Submission Match



The crowd waited restlessly, in anticipation for the the next match of the night. The song "Oh! Muscles!!", by Shinsuke Kazato, finally started playing, and as the sound of upbeat trumpets filled the arena Mindy Priest stepped onto the entrance ramp. The rookie was clad in her usual attire of sports bra, orange-and-black gym shorts and gloves, and she wore a radiant smile on her face. She pumped one fist into the air as she hopped her way down the ramp, looking brightly at the audience. She was visibly more confident than usual tonight. Sure, her stay in the AFW so far had had a few ups and downs... but nevertheless, she felt like she was on top condition this time! Why, just the other day she had broken her personal deadlifting record on the gym, and she had decided to take that as a sign that good times were coming for her.

Grabbing the bottom ropes, Mindy athletically pulled herself up into the ring. She walked to the center and, flexing her muscles, she did a short sequence of bodybuilding poses, displaying her toned physique to the crowd. She felt like showing off a little today. After basking in the cheers for a moment, she would then back off to her corner and turn her sight to the ramp, wondering who her opponent was. "I can feel it... tonight is MY night! I'm gonna show everyone how strong I am!," she thought, giving herself a small pep talk before the match.

Watching from the backstage as Mindy made her entrance was Anesthesia, the infamous nurse from the former Rumble Roses federation. She stayed out of sight, watching in amusement as Mindy made her way to the ring, posing and flexing for the cheering audience. Mindy was a big girl, and the thought of fighting her thrilled Anesthesia. There was few things she enjoyed better than fighting an opponent that thought they were bigger and stronger, and showing them just how strong they really were. Already the nurse's mind was racing, thinking of all the ways she could dismantle the bodybuilding blonde. She was excited, especially since this was her first real match in the AFW since she had made her debut. She was ready to get out there and show everything that she was a serious threat, and that no one was going to be able to stop her from making a huge splash in the company.

Oh yes. Little Miss Priest was going to be in trouble.

When Mindy's music finally died down, Anesthesia's [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fM4fOUFcFfM:32v8o41x]own theme[/url:32v8o41x] hit the speakers, and the nurse stepped out onto the entrance ramp, standing there for a moment atop the stage. One arm was folded over her chest, the other raised upwards, her chin resting in her hand as she stared down the ramp towards the ring. It had been far too long since she had been in the wrestling ring for an actual match, and she was more than ready to get started. She had to make the proper impact though. As impatient as she was to get started, she knew the value of making a good show.

The crowd itself didn't know how to react to her. Many of them knew of the nurse's foul reputation, and properly booed her, while others in the audience thought she was just another pretty face, giving the 'newcomer' cheers and applause. They would soon learn the truth though.

After what must have seemed like forever, Anesthesia began to walk down the ramp towards the ring, locking her cold, steely gaze on Mindy. Every step she took just oozed of confidence, as if ever step had been practiced to perfect. There was no doubt that Anesthesia was sure of herself, no doubt that she had even considered entertaining the idea that she could lose this. It was the exact opposite. She knew she would win. She knew she would beat Mindy.

The only real question on her mind though, was how it would happen.

Once she reached the ring, Anesthesia stepped around towards the steps, and slowly climbed up them. Her gaze still refused to leave Mindy, and now that she was closer to the woman, her gaze made contact with the woman's eyes, staring her down the entire time. Up the steel stairs she went, and even as she leaned over and slipped through the ropes, she never broke her gaze. Once she was in the ring, she wasted no time, stepping right up to Mindy, starting to circle around her, finally breaking contact with her eyes and slowly looking up and down the woman's body, inspecting her closely.

And the entire time, she never once said a single word, waiting for Mindy herself to make the first verbal contact between them.

Waiting with both arms crossed in front of her, Mindy watched her opponent's appearance as one entrance song gave way to another. The first thing that caught her attention was the mixed response from the audience. After a few matches here, Mindy had learned that no one outright booed a newcomer on their debut fight. At most, they were received with lukewarm cheers, or maybe even indifference, but never a boo. So it was likely that she was facing an established heel... but she also had been told that this woman was new to the AFW, with no matches on her record. So which was it?

The woman was clad in a revealing, pink nurse outfit. "A gimmick?" However, contrary to Mindy's expectations, she did not act all sexy or cute; she didn't even try to act like a nurse. Instead, she moved with a very deliberate aura of confidence. The theatrical pose, the balanced gait, the refusal to look at the crowd... her attitude definitely did not match her scanty costume. As Mindy tried to unravel these contradictions, however, her opponent made her way down the ramp, and after a while the rookie detected something odd. She felt like she was being watched.

