John Mitchell cracked his neck backstage. He had been looking forward to this, his first real title defense. Now John would have the chance to get the big chip off of his shoulder and prove that he was really worthy of having the title, especially to himself. John didnâ€t know the person he was fighting, but she didnâ€t seem like the push over Aoi had been.

He had abandoned the pyro until now, just trying to make a flashy entrance. He made his way down the ramp from backstage and into the ring, clapping the hands of fans as he ran down the ramp. He was shirtless, wearing Army-style camoflague trousers and tan boots. His belt was around his waist, partially obstructing the scars on his side.

They were revealed, small as they were, when he handed his belt off to the ref girl. John absorbed the cheers of the crowed, grinning and getting into his corner. He bounced around a bit, waiting for his opponent to appear.

Makie still couldn't believe it. She knew that she had come a long way since her first forays into the AFW-- that she had slammed, kicked and crashed her way into the spotlight, and had taken her fair share of stunning victories and crushing defeats both. But she had never expected to be here, fighting for the Tension World Title. Even here, in the locker room, she could hear the roar of the crowd outside, and for the first time in ages, the sound made her palms feel sweaty.

Taking a deep breath, she finished sliding her fingerless gloves on and stood up, clad in her new red and white one-piece. Running a hand through her black hair to keep it nice and scruffy, Makie nodded to herself, turned and stepped out the exit. Her older brother, Toshio, was waiting for her outside, leaning against the nearby wall.

"Looking good, sis," he said with a grin. "Ready to kick some ass?"

She grinned back at him and nodded. "Always."

Toshio laughed. "Then go win that belt!" he exclaimed.

Makie needed no further prompting. Hearing her name called by the announcers, she turned and strode out into the exit ramp. As her many fans cheered, she raised her arms and ran down the ramp, hi-fiving as many of her fans as possible, all the while her theme song of "Lotus" by Dir En Grey played in the background.

As she finally reached the ring, she hopped up on the ropes and clapped to her fans, getting them to clap back at her, before turning to face her opponent. She had heard a lot of John Mitchel, but had never seen him in person. He was tall, muscular but lean, and, she had to admit, very handsome. The only turnoff was that he had a dead serious, sour expression that reminded her a lot of Kyo. Hopefully, then, he would be just as easy to distract and fluster as Kyo as well.

She stared John in the eyes as she slowly and resolutely walked towards him. "You," she said slowly. "You have my belt."

John had been alone backstage, mainly because Amanda and Ro were both sitting in front row seats, cheering John on from the audience. As for John, he hadnâ€t been nervous coming out….but as he began to wait for his opponent, he started to realize that he was.

It wasnâ€t the type of nerves he got before any fight, it wasnâ€t the razor sharp, knife edge awareness he had when he went into battle. He was genuinely nervous that he might lose his belt, that he never should have had it in the first place. With a gulp, John banished those feelings…and by banish, read ‘tried in vain to ignore themâ€â€¦as he saw his opponent arrive.

John kept up his usual façade of deadly seriousness, keeping his face neutral as he watched her run into the ring and then approach him.

She came towards him, the tension building, his face as dour as ever. He subtly raised his left eyebrow as she said he had her belt.

Then a smile broke his lips, and at once his expression returned to its natural, warm, and friendly self. “Perhaps I do…” He said, smiling. “Iâ€m looking forward to finding out.”

Johnâ€s eyes began to focus on her as the bell rang. He got his arms up, cautiously moving in a circle around her, not yet willing to commit yet since she was not familiar to him.

The bell rang, and in an instant, Makie was moving. Her eyes never left John's as she began to circle him, hopping lightly on her feet as she watched him carefully. He hadn't risen to her trash talk, remaining impassive, stoic and friendly. Dear god, he IS another version of Kyo! she thought as they circled. And she'd thought that Mark Jagger guy was overly polite...

Focusing back on the match, Makie decided to test John out a little. Darting forwards, she would tie up aggressively with him, before spinning around, aiming to duck under his arm and nail him with a sharp kick to his back. "HYA!"

John didnâ€t know Kyo. If he did, though, heâ€d probably find his blue hair incredibly attractive. (( " title="Very Happy" /> )) This was just Johnâ€s way, sometimes he enjoyed playing at being a stoic guy until he got close to his opponent and smile and enjoy the fight, that was his true self.

Johnny had avoided committing, enticing his enemy to give battle first. She rushed in forward as if to lock up, then spun around fast to duck under his arm and land a kick on his back! John let out a grunt as he absorbed the kick, he had seen it but was too slow to avoid it. Retaliating almost immediately, he shot his own foot out, but he aimed it at Makieâ€s stabilizing, non kicking, leg. He hoped to nail her leg and slow her down…if he was lucky he may even knock the leg out from under her.

Spinning lithely behind her redheaded opponent, Makie felt a shock of impact run up her booted heel as she slammed it against John's back. John's superior size and build told, though, and though he seemed to stagger a little from the blow, he did not fall.

Instead, he did something else, and that was demonstrate more agility than Makie had first given him credit for. One of John's feet shot backwards and impacted against Makie's free leg, and she could only give a startled gasp before she went toppling forwards, crashing down onto her chest! Gasping from the impact, Makie's instincts nonetheless kicked in, and she rotated her body, trying to counter with a leg sweep of her own.

“Kicking! How fun!” John chuckled as the two of them kicked each other. Johnâ€s foot connected, and the result was better than he had hopped. She toppled forward, crashing down on her chest!

John spun himself around as fast as he could, but this time his opponents agility made all the difference. She spun round and swept out his legs from under him! He let out a gasp as he tripped, his big body tumbling forward, about to fall right on top of Makie!

Even as she hit her front, Makie huffed and swept her legs. Feeling them connect with John's heel, she heard him gasp and felt his legs give way, and for a brief moment, she smiled.

The moment of triumph lasted only for a single second, however, before John suddenly came crashing down on top of her. "UAAGH!" Makie gasped, both in pain and in surprise, as John's larger form slammed down against her, squashing her breasts against his own pecs and causing the air to erupt from her lungs. For a moment, all Makie could do was lie stunned under John, breathing hard, and in a very precarious position...

John may have fallen on top of Makie, but he was genuinely surprised and hadnâ€t done it on purpose. His muscular pecs pressed into her breasts, squishing them as Makie was dazed under him. “Uhh….oops…” John said when he realized what had happened.

He was a little disorientated himself, but he tried to get of fof her, figuring he could move quicker than she could with him on top. As he did, he tried to grab her arm and roll to the side, hoping to reposition his body once he did, sliding and forming almost a T position, hoping to get a quick and sloppy arm bar locked in with her arms between his legs.
