Voice of Reason: With her opponent on their stomach, Xuan faces forward and reaches back to pull their legs into a boston crab.With their legs tucked under her arms, she reaches forward to wrap her arms around her opponent's neck for a sleeper. This causes both pain and the possibility of knocking out. Xuan will also whisper in their ear to give up or to fall asleep. (Added: 9/3/15)

Strategy:To try and do things on her own, and ignore that voice in the back of her head. (Not her conscience,or maybe it is...She isnt ever sure...) Usually, she is focused when not being berated by that Voice. With her prior training in combat, she tends not to miss a beat in a fight. But, she still has her mess-ups when she's caught off guard. Though, it has not been as present since she has become happier and gained a family.

Other than that,being a hired theif,Xuan had been taught and learned on her own a plethora of submissions and sleeper holds.Yet she still has the mindset that sleepers are used only as a last resort.Her submissions include mostly leglocks,if she can get someone close to that position.These were used when there was only one target,so she could Immobilize them by destroying their legs,then running away.

Personality: Xuan is ver odd when she speaks. Sometimes speaking in riddles, or in very vauge thoughts. This is to let someone off to their imagination. If she likes someone, she'll let them know for sure, at least...She'll say enough to let them figure it out. The thief has a very adamant nature when it comes to a fight, and isnt one to shy away when the fight gets tougher. Xuan has an odd sense of humor.....Very dry. She isnt very social, since she didnt really have much of a social life up until a few years ago.


Past:
In the words of Xuan:

"Long ago,I remember a time when I traveled the world as a paid thief,stealing and re-stealing for people to make my own ends meet.But,someone's tricks led to what I am now.I was never really careful and I retrieved a Golden Apple.Not thinking,I fell into my own greed and took a bite.Not much really changed....Or so I thought.Upon returning,my client was revealed to be the head of an Imperial-led group of bounty hunters.I was told the next thing I stole would become a part of me.And like a kid,I didnt listen.I stole a scarf within the next few days and the Voice appeared.The scarf bonded to me and it wont come off.And there's a voice that comes from the scarf,talking directly into my thoughts and head.Taunting me,distracting me.I lost my jobs quickly and began to wander....In dire need of money to keep me and it alive,I ended up here through the ironic guidance of the Voice."



Her parents were killed off when she was young,and she was turned in to the Thief's Guild.There,the Master took her in.Xuan trained for years,went on missions to steal from [mostly] people in power.She was punished harshly when the missions she undertook failed.Which began to happen more often when the Voice came into her life.Punishment included mostly bastinado and falaka.

When she made the top 10 in the Guild (The most elite),she saw how she had flourished as a fighter.Then....One day,while on the most important job of the entire Guild's career,they were sent to a village known for its Knife Storms,caused by magnetism.

If only...If only a few seconds came later,and her Master had more time.He was killed as the rain of knives ended,and they all flew back up into the magnetic sky....


Side facts:
-The Imperials that have been after the Thieve's Guild were destroyed days after Xuan left in a large war that occurred. Had she stayed,she would have been killed.
-Easily,she could go back.But,there was no telling whether or not she'd be accepted again.
-The Voice has not been documented to exist as an actual entity.Instead,it is more like a second conscious.Though it may easily overpower the thief's mind in tight situations. Speculation suggest that it is just her guilt.
-Xuan is bisexual,leaning much more towards women than men. (As seen with Deathbird)  
-Has fought Jay Zokaro before after the thief stole from a bakery Jay passed. She easily defeated him with her speedy attacks.

Xuan has been adopted into the Shultz family. Now being 'sisters' of Hiro and Junko Shultz. Though she was a bit reluctant, she has learned that she foes need people there for her. Actual people that will be there. Lest she's be consumed by the Voice. Slowly but  surely, Xuan will get accustomed to having a family. And a....Mother