Well, what a silly feeling, you may think. Here she was, standing in the middle of the ring, dressed to fight and surrounded by hundreds right before her one-on-one match. Doesn't take a Sherlock to figure out that scores of wrestling fans were looking at her right now. But no, this wasn't about the audience. It felt different this time. And, as the nurse came closer, it became clear to Mindy that she was the source of the strange feeling, two dark eyes locked in steady observation.

The shy blonde's first impulse was to look the other way, but she stopped herself before she actually did it. A phrase from one of her self-help books came to her mind. "Steady eye contact shows force of character!" She couldn't afford to act weak just before her match! As the nurse entered the ring, Mindy made an effort to stare back at her, trying her best to ignore the coldness of her gaze. After a while, though, the nurse got so close that it was too much for Mindy to bear; she finally looked down, pretending her attention had now been drawn to adjusting one of her fingerless gloves. She gave it a tug or two, to illustrate the point.

Mindy stayed in place as the nurse circled around her. Was this an intimidation tactic? It wasn't going to work, she told herself! She would wait until her opponent completed a full turn before extending her arm for a handshake. "I'm Mindy! Nice to meet you. What do you think of my body, Ms. Nurse?" She smiled, happy with her own response. Surely, this was a confident way to act after her body had been inspected so blatantly by this odd woman.

Anesthesia completed her circuit of Mindy, smiling lightly in satisfaction to herself. The girl was big. Muscular. Powerful looking. She was exactly the kind of woman that Anesthesia liked. She had no doubts at all that Mindy could prove to be a serious threat, no doubt that if the girl managed to get her hands on the nurse, that she could toss her around like a rag doll and then just beat the stuffing out of her. But Anesthesia wasn't worried, oh no. Despite her tough appearance, the nurse could tell that Mindy was soft. She was still a newcomer. She still didn't have the proper ring experience she needed, she was lacking the certain edge that she hadn't managed to develop yet. If their roles were reversed, if Anesthesia was the larger and stronger of the two? She would have already jumped her opponent, she would have already started to use her size and strength against her.

But Mindy had decided to play nice, and was acting civil towards the nurse. It was amusing to Anesthesia. She knew, she just knew that she was going to have an easy fight ahead of her...and she was going to do everything she could to enjoy herself and have fun with it.

As Mindy extended her arm towards her, Anesthesia's gaze dipped down, glancing at her hand before looking back up towards the woman's eyes. A faint hint of a smirk crossed her face, the corners of the nurse's lips just barely arcing upwards. With a mocking sigh, she took a step closer to Mindy, her voice soft as she answered the larger woman. "What do I think of your body...?" She gazed deep into Mindy's eyes, taking a moment to let her tongue slowly trace over her lips, a hungry, eager action. "You're pretty big. You're muscular, you're strong...you're just the kind of woman I like..."

She took another step forward after that, close enough that she could lean right in, and whisper towards towards Mindy. "...and I am going to have so much fun tearing you apart, dear. I'm going to dismantle you right here in front of this crowd and there is nothing you can do about it..."

She stepped back again after that, meeting Mindy's gaze one more time, waiting to see how the woman would react to her words.

Mindy kept her arm extended for a good time, but when it became clear that Anesthesia wasn't going to take it she lowered her hand. "No handshake, huh?" Well, things were off to a good start. As the nurse went on and "complimented" her for her physique, Mindy kept her cool and tried to maintain a straight face, smiling a little just to show that she wasn't intimidated. It was hard to ignore the tongue slowly running over those lips, but Mindy decided to take it as just another hassling attempt from her opponent.

However, what Anesthesia did next really caught the rookie off guard. In an outright invasion of Mindy's personal space, the nurse stepped even closer and whispered an incredible threat to her. A drop of cold sweat ran down Mindy's temple; hearing something so explicit right before a match was a first for her. "Hey! T-too close!" She would try to grab Anesthesia's shoulder and shove her away, wanting some space.

However, she quickly realized that the nurse was getting to her, and she tried to reestablish her composure, putting a hand on her hip. "H-haha! That's a pretty bold claim! Too bad you won't be able to take me down... ha!" There was just a hint of uneasiness in her laughter. So this woman was a heel, after all... so what? Mindy just had to be stronger and more confident, and all her threats would be in vain! Right?

The bell rang, starting the match. Mindy would step back to a safe distance and assume a fighting stance. "I hope you're ready," she said as she raised her arms, offering a test of strength.

Anesthesia laughed as Mindy shoved her back, a cold and cruel sound, and staggered for a moment before catching her balance. Mindy was strong. She could feel it, even in that awkward shove. She still wasn't worried about it though. Even after getting the brief taste of the woman's strength, she could tell that she had started to get under Mindy's skin. All it would take from the nurse was a little more prying to really get to her and unsettle the woman, and this match would be her's. As far as Anesthesia was concerned, she had already won the match, and the bell hadn't even rung yet!

