"Conway's Crib" Feat. Eclipse!

She then marched herself past the large TV in the center to take a seat on her chair crossing her legs as she sat behind her desk. The host was none other than Kelly 'The Ghoul' Conway, and this was Conway's Crib...[/align:39j9ikhh]

The song then began to fade out and the crowd grew quiet. The Host was about to speak.

"Good Evening Sadomasochists and Uneducated and Over-Funded Drones around the world! I am Kelly 'The Ghoul' Conway and THIS is Conway's Crib! AFW's Number One Talk Show starring yours truly!" Kelly opened her show in a joyful and bright mood. Wearing Nikolette Tesla leather pilot hat that had aviator goggles on it. Treasuring the item she stole because it looked cool.

"Anyway! Ladies and Germs I've been recently and happily commissioned to have our show here tonight not on MY behave for once but on the behave of others... That's right, I, Kelly Conway am going to give back to the people and do something... Nice for someone... After their agency happily payed me but without further delay let me introduce our guests for tonight, one of the most iconic groups in the world of professional wrestling within two major Japanese promotions both past and present... Ladies and Gentleman... A team of three that are the current AFW tag team champions, with two of those individuals being solid contenders for the AFW title itself... Ladies an Gentelmen I am proud to present a group that makes this quite the special episode of Conway's crib... Japan you know em' you love em'... ECLIPSE!" Kelly let out into her mic before directing the spotlight with her finger to the far left for her guests to appear as the crowd bursted into cheers. No need for an electronic sign to tell them to do it either.

After a moment's wait the three guests on Conway's Crib took the stage. The members of Idol Group Eclipse, Chigusa Yuuki, Megumi Mutoh, and Tomomi Watanabe all stepped out into the light, waving at the cheering crowd like they were entering a wrestling ring, or just beginning a performance. In a sense they were, as interviews and TV shows were all a part of their public images. Normally they wouldn't give an interview unless something big was happening, such as the release of a new song, a promotion before a big match, the beginning of a tour or something of similar magnitude. Kelly Conway may not know, but today was a big day for all three idols. They had a huge announcement to make.

Of course, this show wasn't all about the announcement. Eclipse knew how to put on a good show, and to be entertaining meant playing along with the hostess. There was no rush. The plan was to both entertain Kelly and the crowd to a suitable point, until the announcement could be made. Given how events on Conway's Crib normally unfolded, the idols were probably the tamest guests Kelly ever had. They knew how to act on TV and in front of crowds, so there was little chance of the interview degenerating into a fight, no matter how hard Kelly pushed. Not to mention it would be three against one.

The idols weren't dressed to fight either. They all wore clothing that was not only unsuitable for fighting, but too pretty to ruin. Chigusa wore a light white shirt made of a thinly woven material that looked like it was about to flow away, with a clearly visible spaghetti strap tank top underneath that fitted her sexy body tightly and accentuated her breasts. The short shorts she wore fitted just barely around the curve of her ass and left most of her thighs exposed, with her calves covered by high boots with thin stiletto heels. Her hair, normally purple, was back to its natural black color and tied in two looped braids on the side of her head. Megumi wore a top made of a similar material as Chigusa's, though hers wasn't a button up shirt but rather closer to a sweater, and underneath she only wore a white bra. Her sexy stomach and much of her skin was visible underneath the translucent red top. Her legwear was pretty much the same as Chigusa's, high heeled boots and hot pants that fitted tightly against the idol's body. Tomomi's top was in the same style as Megumi's, though more of her back was exposed. She didn't have to worry about the straps of her bra showing because she wasn't wearing one; underneath translucent top she wore a tube top that gave a surprising amount of support to her huge boobs, which poked out quite a bit in front of her and drew the attention of most male members in the crowd.

The three idols smiled and waved as they made their way down the stage, towards the couch Kelly's guests sat in. But before they sat down they first approached Kelly to greet her. That was the professional and polite thing to do.

"Hello Conway-san, I'm glad you can have us on!" Chigusa said, extending her hand and slightly bowing her head. Megumi and Tomomi came after Chigusa, each one offering to shake Kelly's hand in turn. Afterwards, they would go to the couch and sit down, waiting for Kelly to get the show started.

The crowd was quite pleased to have Eclipse in the building as they were accepted quite warmly by the studio audience, their popularity being shown as they received nothing short of a loud standing welcome, even Kelly was standing up from behind her desk and clapping as the trio walked on stage in front of the audience. A rare sight to see and one could debate whether or not Kelly was being genuine or not.

She did however squint her eyes at the last second and look at Chigusa, who looked quite different from her usual appearance. "What the hell happened to the purple mop-head!?" Kelly thought as she put on a face for the group. Not that Chigusa's appearance was bad but she just didn't think Chigusa would change so much on her appearance. Oh well.

