In Past Times

"Apparently not," said Cougra with crossed arms and not willing to budge. She tried to listen to what Alibaster had to say, but she still seemed unconvinced that this whole "time traveling" gig was going to work at all. "If I'm willing to go through with this, what's in it for me?"

Ryan put a hand on his chin and thought about this situation in length. Could it really be possible?
"Alibaster hasn't lied to me so far I suppose, that has to count for something I suppose." Mr Knight pondered.

He dug his hands into his pockets and said "Alibaster.....If this thing does work....Where will we go?" looking intently at the device as he talked.

"Well,I did have an idea in mind.In return for your help,we will travel back to a small mountian town.This is the home of those...Ugh,friendsyou made here.The ones with animal gear? Nick,J,Conza,Anampo,and Yoshiro? Where they lived.The machine will reduce our age down so we blend in." He smirks and looked at the two,shifting gaze ever so often. "Well?"

Cougra seemed intrigued to hear about how she would be able to see the home where her friends lived. Hopefully, this crazy thing would work to make it happen. She looked to Ryan and said, "Well, I'm on board. What about you?"

Ryan lightly frowned, it seemed legit here. Alibaster hadn't lied to him yet, but there was one thing that bothered him. He'd become younger, back to his mid teens. That was.....A bad time for Mr Knight, something that left him scarred and wounded. But he reined in his bad memories and said "I suppose I can agree to this, when will another chance like this happen?"

He moved a bit closer and said "So what now?"

Alibaster saw that he had both of them on board. "Alright.What is needed of you two,is to touch a side of the cube with a hole on it.This will take us back about a decade.But be aware,this isn't fully developed." His voice became a bit shaky. "It will jump evry few days." Alibaster took his swords and packed them on his back and his sides.

Ryan kept his face neutral, listening intently to Alibaster's words. Then he let out a scowl when he saw Alibaster packing his swords and said "Don't get any funny ideas."

He then carefully touched the side of the cube that was facing him, keeping an eye on Alibaster as he did so. Cougra wasn't on his radar at this point, but Mr Knight couldn't pass up the chance to know more about Jay and Anampo. So he would just stay silent and brace himself as best he could for what might happen.

All was left was for Cougra to reach forth and touch her side of the cube. She took a deep breath and had to put all her faith and trust that they all can be safe throughout their time traveling.

The cube glowed a bright green,then flashed white.That feeling you feel when gooing down the high point on a rollercoaster? That pit in your stomach? Multipy that feeling by 10.

It lasted for almost 20 seconds,but it felt like forever.

Alibaster opened his eyes.Ground seemed,closer.He looked at his hands....Small.It had seemed he had become his former 14-year old self. "A whole 10 years.....Ryan? Cougra?"

Cougra closed her eyes as the cube took effect and it all took 20 seconds. When she opened her eyes, she would look at her hands and wondered why they looked smaller. Even her old clothes look like they shrunk with her. "Uhh, Al? What happened?"