When the bell finally did ring though, and Mindy invited her to the test of strength, Anesthesia had to bite her lip to stifle a laugh. Did Mindy really think she was going to be so foolish as to accept her grapple? The darker-skinned woman was no novice. She knew she wouldn't last a moment in a test of strength after Mindy, and she had no intention of testing herself against the larger woman.

Anesthesia raised her own arms up though, giving Mindy a slight nod as if accepting her offer. She began to move forward towards her, almost as if she was going to accept it. However, right before her hands met Mindy's, the nurse suddenly shuffled to the side of her, trying to use a bit of her fancy footwork to maneuver behind the woman. "Too slow, dear!" she called out to Mindy, falling back from her and settling into a defensive stance, her arms raised up in front of her. "Come on, I know you can do better than that..."

The test of strength was Mindy's go-to opening move; anyone who watched her previous matches could tell you that she went for it almost every time. It was the perfect starting position for her, as it let her know exactly how her raw muscle power compared to her opponent's - and, if she turned out to be stronger (as it often happened), she also got to start the match with a slight advantage, being able to push the other wrestler around while she looked for an opening. It was just natural that a big, straightforward girl like her would train with such a tactic so much.

However, this time, it looked like Mindy would have to forget about using this move. She waited patiently as Anesthesia inched towards her, extending her fingers in an attempt to interlace them with the nurse's, but just as those hands got into range they moved away, and in an instant Anesthesia circled behind her. "Eh?" The rookie was quick to follow her movements and turned around too, although she was not very happy of abandoning her test of strength.

Mindy wasn't the kind of wrestler to talk a lot during a match, so even though Anesthesia's comment irked her a bit she decided not to answer it. Instead, she decided to step forward and try to grab one of the arms in front of her, irish whipping the nurse towards the ropes if she was successful.

Anesthesia smiled as she positioned herself behind Mindy. She was expecting Mindy to look around in confusion, to not realize what had happened, and in that moment she would strike. A simple plan, and one that couldn't fail.

She wasn't expecting Mindy to spin around to face her so fast, however. The nurse's eyes grew wide as Mindy whirled around, reaching out to grab her by the arms. Before she could react, Anesthesia felt herself being pulled into the Irish whip, heading straight towards the ropes, flying out of control towards them.

Anesthesia had been Irish whipped many times in her career before, but never had she been thrown so hard, and so fast towards the ropes. Mindy was definitely packing some serious strength behind her innocent demeanor, and as the nurse slammed into the ropes, she was beginning to think she should take her a bit more seriously.

She hit the ropes, leaning into them for but the briefest of moments before bouncing back off of them, flying back towards Mindy. She was out of control, and cursed herself every step of the way for letting the bigger woman whip her like that. She could only hope that Mindy's followup wouldn't be too bad, otherwise she was going to be in quite a bit of trouble.

Mindy could have large muscles, but she was by no means a sluggish glacier. The fact that she hit the gym religiously, on an almost daily basis, meant that she was pretty much always in peak physical condition, and not just in terms of strength. She was reasonably agile, too. Sure, she wasn't nearly as fast as the fast girls, and she didn't have the "instinct" that let more experienced wrestlers dance away from dangerous moves, but at this stage of the match it wasn't hard for her to follow her opponent.

Turning around, Mindy took the nurse's forearm and whipped her forward. Anesthesia was acting all high and mighty, but perhaps her bark was worse than her bite! Wanting to get the upper hand right away, Mindy ran after Anesthesia, and as she turned and bounced off the ropes the rookie would extend a stiff, muscular arm, trying to nail the older woman with a clothesline!

Anesthesia bounced off of the ropes and straight back towards Mindy, her eyes wide as she watched the girl lift up her arm for the clothesline. Time seemed to slow for the nurse as she approached Mindy, and in that brief moment she began to muse over the fact that even though she was the more experienced of the two, it had been ages since she had actually set foot in the ring. Experience didn't mean anything if you let yourself get too rusty.

While she was thinking over this, her body came right back towards Mindy, and that stiff, powerful arm slammed right into the nurse's chest. It was like running into a steel bar. The impact of the simple clothesline took Anesthesia right off of her feet, the nurse twisting in the air before dropping to the mat at Mindy's feet. She landed on her back, looking upwards towards the bright lights of the arena, her chest starting to heave up and down with a bit of labored breathing. That had hurt, and for the first time Anesthesia was realizing that she needed to get more serious against Mindy.

Once she went down, the nurse flopping onto her back, the crowd got up to their feet, cheering for Mindy, yelling their approval at how easily the girl had taken the vile nurse down. They screamed and applauded for her, yelling for her to keep going, shouting words of encouragement towards the musclegirl. It was clear that the crowd was on Mindy's side, and that there was little love for Anesthesia in the arena this night.