"I-It's my pleasure! Yes! Glad you came!" Kelly let out as she shook Chigusa's hand quickly after adjusting herself following her minor shock on the change in hair color. "Glad you came indeed... I'll get ratings out of this for sure! Haha!" Kelly thought. Knowing her show was picking up with Guests like Akashi and Taylor Parker, now Eclipse! She was only going up at this rate!

With a polite smile Kelly shook the hands of all 3 idols, welcoming the both of them and letting them make their way to the couch before Kelly sat down and turned to face the cameras and audience who were now silent.

"So tonight's show ladies and gentlemen is already special because of our guests tonight. Earlier I was told that our guests have a very special announcement for us all and THAT, we shall get to after our little interview with the three... So! First item up for bid, I-I gotta ask... Chigusa... Your hair. You don't look as school girly anymore I noticed this and it's not a bad thing at all but what brought on this change?" Kelly would say, asking about Chigusa's new look first. She was curious after all.

"What, this?" Chigusa said. It had been the first question most interviewers asked, especially since she wore her hair purple for so long some people actually thought it was her natural hair color. "Well, I changed it back to its original color!" Chigusa said. Her hair, like most Asians, was naturally black. It was the same for Megumi and Tomomi as well, though they still kept their hair dyed. "I'm going for a more natural look now. Idols these days are getting too plastic. People need to realize that the best kind of beauty is natural beauty, not some creation of a plastic surgeon!" That was a bit more confrontational than normal, but this was an AFW interview. The audience loved confrontation.

"Hey hey, don't make it sound like you're some kind of pioneer," Megumi said chidingly, "You never thought that before you changed." Chigusa blushed, smiling cheekily and sticking out her tongue at her partner. Megumi shook her head. "Honestly though, she looks a lot more mature without all that childish idol stuff. Sure she was cute, but now people can finally take her seriously as a fighter," Megumi explained, "Besides, Tomomi's the cute one!" She leaned over and grabbed Tomomi, hugging her close. Tomomi gently pushed against Megumi.

"Sempai! I'm not just your cute kohai now you know!" Tomomi said, while Megumi laughed.

"Your original hair color is brown!? Wow, I had no clue!" Kelly let out with the best acting face she had to show some enthusiasm. "Pft. Brown. How boring!" Were her real thoughts that she kept to herself like a smart little host. She kept quiet as Chigusa went on about having more of a natural look. Voicing how she felt Idols were way too fake these days. "Ditto, honey." Kelly thought just before hearing Chigusa talk about how the best kind of beauty was natural beauty. Kelly blinked a bit, surprised because that's how she felt as well. It made Kelly wish her mother could have realized the same thing. Kelly lamented briefly before cursing herself and telling herself to focus again. She was here to do her job but never cater to these fools. She couldn't! She was better than them. So what if they understood something that haunted her.

Kelly would listen in as Megumi stepped into the conversation. Kelly heard Chigusa comment on how Megumi had changed and Kelly could not see it so much. Her hair looked about the same color, only difference was her change in attire it seemed and the apparent 'cute' one of the group didn't seem to change at all. Tomomi seemed the same as ever. Actually she didn't seem so bad.

Kelly nodded at Megumi's words before she spoke. "But with all do respect Ms. Mutoh, are you suggesting people didn't take her seriously already despite being an established contender here with a long history of fighting some of the biggest names in wrestling from two companies?" Kelly asked, being honest in her question.

Kelly wasn't going up against her usual fare tonight. All three idols were seasoned actresses who could tell when someone was merely feigning interest. Given how enthusiastic Kelly's response was, Chigusa could tell she thought her normal hair color was lame and boring. Black certainly wasn't as interesting as bright purple, but Chigusa didn't mind, especially as it drew attention away from her hair and towards the rest of her body. And the color complimented her looks surprisingly well. It was a decision made by analysts and advisors, a whole team devoted to maximizing her appeal. She trusted their judgement.

Megumi got Kelly's next question. It was something they were prepared for, and a question they had been asked many times before. "Don't get me wrong, our reputation precedes us wherever we go," Megumi said, "But people do take Chigusa less seriously than they should. She's an idol first and a wrestler second, and even though she's good enough to take on anyone in this league a lot of people think she's not as strong simply because of that!"

Chigusa nodded. "Heather Sunderland thought that, before I kicked her ass!" she said, "And a lot of other people too. Plus I'm pretty small and not very strong, so people really do underestimate me. But that's a good thing! They get overconfident and it makes beating them easier!"

Megumi nodded. "But now Chigusa's gotten more serious again," she said, "I kinda miss the sailor seifuku. You were really cute in that."

Kelly nodded in agreement as Megumi stated their reputation preceded them but she couldn't help but frown just slightly when Megumi spoke on behalf of her partner and said that she was an Idol first and a wrestler second. And to achieve so much success in two leagues despite being a part timer was something that got under Kelly's skin who was forced into this business at a young age with no options but she gave this her all and worked hard.

