Paparazzi Woes

Johnny squeezed Taylor tightly in his arms and his strong hands slid up and down her back. He felt shitty for how this whole thing unfolded. What was he supposed to do. Especially when she looked up at him with those eyes of her.

Johnny leaned in and gave her a soft Kiss. "Taylor...." He breathed as their lips still touched. "I love ya, babe. I can't even say that enough." He looked into her eyes and then pulled away. "I don't think... going would be so bad." He turned his head. "I'm actually a little curious about what that chick's gonna say. As soon as she kissed me, I flashed my ring and walked out of the room. It seemed like that was that. I even felt a little bad for her. Shit." Johnny lifted up a hand and ran it through his hair. "I guess I shoulda expected chicks to be crazy and shit but, she didn't chase me down or scream and yell or anything. She kissed me and I stopped it and that was that. I wonder if that's how she sees it.:

Johnny looked down at Taylor. "And, everyone is expectin or wantin you to go beat the crap outta her and junk and maybe..." Johnny shrugged. "Maybe it's a good way to show everyone that that ain't you, babe? Like, no matter how much they try and rope you back in, it ain't gonna happen. If you can go on there and get through it, then I think that no one's gonna keep buggin ya after that. Maybe it's a chance to find some peace and shit." Johnny then turned his head. "Well... except for maybe Akashi. I dunno if she'll ever give it up."

"Yeah..." Taylor let herself droop forward until she was only supported by Johnny. "Bitches be crazy." She said softly.

It seemed like Johnny was putting into words the feelings Taylor had but couldn't manage to express herself. He was right. If she was going to go around claiming that things were different now and she was different, she had to show people that she wasn't going to turn into the old Taylor the moment something bad happened. No one liked the old Taylor, anyway, at least she didn't.

She couldn't help but smile up at Johnny with a lively twinkle in her blue eyes. "I knew there was a reason I married you," she said. "You're so smart."

She wrapped her arms around his waist and squeezed him as tightly as she could for a long time, and then let go and turned to face the door. "Mercy! Hey!"

Johnny grinned and held onto Taylor, letting her lean up against him as he rubbed her back. "The brain's a muscle too?" Johnny said with a sheepish grin. Johnny wasn't a dull boy but he knew he was never going to get into MENSA or anything. Hearing Taylor say it made him feel pretty good. Maybe he should do some math later? Nah. When she squeezed him, Johnny pressed her head into his chest and whens he pulled away, he let go. How things went from how they were now to how they were only a handful of minutes ago, Johnny couldn't explain. That was just how it was like to live with Taylor, he figured. As she flew off, he let out a deep sigh. He really needed to just sit down and clear his head.

"So, I'll have the PR department give you a call and we'll set everything up. See you tomorrow." Mercy hung up the phone just in time to hear Taylor's call. She turned and looked at Taylor with a tilted head and grabbed her glasses. "Have you figured out what you want to do?" She said looking past the rim of her glasses with a cute little smirk on her face.

"Yeah," Taylor said. "Put me on that show."
