Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

As Sora was leaning against Deathbird's leg, Deathbird would slowly throw Spra off and said, "Get back up, girl! We got a match still going on!" She would keep her distance as she waited for Sora to stand up. She wanted to have a good match, but if Sora was too easy, she felt that there was almost no point beating her up so easily.

Sora coughed in pain and glared up at her opponent. "I-ngh! ...I-I am getting up!" she grunted, annoyed by the taller woman's overenthusiastic urging. She brought herself up to one knee, but fell back onto both as she tried to fully stand. Sora knelt there breathing heavily for a couple moments, long enough for the crowd to start booing and chanting for some action. She scowled at the bloodthirsty audience before turning her sights back on Deathbird, and finally struggling to her feet. Once back up, she charged at Deathbird and threw a wild punch.

"Chop chop! Time is money!" Deathbird demanded as she was gettin impatient. She watched as Sora slowly stood up befor she got back in her stance. "Good, about time you-UGH!!!" Deathbird staggered back from the punch and held her cheek. Shaking it off, she said, "I've underestimated you, Sora, but not anymore! Time to show you how it's done!"

With that, Deathbird would charge and attempted a butterfly twist kick.

Sora could hardly believe her punch actually landed! And right across Deathbird's cheek too. After staggering a bit and steadying herself so she wouldn't fall over again, Sora allowed a smirk to cross her face. She stood center ring, slightly hunched over due to the pain from Deathbird's earlier blows, and put up her fists to commence with a proper fight. Her newly found confidence soon evaporated however when she saw what was coming. Her eyes went wide and she attempted to shield herself from the twist kick with her arms, but it did little save her. The force of the kick knocked her back a good couple of feet, and as she fell to the mat she skidded a foot further. Sora's body ended up skidding underneath the bottom rope, and half of her was dangling outside the ring by the time she finally stopped.

Deathbird herself was surprised when Sora managed to block her kick. "Hmm, impressive...but I would've preferred to see you hold your ground." She would walk over and attempt to grab her opponent by the feet to pull her to the center of the ring. If she can do that, she would raise the left foot up before throwing it down to the side.

Sora though she'd at least be given some kind of breather at this point, but before the pain from Deathbird's earlier kicks and punches began to fade, she found herself suddenly being dragged out to the center of the ring. Panic began to sink in as Sora realized just what was at stake her. Deathbird really meant to hurt her. As is suddenly fighting for her life, Sora began frantically kicking her legs before Deathbird could finish dragging her. She managed to get one foot free and use it to kick at Deathbird's knees.

"AGH!!" Deathbird cried out as she got kicked at the knees. She would stumble back and rub her knees in trying to relieve the pain. Gritting her teeth, she would try to grab at Sora's feet again to slam them on the ground.

Sora cried out as her legs were slammed against the mat. She rolled onto her side and clutched her left knee in discomfort, feeling as though that leg that had been more badly tweaked than the other. "Ngh...! Damn it, what's your problem!?" she snarled at Deathbird, without really looking at her. This match so far hadn't been Sora's idea of fighting "rough". It seemed more like Deathbird was trying to injure her.

Deathbird raised an eyebrow and arms up as if Sora didn't know what she was talking about. "What? This is a match and you have to use whatever you got to try and win. That's what I'm doing right now!" She would then try to turn Sora on her stomach so she can sit on her back. If this worked, she would put her opponent's arms over her knees and pull on her chin for a camel clutch.

"Like hell!! This isn't one of those crazy Hardcore matches!" Sora argued angrily, starting to feel pissed off enough to give herself a second wind. She gritted her teeth and placed her hands on the mat to prepare to pick herself back up. Before she could though, she felt herself suddenly being flipped fully onto her belly, and Deathbird positioning herself on her back. Sora panicked and began swearing angrily as she frantically tried to slip out from underneath Deathbird. She was quickly silenced however, when Deathbird put her into a Camel Clutch. Sora desperately began trying to pry away Deathbird's hands from her chin, as she kicked her feet in pain.