There was no way these girls got good over night and maintained their abilities easily. Kelly imagined their lives to be very stressful. They had to be workaholics. Kelly honestly did not believe people doubted Chigusa regardless of what she wore. She felt Chigusa ended the doubts of others years ago because of her ring ability but Kelly felt she could be wrong too, Megumi looked like the tough one while Chigusa and Tomomi looked like creampuffs. Either way Kelly let go of personal feelings on the matter.

That was until Heather was brought up. Kelly grinned wide at the mention of her old enemy getting her ass kicked because she had been her usual dumb self. This news though prompted Kelly to turn her head to the side while her eyes shifted far right to give a subtle look towards the poster on the left side of the stage that had Heather with a mustache drawn across her face with 'LOSER' written in big bold red lettering.

Kelly faced the trio again when Megumi said Chigusa had gotten more serious. She leaned forward on her desk, being very attentive. "Now what exactly do you mean by More Serious? How serious is 'More Serious'? Especially with a job that one might consider 'Part-Time' for you three?" She asked. "I mean forgive me if I'm being rude..." She honestly didn't care.

"But you, Ms. Mutoh, speaking on behalf of Chigusa Yuuki, stated that she is an Idol first and a Wrestler second... So does being 'More Serious' mean you are going to put Wrestling first now? Or be super extra serious about being part-time?"

"Don't think of what we do so simply Kelly-san!" Chigusa said, "Megumi wasn't quite right with what she said. It's not that I'm an idol first and a wrestler second. I'm an Idol Wrestler! Both parts are equally important!" Chigusa was trying to erase the distinction between different parts of her job. They have already blurred and blended together; much of her Idol PR work had to do with her wrestling career, and she was so popular as a wrestler precisely because she could sell herself as an idol.

"Getting more serious doesn't have anything to do with changing our jobs," Megumi said, "It's more of a state of mind kind of thing." She pulled out her cell phone and brought up two pictures of Chigusa, one in her cute sailor seifuku, the second in her new attire, the sexy black leather. "Which girl looks tougher?" Megumi asked, handing the phone to Kelly, "That's what I mean. State of mind is very important."

Chigusa nodded. "I'm getting a bit too old to be all cutesy anyways," she said, "And most of my fans prefer the more mature look, from what I've heard." She still had cute idol costumes she wore regularly, and she had extremely sexy outfits as well. But Chigusa had a bombshell body that she wanted to show off, and her more serious look did just that.

Tomomi suddenly spoke up. "Hey Kelly, I don't mean to be rude," she said, "But what is that?" She pointed at the picture of Heather Sunderland on the wall. This drew both her sempais' attentions, who looked up and frowned.

"Ah. I see." Kelly nodded as she heard Chigusa explain herself and the term she used to describe her career. Idol Wrestler didn't seem so bad as a someone who only cared about 1 career and the other was a throwaway. So Chigusa's explanation made Kelly feel a lot better. Kelly was starting to wonder if it was Megumi who thought that way about her jobs. That being an idol was more important than something Kelly had sold her life and soul to. Perhaps sanity as well. Kelly then leaned over her desk and squinted her eyes at the image of Chigusa on Megumi's phone. Kelly shifted her eyes and sighed.

"...The girl in leather..." Kelly admitted. Perhaps she was wrong and Megumi was right? A serious look could do a lot. Kelly then heard Chigusa's words and snickered as she leaned back into her seat.

"I dunnoooo... It IS Japan after all... Most of the guys here only dig the cutesy stuff that makes you look underage." Kelly exclaimed while looking at the camera with joyful face and a light chuckle, the fans in attendance looking somewhere between offended and a bit bewildered following her comment on stereotypes of Otaku culture. Kelly sought to offend, even if it was just by a little.

Kelly then sat up upon hearing Tomomi. "Huh?" Kelly followed the direction where Tomomi was pointing and a huge grin soon slid over Kelly's face. "Oh! Why that's a poster!" Kelly said, playing cute.

Chigusa and Megumi both looked in the direction Tomomi was pointing and saw the poster of Heather with a moustache drawn crudely over her face. They both snickered a little with Megumi shaking her head. "After all this time you're still holding a grudge?" Megumi asked Kelly, knowing that this was probably about that time Heather beat Kelly in a hard fought hell in a cell match. "I'm sure she would fight you again if you asked Kelly. Settling things in the ring feels a lot better than being passive-aggressive."

The three of them turned back to Kelly. "So, got any other hard-hitting questions interviewer-san?" Chigusa asked teasingly, wondering what else Kelly had in her arsenal. They deflected the insulting barbs Kelly threw at them so far, but things were only getting started after all!
