Toshiko Nada vs. Lorenza Saldano

Lorenza had been hurt by Toshikoâ€s last combination—especially the knee, something which, as a boxer, she never really prepared for—but she was not about to give up all the momentum she had built up over the first ten minutes of their match. She was used to fighting some of the best strikers in the world, taking dozens upon dozens of punches to her face and to her body and not going down. She refused to let a little wimp like Toshiko be any different!

She landed her own combination. A hook to the face, then a hook to the ribcage—one which, judging by the crunch that Lorenza felt upon impact, might have bruised or broken one of her opponentâ€s ribs—followed by a decisive uppercut. Toshiko staggered back into the cage wall. Lorenza followed her, out for blood now as she hoped to finish Toshiko off.

Toshiko wasnâ€t going down without a fight. She pushed off the cage and surged forward to meet Lorenza. She started throwing a flurry of blows to Lorenzaâ€s face. Jabs and hooks. It was an undisciplined assault, and Lorenzaâ€s guard absorbed most of the blows, but Toshiko did manage to force Lorenza to focus on defense for the time being. Lorenza took a step back, letting her fists absorb the damage that Toshiko was dealing, wincing a little as her wrist was hit hard.

If Toshiko was going to win this she needed to up the ante and go on the offensive, it was the only method after all. Going defensive served no purpose and all it achieved was giving Lorenza golden opportunities to land critical hits. Her combo barrage combo was not perfect. It was however never designed to deal damage. All she wanted to do was to get the bitch on the defensive so that she could start to get in her own critical hits. Toshiko had spent years doing street boxing, after all boxing was the easier form of attack someone could learn, it was bread and butter on the streets. She refused to acknowledge that some ametuer champion could be any match compared to the brutal things she suffered when she was younger.

Toshiko would pound into the guard a few more times. She was now happy with the guard that Lorezna was using. Toshiko would then switch from jabs to hooks, throwing wide hooks to circumvent her guard and smash into the girls waist and ribs. The plan was that Lorenza would hopefully open up her guard to block the new wide hooks. If Lorenza didnthat Toshiko would waste no time executing her next part of the plan; with lightning speed Toshiko would go from wide hooks to direct jabs, looking to nail them quick and hard into Lorenza's now exposed face, trying to land as many as possible before the guard closed up again.

Lorenza was forced onto her back foot, on the defensive, not taking any hits to her face but unable to launch any further strikes of her own lest she allow one of Toshikoâ€s punches to slip through and tag her hard in the face. Toshiko was demonstrating some impressive boxing form—not that Lorenza cared—but so long as her fists were just pounding into Lorenzaâ€s guard all she was doing was wasting energy.

Toshiko would switch up from jabs to hooks, and the first one actually did manage to catch Lorenza in the side. The boxer grunted, but gave no other reaction, simply shifting her hands down to her sides, absorbing the blows just as she had been seconds earlier.

As Toshikoâ€s punches slowed for a second, Lorenza would make a move to put herself back on the offensive. She would throw a quick one-two combination of jabs at Toshikoâ€s face, looking to take advantage of the girlâ€s lowered arms in order to smack her with a couple of fists to the nose. But Toshiko seemed to want to do the same thing to Lorenza, and a couple of quick jabs smacked into the Mexican boxerâ€s face, snapping her head back and eliciting another grunt. She could only hope that Toshiko would suffer at least as much from her punches.

It did seem to Toshiko that her plan had really worked. It seemed that the flurry of pinches had forced the woman onto the defensive and stopped all of her attacks. Granted none of them really did anything that smash into the woman's forearms it did at least give Toshiko some breathing space. Toshiko was glad to score even the one hit with the hooks. Glad to see the look on the womans face when she managed to flawlessly change her attack style and land that hook into her side.

What happened next Toshiko really should of seen coming. She was using a boxing technique against a boxer so it was safe to assume that Lorenza would find the same loophole as Toshiko did. Toshiko had overlooked that fact which meant she got smashed in the face twice with a double jab combo just as Toshiko was firing her own. She would let out a yelp as her head snapped backwards. While Toshikos attacks were aiming for the the woman's cheek bones, Lorenza's had gone right for the nose, when Toshiko bought her head back up it was noticeable right away that her nose had pretty much been busted, the biggest give away was the splatter of blood that had made its way out of her nose and onto her mouth and chin.

Toshiko was annoyed now. This old woman came into the place thinking that in her first match she could come in here and start racking up wins and beating on experienced younger fighters. Well now it was time for Toshikonto show the vile woman what was what. Toshiko would crouch, using her new stance to fire off a series of 5 jabs to the woman's abs and gut, hoping it would set her up nicely for a uppercut to the jaw and then to finish it off and price her point once and for all, a jumping knee into the chest. Toshiko was fully serious now. This woman had to go down.

Toshikoâ€s fists caught Lorenza on her cheeks, smacking hard into her face, snapping Lorenzaâ€s head back and to one side, then abruptly to the other side, putting painful pressure on her neck which threatened to develop into full-blown whiplash should such abuse persist. But Lorenza did at least as much damage to her opponent as the younger woman did to her, smashing Toshikoâ€s nose, being rewarded with a flood of red, red blood dribbling from the Japanese girlâ€s face onto her chin, Lorenzaâ€s fist, and the canvas.

“Piruja,” Lorenza said coldly, wiping some of the other fighterâ€s blood on her shirt, cleaning off her fists.

