Johnny bounced on his heels in the backstage area. Another brutal match. Probably against another girl who couldn't handle it. Why was he always getting these matches? He paused and inhaled deeply. He couldn't worry about it. He was just lucky they weren't hentai matches. Taylor wouldn't say a word no matter how many girls he sent to the infirmary. But one hentai match and he could kiss his balls goodbye. If he was lucky.

There was a loud cheer for the Tesnion star. Aside from being a tough in ring competitor, he was one of Tension's heartthrobs and it was reflected in the noticeable twinge of female shrieks from the crowd. Aside from being a well chiseled male specimen, he was also married to Taylor Parker, a famous Friction wrestler in her own right , who was still garnering attention even during her retirement. Not only that, but he had also been involved in a bit of a scandalous affair that also increased his popularity, especially among the female fans.

Johnny didn't think about that stuff though. Taylor was the one who liked to do the phtoshoots and interviews. Johnny just wanted to pump iron and wrestle. He'd been a lot more focused ever since he'd gotten involved with her. That was exactly what he was. Focused. The next princess or sex crazed chick that came down the ramp? Johnny was already feeling ready o take them down and do it quickly.

He tugged on the ropes and stretched as he waited. He was dressed in black, baggy workout shorts and had a pink shirt with a derpy heart, that said "My Wife Could Beat Up Your Husband." inside the heart in black. On the back it had a poorly drawn caricature of Taylor and Johnny holding hands mini-sized near the collar. Johnny looked down and shook his head. He figured... why not. Who was going to say something? He could beat up their husband too.

Johnny seemed to be expecting some pushover. He didnâ€t know who was waiting backstage. Ro Laren was pretty eager for this match, she loved the brutal hardcore fights. It got her adrenaline pumping, and it was one of the best feelings even if she didnâ€t manage to win. Ro liked to win, though, and she fully intended to go out and put this guyâ€s lights out.

Ro would already be standing there, dressed in her white strapless tank top and her red pants, matching the red pyro and her red hair. Up the side of the pants were streaks of flames. It would be clear right away that the red head wasnâ€t your typical jobber girl, she was skinny but a good couple of inches taller. Her body was toned, it looked strong. She was no muscly lady, but she projected strength.

Finally, Ro began to charge down the ramp, smaller pyro on both sides of her as she charged down in the dark, moving in step with her. When she finally reached the ring she jumped up onto the apron, then boned off the ropes to land on her feet in the ring.

Once she was finished with that, the lights returned to their full brightness, and Ro was standing with an outstretched hand, ready to shake this guys hand. Ro didnâ€t know Johnny, so she was as on guard as ever, but she wanted to start off on the right foot. “Ro Larren.” was all she said.

Johnny was just as surprised as the rest of the audience when the lights went off. What the hell was he getting put up against now? Some sort of goth chick? Some big important Tension chick? She really didn't know too many of them. But when the music kicked on, Johnny forgot about that. He started to nod his head. Whoever he was facing, she knew about good music.

Then he saw the flash and pyro and watched closely. She was still hard to make out but in an instant the lights were on and she was standing in front of him. Johnny looked her over. She was definitely good looking but she also looked like she knew a thing or two in the wrestling ring. Johnny took her hand in his own and squeezed as tightly as possible. Sure, she looked good, but all the girls around did. She could just be all flash and no substance. Johnny had one way of finding out.

'I'm Johnny Higurashi, dude."

he was also glad she seemed at leas a little friendly. Maybe that wasn't it. Maybe it was... serious? That seemed to be the word he was looking for.

When Ro felt him squeeze her hand, Ro smirked and tried to match his grip, slowly shaking it and trying to match strength with him. “Good to meet you…hope youâ€re ready.” She smiled a bit. He certainly did look like he could put up a good fight. Thatâ€s exactly what she wanted in an opponent. Not some guy looking to be smothered all day, but a good fight. Ro had to count herself pretty lucky. Cecilia in a cross over fight, then Ronan as her first tension match, she had been able to get herself decent opponents each time, both of them good enough to beat her. It looked like Ro had gotten lucky again.

Ro pulled her hand away, ending their hand shake, just as the bell rang. But Ro decided she wasnâ€t done being competitive, as she backed off just a bit, still relatively in the center, and quickly lifted them up, as if taunting him to try for a test of strength. Ro kept an eye on him, ready to dodge or counter if he tried anything else…but she was curious.

