numbers. Sion confirms that and tells Xerxan to loosen up a bit.

He will say " I guess I am just not really use to being around a lot of people except when I am fighting where I can just block out their stares and focus on my opponent." He gulps a bit knowing drow aren't too well liked in the other elven nations due to the blood hatred between them which Xerxan doesn't hold the hatred just has been the victim of it too much.

"You'll be ok." Daisuke tells him. "Things are different here, there's no need to worry." Her daughter lightly pokes Xerxan in the shoulder with a spoon. "Yeah, lighten up." Sion grins a little bit and tells Sky to put the spoon down. "I know this will take getting use to, just try not to worry about it." he assures him. Eventually their friend comes back and asks Xerxan if he knows what he wants yet. Sion tells him to get whatever he feels like.

Daisuke probably is beginning to realize he may of been forced into gladiatorial like games where he lived and he seems to tie most of his confidence with fighting unlike normal teens his age. He will look at the menu trying to figure out what each item is being he never read from a menu before as he was either brought a tray of mushy food before or now he would catch then cook fish. He will ignore Sky poking him with the spoon as he tries to relax, but he feels like he is making them look bad by his inexperience in these situations.

Daisuke mentions to their friend a bit quietly that Xerxan isn't around here being somewhere like this is kinda new to him. "Oh. Visiting new places, trying new places and trying new things is one of the interesting parts of life." she says as she tries to be supportive. When Sky mentions what she wants she add "He'll have this." as she points to something so her parents' friend can see. Daisuke looks at what Sky pointed at and smiles. "I think he might like that." She tells Xerxan that Sky suggested he have a mix plate that has both ribs and fish on it, though nothing like the fish she and the others saw near his camp. After all the food orders are in Sion shoos the kids away to go play with a pinball machine that was near by.

"Is there anything we can do to make things feel less tense for you Xerxan?" Daisuke asks him, wanting to hold his hand.



Elsewhere, when Veldaris got out of the shower she debated on going to bed early. Though she saw Carl had some dinner made for them and she decides to stay up a little bit longer.

Xerxan trusting Sky is only trying to help when she suggested something for him as he listens to Daisuke's friend talks about seeing new things. He will whisper to them after the children are shooed off to play saying " I think being I was raised as a gladiator I am just used to simple things and occasionally fighting when my mother set up a fight for entertainment purposes for her and friends." He will finish with still saying it quiet" She didn't allow the females who tried to sneak me away leave the house with me being she had plans when one lucky priestess would get me till the one of my sisters lost me in a bet to someone who treated me more like a apprentice then slave."

Both Daisuke and Sion look shocked. "That's terrible." Sion mentions. "Nobody should have to go through that." Daisuke does add "Our friend there can relate to having to fight at a young age, but for different reasons. Still that doesn't sound good."

He will say " that is what my childhood growing up was like training to get stronger which after a few of the fights I was able to start performing to the level my mother wanted which intern pissed my sisters off into constantly beating me down because I would become my mothers motivational tool to push them harder." He will say " I couldn't fight back because of the city law where I couldn't strike my sisters or any female drow unless I was granted permission by my mother." He will finish with " she never did anything to stop the beating even though I know she was fully aware of them happening which I guess she used it as a way toughen me up further."

"Your family sounds like a bunch of asshole." Sion said in a tone that sounded like he might cry after hearing what Xerxan mentioned, it sounded really bad to him.
