Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
"Only if you take one of these, how did you call them, sliders? Sounds like a TV Series, but tastes better."
Amaya giggled before opening her mouth to also get a taste of Sushi, readying her own fork to pierce a burger on it for another exchange of food. A feeling of comfortableness washed over her while she finally realized that she had a dinner instead of a meal of half dry pizza or noodles that were only halfway warm.
"...So..."
The Japanese was looking for a topic that was nice and dandy without provoking anything that would throw a shadow on this nice meeting.
"Did you come over to Japan for work or did you immigrate?"

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
Charity giggled, gladly accepting the slider from her visitorâ€s fork. “Donâ€t mind if I do!†she said happily.
Once she had swallowed that piece, she would pick up another slider with her fork, offering it to Amaya. As they spoke, she would alternate offering sliders and sushi to her friend, and would continue to feed her until her little kawaii tummy was full!
“Oh, I came over to work here,†Charity replied. “Iâ€ve been taking classes part-time at a small college, though, and Iâ€m planning to transfer those credits back to the U.S. and go to a real institution of higher learning in a couple of years.â€

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
"Wow, so you wrestle and take classes all at once? That sounds like a lot of work."
Amaya was impressed by the hard work Charity was doing. Sadly she had never managed to get something better than a high school diploma, which had been done in the prison facility of a Tokyo prison. Not exactly the best advertisement for her career from any perspective, but what to do? Didn't matter, in the moment she was here and not on the road or the streets.
"Do your colleagues know that you...wrestle?"
Charity said that her college was small, and people would probably call her out for wrestling. Amaya was curious how chances were outside a wrestling ring for her new friend.

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
Charity blushed again. “Itâ€s not too much work…Iâ€m only taking two classes, on weeknights, and most of the matches in AFW seem to be on weekends, so my schedule isnâ€t too busy…actually, I am not usually very good with time management, and stuff like that.â€
When Amaya asked her whether her fellow students knew about her wrestling career, Charity couldnâ€t do anything but shrug. “Well, Iâ€ve never talked to any of them about it. I suppose they might watch the matches on TV, though, so…maybe?†She laughed, a little hesitantly. “Iâ€m not really sure. To be honest, it makes me a little embarrassed to think about them knowing.â€
She paused, wanting to ask Amaya about herself, too. “So, you know a little bit about me…what about you? Do you do anything outside of wrestling?â€

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
"Uhm..no."
Amaya replied, shamefully looking downward for a moment before looking up again. If Charity wanted to be friends with her, she would find out anyway.
"I worked as a Meiko, an apprentice Geisha, before signing with AFW."
She could not really say that she had been released from prison recently, that would be too embarrassing. And probably also scare Charity away.
"For circumstances that had been spiraling out of my control, I was forced to quit my real job. I have been looking for other jobs, but no respectable house would take me in. And I can't even blame them, I have no experience in or papers for anything a clerk or just a waitress would do."

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
Charity listened intently to her new friendâ€s story. It sounded like a sad one. She was glad, though, that Amaya seemed to be pulling herself up out of whatever trouble she had been in—having joined AFW, there was certainly nowhere the girl could go but up! At least, it seemed to Charity that that must be true.
There was a question, however, that Charity wanted to ask her. Blushing a little, the blonde began: “So, umm, hereâ€s something Iâ€m a little confused about. Say that you are a geisha and I am your customer—what exactly is it that you would do for me?†She giggled a little and smiled, trying to bring Amayaâ€s spirits back up.

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
"...Ehm..."
Amaya did indeed lighten up when asked about her former job.
"Lots of things! I can dance, sing, play old instruments, do a tea ceremony or other Geisha events to a certain degree and accompany the noble customer to meetings. I can also work with paper and amuse children with funny paper figurines. Further did we give tips for women who wanted to be schooled in traditional ways to find a good man. We were also arranging consorts for businessmen who have no wives and wanted to look them to be traditional. and eh..."
Now it was Amayas turn to turn red again.
"Strictly historically speaking, a Geisha is also versed in the art of seduction."

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
Charity listened carefully. She, like many Americans, did not necessarily have an excellent grasp of what exactly a geisha was. Some called them prostitutes, but Charity didnâ€t think that Amaya could have ever been anything like that.
“Oh, that all sounds fun!†the blonde kawaii exclaimed, clapping her hands together. “I would love for you to show me some of the stuff you do as a geisha, sometimes…that is, if you would like to, Amaya.â€
Now that the two of them were finished eating, Charity grabbed Amayaâ€s hand and led her over to the sofa in the “living room†corner of the apartment. Sitting down, her cheeks turned a bright red, as she had a follow-up question—one that was a little embarrassing. She hoped that Amaya wouldnâ€t be offended by it.
“Now, umm…†she began. “If you were a historical geisha, and I w-was a, uh, historical customer…how exactly do you practice this art of seduction?â€

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
After the dinner was over, Amaya leaned back to pat on her stomach for a short time, forgetting her manners in her enjoyment for a moment. Charity led her over to the couch where she quickly felt comfy.
"This will be big fun! The face paint alone is a pain when you have to do it by your own, but it's worth it when done for a friend."
Amaya was in a really good mood now, laughing and giggling while sitting on the couch.
Then the talk came about history, causing Amaya to make big eyes for a short time before her face turned red while her stomach was beginning to heat up.
"Uhm, this is hard to explain. The customer is king in this case, sometimes literally. You show some decent skin and dance until the customer wants to get more intimate, but a geisha is never cheap or easy to bed from the beginning. Hard to show without a kimono, but something like this."
She drew her shirt down on one shoulder, offering a little skin to the touch.
"And a noble born customer is not necessary noble. Etiquette goes out of the window quickly, but the geisha stays hard to get up until a certain point. At least at my hanamachi this was historically the case, as customers were either rich or noble or preferably both."

Re: A business date! Sort of...(Amaya and Charity)
Charityâ€s cheeks were as red as a tomato, but she watched with great interest as Amaya explained what it was that geishas did, historically, to seduce their noble customers. When the Japanese girl pulled down her shirt a little to expose a shoulder, Charity reached out to tenderly caress her new friendâ€s pale, soft skin, letting out a soft sound of delight as she did so.
“Mm…I think I get it,†she said quietly, taking her hand from Amayaâ€s shoulder. “So, uh, would you be willing to show me some of the other geisha moves? Unless you want to do something else right now, of course—we have time to do whatever you want…â€
She trailed off, looking inquisitively at Amaya. She wanted her guest to pick what they did, as she did not want to seem rude or bossy by demanding anything of her.