Johnny raised an eyebrow when Ro matched his grip and tried to surpass it. He squeezed tighter but kept his friendly smile. He felt something different about this girl. She was obviously strong. It seemed like she understood where she was. But Johnny wasn't convinced just yet. "Yeah, man. It's cool." He said, flashing her a grin as he pulled away.

Johnny heard the bell ring and pulled back, putting his hands up. He was expecting her to go full on attack mode. But instead, she held out her hands. He eased into a more relaxed position. He then grabbed his shirt and pulled it off. Another wave of girlsh screams rippled through the arena. Johnny tossed it into the crowd and turned back to Ro. He was tall for a Japanese guy but Ro was taller. However, Johnny looked like he was sculpted out of marble.

Johnny gave Ro a nod and lifted up his own hands. If she wanted a test of strength, that was definitely what he was interested in. He slid his slipped his fingers between hers and set himself. Then, with a look in her eyes, Johnny bent his knees and pushed with all his strength, looking to drive Ro backwards.

“Thatâ€s the second male noun in two minutes. The boobs usually give it away.” Ro laughed loudly, her tone and laughter made it very obvious that she was not offended, but was merley joking around.

Ro had indeed considered simply attacking, but she was just as curious about Johnny as Johnny appeared to be curious about her. Of course, before their test of strength began, the crowed started up screaming over his shirt being removed. “Are you like…important enough to have fangirls?” Ro laughed again, taking a moment to look over his body and nod with approval.

Ro smirked as their fingers locked together, their hands interlocked. Johnny shoved with all of his strength, but Ro stood her ground, planting her feet in the ground and shoving back, holding out against him, at least for now. Ro growled a bit, pushing out, hoping she could push back….they seemed pretty evenly matched, it was an effort just to hold herself in position, but she still tried to shove forward and bend back Johnâ€s wrist. She had no idea how heâ€d hold up to it.

"I call my wife dude." Johnny said, smirking despite the strain. Ro was everything she had billed herself to be and while their strength was matched, it seem like they could strain against each other until someone gave in. He felt her try and bend his wrists Johnny decided that since they were even, position was what mattered and he bent his knees. She was taller than him so with his wrists bent, it would look to the audience that Ro was definitely starting to get the better of the exchange.

"Dunno. Don't care. Just interested in wrestlin." He growled out. Not angrily but with the strain that was the only way his voice could sound. Now with their position, Johnny could feel her beginning to use gravity to her advantage. Johnny planned on using a force of his own and tried to turn her semi-downward push into a pull, looking to turn the test of strength into a throwing position so he could yank on Ro's arms and heave her off the ground and onto the mat.

Ro had the same idea as Johnny about position, except that the positions he desired seemed to be the position Johnny was all to willing to give up to her. She was too caught up in the energy of things to realize that he was allowing the taller red head to bend his wrists and his knees, and she confidently began to think that she had the advantage of him.

“Heh...right answer.” Ro chuckled, or rather growled as well, very absorbed in their little contest. She was glad this guy was no push over, she had to admit the screaming fangirls could have given her the wrong idea. Ro began to push down even harder, eager to knock her opponent down…but suddenly Johnny reversed it, dropping down and pulling Ro hard, throwing her to her side on the ground. Roâ€s side hit the mat hard, a groan escaping her lips as she quickly tried to yank her arms away and scramble to her feet, not wanting him to use the grip to do anymore damage.

Johnny let go when Ro was tossed. After seeing her hit the ground, he grinned. She was strong as far as physicality went, but could she take a beating? He supposed that was the next question. As Ro scrambled away, Johnny gave chase and pulled his hands into a double axe handle position. He tried to catch her while she was standing by swinging his arms, looking to nail her in the side with a double fisted assault!

Johnny had a significant advantage over Ro, but it wasnâ€t endurance. It was experience. Ro had had some coaching by her John, and had done some wrestling in circuits in NYC, but she kept finding herself out trained by her opponents, who seemed to have more experience. That may have been why Ro was so easily taken in by the feint, even though it was well executed.

Ro had landed on her side, quickly rolling to try and get up. As she scrambled to her feet, though, she felt a huge blast as two fists slammed into her side. Roâ€s eyes widened as the blast hit her, driving the air from her longs and making her clutch her side. It throbbed a bit, his fists were hard. He was close to her, though, and she had managed to stay on her feet. After taking a vulnerable second to recover from that, Ro tried to rush Johnny, intending to punch with an upwards motion into his stomach.
