Caitlin vs Kanai

Caitlin heard a loud THUD behind her and whirled around to see Kanai down on the ground. She blinked in surprise, wondering where she came from. "What happened to you?" She asked, unable to help but laugh a little. "You ok?"

"Oww, I missed?" Kanai said. Her opponent looked perfectly fine, unlike someone who had just recieved a kick to the back.

Great, now she looked like an idiot, falling out of the ring like that. Kanai's indignation soared.

Kanai shook her head. Her back felt sore from fallng like that. She wouldn't be prepared for any move her opponent makes, since she's distracted by thoughts of her own foolishness.

Caitlin didn't want to take advantage like this. Kanai might not have shown her any mercy, but she would. She reached down for her hand to offer to help her up to her feet so they could both get in the ring.

Kanai was surprised when her opponent helped her up. She had just played heel, attacking with no mercy, and yet her opponent didn't take advantage of her when she was weak?

Kanai remembered something her uncle used to say to her "The most respectable people are not those who are the strongest or the smartest, but those who help others out and ask for nothing in return; those people, no matter how much you hurt them, will always look at you and smile and ask if you need aid. Kanai, you must become that kind of a person if you want anybody to respect you."

Kanai looked at Caitlin, helping her out when it was not needed, indeed helping out an opponent during a match! She felt ashamed of what she did before, and of the anger she had.

"Caitlin, thank you," Kanai said as she got into the ring. She reached out a hand for Caitlin to grab onto to pull her into the ring as well.

Caitlin smiles a little and nods. "Don't mention it." She said before she started to climb back in the ring. "This is still a match though, so as soon as we're both in, I'm coming at you." She warned.

Kanai smiled. "Bring it," she said. As soon as Caitlin ogt into the ring, Kanai leapt backwards, putting distance in between them. she would let Caitlin attack first, just to see how the cheerleader would actually fight.

Caitlin giggled a little, trying to jump away from Kanai afterwards, smiling at her and ready to take her on. She then darted towards her, trying for a roundhouse kick to her stomach!

Kanai managed to catch the kick just before it came around. She held on tightly to Caitlin's leg, and pulled hard backwards, intending to unbalance Caitlin.

Caitlin blinked when Kanai managed to catch her foot and tried to hop forward with her. She would then try to throw her other foot around to try and strike her across the face, hoping Kanai let go of her.

Kanai had not expected the other leg to deliver the kick, but it did. She got hit right across the face, letting go of Caitlin and falling on the ground. She would be defenceless for a moment as she recovers from the blow.
