Tension World Title: John Mitchel (c) vs. Makie Akamatsu

For a few seconds, Makie found herself lying stunned underneath John. It was early in the match, though, and she recovered quickly. Quickly enough to notice her precarious position, and hear some of the catcalls coming from the audience. Her face turned beet red. "GAHH...pervert...get off!" she gasped.

She squirmed underneath John, but he was already shifting his position, and Makie suddenly found her arm trapped in an armbar. Biting back a cry of pain, she kicked her legs against the mat. She was quick with a counter, however, using her flexibility to push her feet against the mat and flip over into a crouching position next to John. Even as John held onto her arm, Makie would use her free hand to send a punch down into his abdomen to make him let go.

Johnâ€s eyes widened when he was called a pervert. “HEY! You tripped me!” As if to drive home the point that he hadnâ€t meant to do that, John got off of her as quickly as he could, trying to lock in the submission hold.

But, to Johnâ€s surprise, though it made sense considering how agile she was compared to the big ‘ol battleship John was, she countered immediately. “Grrr…” John let out, trying to hold her down, but soon a hard shot to his abs made him gasp, letting go and jumping to his feet, getting away to take a breath.

As John rolled away, Makie did the same, her face still red from that brief moment of humiliation. Rolling back to her feet, she took a few deep breath as she stared John down. This guy, she decided, definitely was not a pushover.

"Not bad," she said as she grinned slightly at John, circling him warily. "But if you think you're going to win just by falling on me, you have another thing coming, big guy." She wouldn't even wait for John to respond-- in a blur of movement, she would spring forwards, faking a clothesline before twisting her body to launch a drop-kick at John's chest. "HYAAAA!"

John was still getting up when he heard Makie speak. He just let out a smirk, getting to his feet…as he did, he turned and saw Maikie about to launch up and jump at him! John thought she was tryong to clothesline him, so he braced himself to counter that with his own arms, but before he could react again, she leapt up and drop kicked him!

Her feet smashed into his chest, making him gasp and clutch his chest, collapsing backwards onto the ground with a huff.

As John went crashing onto his back, Makie dropped down onto her butt, and, in a single smoothe motion, rolled back to her knees, raising her arms in triumph. "YEAH!" she cried, eliciting a chorus of cheers from her fans.

She didn't stop there, though. Leaping back to her feet, Makie ran over to the ropes and rebounded, her body springing back towards her prone opponent. Leaping forwards, Makie flipped head over heels, aiming to nail John with a leg drop before he could recover. "Take THIS!"

John was on his back, groaning after the drop kick, his arms on his chest. He heard the crowed cheering for his opponent as he began to get up, just in time to see his opponent bouncing off the ropes and coming towards him!

If John had been a little more dazed, or a little more weakened before he was brought down, he probably wouldnâ€t have been able to evade her, but he was already sitting up by the time she dived off the ropes. Her leg would miss him by millimeters as he ticked forward and out of the way. He didnâ€t even look where he was going and he had no idea where his opponent was as he tried to get back up.

Makie was so confident of success when she came bouncing back at John that she didn't consider that maybe, just maybe, she should have focussed on stunning him a little more. As such, she was taken completely by surprise when John, by the barest of margins, managed to roll out of the way. "Wha--?" she gasped, before her outstretched leg slammed down on the mat where he had been a second ago.

Wincing at the impact that ran up her leg, Makie cursed and spun to face John. Springing back to her feet, she would try to get up before him and shoot a knee at close-range into his head. If he managed to get to his feet first, however, then Makie would instead drop low and aim for his midsection or back, depending on which direction John was facing.

John let out a gasp of relief as he tried to spring up as quickly as he could. He heard the klunk of his opponent hitting the mat, and thought that surely he could get up fast enough. But his large body took just a second too much. John was about two thirds up when a Makie SLAMMED hard into his back.

He let out a grunt and got all the way up, but instead of doing anything, he hobbled forward towards the rope, clutching his back with his eyes wide, trying to turn and face Makie before she could strike again.

Makie looked down in satisfaction as John slammed onto his back. Smiling grimly, she circled him like a shark, clapping her hands and encouraging her fans to join in as John staggered to the ropes.

The moment he turned around to face her, Makie would be ready, aiming to shoot five rapid-fire kicks into John's chest before spinning, swiping the sole of her boot across John's face!

John could hear the clapping as he staggered to the ropes. He spun round to face her, only to feel five brutal kicks to his chest! Before he could even recover, her boot swiped across his face, making him let out a groan of pain and drop to his knees in front of the rope.

He struggled to get up, then stopped, collapsing back up onto his knees. It HURT…but he probably could get up if he tried. He was playing possum right now, trying a more defensive stance, hoping she might get overconfident and come in close enough to bring his big hits to bare against her.