As the younger woman crouched down, Lorenza would bend a little, as well, tucking her arms in close to her body and absorbing a series of five brutal punches from her foe. Even though she had blocked them, her stomach was still hurt by the force of her arms being pounded back into it as she defended. She figured Toshiko would try to come up, and when she did, aiming an uppercut for Lorenzaâ€s chin, the Mexican boxer would lean back, letting the girlâ€s fist pass in front of her face. She couldnâ€t stop Toshikoâ€s leaping knee, however, and the bony joint slammed into her chest, forcing the breath out of Lorenza. “Gaauh!” the boxer gasped, spittle flying from her mouth. She stumbled back a few steps, momentarily stunned by the unorthodox attack.

It had taken half the bloody match but finally Toshiko was finding her form and doing some damage to the woman. Toshiko was never going to lose to someone like this. She refused to. She always believed that no one should be allowed to win their debut match. Toshiko was somewhat disappointed that her strikes got blocked, even more annoyed over the missed uppercut. However it was rather clear that the woman was not ready for the knee strike and Toshiko would take that and score at least one true hit.

"I feel bad using my knee but you have to go down" regaining her compusre after bringing her knee back down Toshiko would fire off two more direct jabs at the woman's face, hoping to take advantage of the state of the woman after the knee strike. Although Toshiko was confident that the strikes would hit, Toshiko would tighten her footing just in case she got unlucky the woman tried to counter attack. At least she would be more prepared.

Lorenza was winning this fight. Even taking into account Toshikoâ€s knee strike to her chest, which stunned her and knocked her back a few steps, Lorenza was winning this fight. Still, she had to adapt to this different, no-holds-barred style of fighting. She wasnâ€t a boxer anymore. Here, in a match like this, nothing was against the rules. She had to harken back to her old days as a street fighter in her hometown of Tijuana.

Before Lorenza could get her guard back up, Toshiko fired off a couple of quick jabs to her face, snapping her head first to one side and then to the other. It was enough to make Lorenza sway on her feet, but not enough to make her go down.

But now that she was thinking like a street fighter, she realized that maybe going down wouldnâ€t be so bad. If she went down on her own terms, she could use it to her advantage. No points would be deducted for being knocked down, like they would be in a boxing bout. And so Lorenza would begin to fall forward, looking as if she had really been thrown for a loop by Toshiko. However, once she was on her knees, she would strike, launching a fist straight for the younger fighterâ€s groin, and then sweeping one leg outwards, trying to slam it into her foeâ€s shins and bring Toshiko to the canvas as well.

It was important to Toshiko that she started to do some damage. Toshiko had been a experienced fighter and she was finding it a bit insulting that she had been typically losing to a boxer. The fact that the jabs actually hit was of a great surprise to Toshiko, even more surprising when she discovered that it seemed to be causing Lorenza to start staggering back.

It was however a ruse, a plot to get Toshiko to get her hopes up, her reward for such an affair was a punch to the groin and then a attack to her shins which achieved its goal of getting Toshiko to the canvas too. She wasn't expecting the boxer to be able to pull a move off like that and was at the time totally content with trading punched with he. However if the woman wanted to start going into Toshiko's area of expertise then she would happily oblige.

"Yeah, smart one there" She would let out from gritted teeth, trying to make it look like she was really in pain. In truth she was, but she had taken worse and was for the most part putting it on. She would then lunge forward, trying to close the small gap between them with a punch into the lower abdomen, hoping to pave the way for a few punches to the side of the head.

Lorenza had definitely been damaged by Toshikoâ€s last combination. Even though it hadnâ€t been quite enough to knock her to her knees, it had definitely done some damage, and her chest and face would be aching for several hours after the fight. But she was strong. She was stronger than her opponent, and she was about to shift the direction of this fight, taking it to the mat and finishing Toshiko off in brutal, efficient, spectacular fashion.

The Mexican boxer snorted when Toshiko tried to be sarcastic. “Gracias,” she would reply in her native language, smiling a predatorâ€s smile at her foe. Toshiko didnâ€t know that she was more than a boxer. Lorenza had first honed her fighting skills on the streets of Tijuana.

Toshiko looked like she was in agony, but the Japanese girl rallied quickly, lunging forward to throw a punch that sank into Lorenzaâ€s abdomen. The older fighter grunted, but as she saw Toshiko targeting the side of her head, Lorenza would duck in low, letting the punches sail above her as she would then throw herself forward, throwing a quick jab towards Toshikoâ€s abdomen to try to distract her, then slamming her head into Toshikoâ€s noggin for a hard headbutt, trying to take her foeâ€s breath away and knock her flat on her back.

It always seemed to Toshiko that in this match she always seemed to be the one taking damage first. This woman was most certainly fast. She was always ahead of Toshiko, able to read her moves easily and generally making her life a living hell.

Toshiko was just glad that she managed to score that hit against Lorenza's abdomen. It seemed however that Lorenza was on the ball again and managed to dodge the punches to the face. Thankfully this time however Toshiko was a little more prepared than she was last time. She would be able to take a couple of steps back and swiftly avoid the punch to the abdomen. When Lorenza charged for the headbutt, Toshiko was able to wrap her arms around Lorenza and spin around, sending them both crashing into the ground.

"I am not letting a girl win her debut. It's not fair" Toshiko would swiftly wrap her legs around Lorenza, hoping to get her in some sort of waist scissor hold.
