Blossom vs Anja - Taking It Up A Notch

Bullseye! Not that hitting someone at point blank range with a headbutt is an especially impressive feat of aiming or anything. Blossom was proud, though, at least as much as she could be with her own head hurting.

She'd managed to get Anja off and show her she wouldn't be so easily held down - she had the taller girl in full retreat, recovering on the outside of the ring. Fortunately, Blossom had a way of dealing with that without even getting up - she rolled after Anja and simply fell off the ring, coming down on top of her, back first. The second time she'd had cause to use that sort of move, too; the first time coming up Death Bunny was in a similar position. Blossom was fairly sure that meant she would have to give it some kind of formal name...Blossom Roll? Egg Roll? Ooo! Rolling Through the Fields!

Anja was in the process of getting up from her knees with a shake of her head to escape the cobwebs that had taken up residence in the middle of her head and was about to think about going back in the ring when Blossom made her move, without the Blonde initially realizing what had happened to her.

„OUGH!“
She yelled, not particularly loud course her rib cage was pressed against the thin mat outside of the ring under the weight of the other girl which did not enable her to really use her voice and breath to the fullest of advantage, but at least the weight was not that overwhelming.

Blossom Drop? Blossom Bomb? Ooo, that was a good one. Alliteration.

She landed dead on, smacking down on Anja and flattening her as the ref started the count, figuring it would be best to get her back in the ring where she could do the most damage, Blossom rolled and slipped her hands under the bigger woman, lifting her up and putting her in a fireman's carry. She'll take a wobbly step back, then jerked forward and tossed her back in the ring, putting her strength on full display for once, then slide her own way back into the ring. "Ready for round 2?"

Anja had the worst of ideas when Blossom now had all the cards in her hands, and her fears deepened when she was easily manhandled by her opponent. Bracing herself for a crushing power attack like a power slam or something similar on the hard ground of the hall, her opponent choose another option and rolled her back into the ring, much to her surprise.

She would quickly take the present of her opponent and roll further to the other side of the ring where she would quickly get up on her feet.
„Noble. Stupid, but noble.“
She replied with a little snort, angry about that gift of the other girl, with her rushing forward for a clothesline she would duck by herself in the last moment, run into the rope behind Blossom and attempt to hit her with a flying forearm in an attempt to speed up the match.

Anja was quick getting up on her feet - she was tough, Blossom had to give her that much - endurance was going to play a key role in this match, that much was crystal clear and shiny.

"Um...thanks? I think? Was that meant to be a compliment, because it kinda sounded like-"

Anja came running at her in the next moment going for a clothesline - about the easiest thing the world for Blossom to dodge; with most opponents, all she'd had have to do is look down, and the thing would whiz over her head. It seemed like Anja had a twist in mind, though - she ducked out of it at the last moment, moving to the ropes behind Blossom. She turned just in time to see a forearm heading for her face, but not nearly in time to do a thing about it.

The blow hit her head dead on and put her flat on the mat, dazed.

Anja sat shortly on the mat after she had rolled around and ended sitting on her butt with her hands resting on her upstanding knees to look grimly and cold into the audience, but finally she got up to fall into a rope again for a running senton she planned to use against Blossom, especially her breast area. She also had thought about a seating senton, but she was not heavy enough to just basically fall down on her opponent for a lasting effect that would significantly weaken her opponent in a way that she could use to later win this encounter.

Luckily for Blossom, she wasn't very big in the 'breast area', not even for her size - just a smidgen over an A cup. So Anja wouldn't have much padding on her landing, though it would still hurt Blossom like blazes. And, oh boy, did it.

The Running Senton hit her dead on, with enough force to make her little body bounce before she hit the mat, instinctively curling up as she groaned with the pain. She placed a palm on the mat and started to push up, but it was slow going - offense was off the table, for the time being.

After she had been so rudely interrupted in her pinning attempt, her next two moves had connected with her opponent, so for now she would look at the attempt of Blossom to get up, a small smirk on her lips while she simply got on.

Still things could turn around quickly in the ring, so her next move would be a simple punt to the skull of her opponent and then turn her around for a more conservative cover this time. Her head still did hurt a bit from the head butt and would not try to make the same mistake twice by being commanded by her lowest instincts.

Blossom wasn't even sure what she'd been hit with - all she was the blow was fast and it was painful. The world went white for a second, and the next thing she was knew, she was on her back, and...and...

"One...!"

Her head was swimming - fishsticks? Why could she smell fishsticks, of all things. Head hurt, and there was weight on her...

"Two...!"

She opened her eyes to see Anja above her, pinning her down...again. For the second time in as many minutes, she was being pinned, and this time it was close - too close.

She bucked out of the pin at the last second, barely breaking the count as her hand shot up. "Not...that easy."

„Easy after getting hit by three attacks. Ok.“
Anja smirked, a little amused by the idea that Blossom thought that she had not taken in some damage and it was a given that she would get up from the second cover easily. From personal experience, she knew that this was not the case.

With that thought, she would try to drag the other girl in a sitting position, sit behind her, sling her legs around the waist of Blossom for a scissor hold and bend her arms backward by grabbing her at the wrists to have the best possible lever for the submission.
