Sayuki vs Yi Lan

Sayuki struggled to try and get out of the headlock as her nose was bleeding, as she tried to push on the arm off her head. However Lan began to start kicking at her leg, with each hit Sayuki buckled as she tried to keep up as her leg was taking a beating. Sayuki was not willing to submit so early in the match and just from strikes as she endured as blood dripped from her face as she took hit after hit, trying to endure through the pain before trying to back elbow Lan in her wounded leg, hoping that it would give her enough time to slip out of the hold and escape...

Lan, after freeing herself from her opponentâ€s headlock and managing to give the girl quite the swift-flowing bloody nose, would not ease up on her foe, but instead continued to deliver kick after kick into her legs, looking to severely weaken her while, at the same time, setting her up for the inevitable submission that would end the first fall of this match. It was not an easy task to keep Sayuki restrained, however, and the girl would continue to try to force her way free of the headlock. Finally, with an elbow to Lanâ€s wounded leg, Sayuki managed to loosen the Chinese girlâ€s hold just enough to escape. Frustrated, Lan would quickly pivot on her good leg to face the other girl again, putting her fists up and launching a punch for the girlâ€s already-bloody face.
