Where did you get your tastes?

I thought about something last night. Our taste for women wrestling and mixed matches don't just happen out of the clear blue sky. At least I don't think they do. Anyways, I was thinking perhaps in this thread we could share our stories of our first encounter wrestling, or at least how do you think you developed the fetish? Where did it start?

Well...I suppose part of it started when I was little. My dad and I would watch WCW and then at some point they started introducing Medusa in the Flair-Macho Man storyline (I think...it was a long time ago so I'm not quite sure). Then I stopped watching for a little bit, but started watching again around the merger of WCW, WWF, and ECW. It was my introduction to the "gimmick" matches like bra and panties, lingerie pillowfights, and substance wrestling. It kinda just evolved from there I suppose.

I think one of my first self sexual experience was while playing Street Fighter 2, Chun Li against E Honda's bear hug (yep, thats where I get the bear hug fetish from) and Blanka's head bite

There was a long time of nothing (at least to suggest I'd get this fetish), then when I got the internet I started RPing (non sexually) and made friends with a girl on a group who I tended to flirt on and off with, one flirt we'd do is to RP (with one line description usually) bear hugging each other for no particular reason

But then I moved on and joined another non sexual RP with different friends... One day I was talking to a girl on IM who I knew through this group and whom I had never found attractive. Next to her screen name she had put some writing (can't remember exactly what) which I asked her about, she was embarrassed but explained that she was RPing with friends a wrestling match in jello. This immediately peeked my interest and I felt a little turned on from something so simple as the suggestion that it was taking place. I asked her how she was doing in it and she said not great cause she was in a tied up and being held on the floor, this got to me really turned on.

But what got me the most was that I could see what was going on and felt embarrassed to ask if I could join in the RP. Instead of asking I decided to roam around and look for similar stuff on the internet... At first finding some fiction to read, eventually I found and entered into two groups on Yahoo for cyber wrestling and RP wrestling under an alias kelseakk... I think you know the rest

My first experience started when I was very young. Back when I was in elementary school. We had a nice playground, complete with a set of monkey bars. There was this game we played where we would get in line on opposing sides and climb the rungs towards each other. When we got to the center, we had to knock the other one down, with our legs. One round, I went up against this rather cute girl. I was nervous when going into the middle with her, and she ended up wrapping her legs around my waist and pulling me off. I remember feeling really funny that night, and I couldn't seem to take my mind off that moment.

There were also plenty of times where my step sister, who was 3 years older than me, would take me and my step brother on in wrestling matches. Most of the time it was in the living room, and she liked applying bodyscissors to boot. One time she actually did it to me while we were horseplaying around in a kiddie pool.

Lemme see... after that... well, just various instances, small moments, but ones that always interested me. The mention of "Female mud wrestling" in Cable Guy, 'Celebrity mud wrestling' on a movie called UHF, the mud fight they had in Celebrity death match, Sonya kicking Kano's ass and killing him with a headscissor in Mortal Kombat(the first movie.) The scene in Stripes, Bubble Boy, the list just went on. Then I got onto neopets, where I started Roleplaying, but I got like 5 accounts frozen there, so finally I went to gaiaonline. Stayed on there for a couple of years, with two characters :Mugen_Infinite88 and The~Evil~Seductress. Yep, that's me. Then I eventually got involved in a couple of RP groups, the same ones that Kelsea did, in fact, and now I'm here.

Hmm... My interest began in... high school with the scene in The Seven Magnificent Gladiators where the slave girls wrestled. (A bit of irony; it was playing during Lent, a holy period for Catholics like me ^_^) I often fantasized about wrestling scenes like that, as I found only a few examples in movies and TV series that fulfilled my expectations.

Later I found a fan site/forum for Wrestle Angels, which I visited regularly until it died. That started my collection of pictures. 4chan and Glowfoto supplied the rest of it. Youtube supplements it with "moving pictures".

I also wrote wrestling stories on fictionpress.com as Sigil Clyne, later renamed Yatori Shizuku, until I lost inspiration. I may pick up those stories later.

I joined the AFW and stayed with it throughout its various incarnations. My flagship character Yatori reflects my tastes as they changed over the years. Originally what aroused me was the act of grappling, but now I've expanded into hentai wrestling, as many of you have witnessed ^_^.

My first experience with girl on guy wrestling probably came from my dads vhs tapes. They were grainy. They were pretty dull. But when you were bored they did the trick. That and I hate loosing. Plus my dad wanted a boy. Im naming my son Victor to spite him. The only other thing I can think of is when I beat up some girls in junior high because they said I was too pretty.

So I joined one cyberwrestling group (which didn't work out too well) and also one RP group called PGW (Pretty Girl Wrestling) for female wrestlers. The first two character I made were basically complete opposites as I wanted to explore being submissive and also dominant.. Silva, an English woman who wore a beret and was a sadomasochist (elements of this character went into creating Belinda and Mistress Natalia) and Tira, an oriental girl that had been forced into a wrestling contract and couldn't fight (elements of this character I guess went into the original concept for Magic Mia). These characters didn't have pics and despite the owner having several characters I stuck with only two, thinking I'd never need more then two >.>

Finally though the owner talked me into trying to create another character and showed me some of the pics they had.. I wanted to go for one that was cute to match off against a character he had and so found a girl with pink hair under water... Lil Lucy (with a y), my third ever character was born, in PGW she was only 14 as there was no age restrictions. Much later on when joining a rumble roses RP group, I changed the name to Luci Heliee, changed the pic (ginger hair girl wearing a football jersey and sucking on a lollipop), made her 18 and gave her a less innocent persona (This is where I met Rumbleroses for the first time).

Layne (and her manager Cassandra Sellers), the bunnies and Sandy Starlight all joined the PGW roster before the group died down as the owner went inactive... But before he did I met really old AFW members (that probably aren't with us any more) like Mr. Lovecraft, mc3c3, Badguyhere and I think anemual might have been there. The same owner created a few other groups, one that pitted girls against boys and in which Erin Suzuki was my flag girl (Charyui read Erin's character here and was tempted to AFW later)

I tried my hand at chat room wrestling too and got involved with a furry wrestling group, creating a character called "Noodles", originally a domestic house cat breed but later becoming an asian leopard cat as this breed of feline fit her rambunctious personality.. over a lengthy period of time I wrestled in 4 Furry groups and because I kept the furry side and anime wrestling side seperate, it was a weird coincidence that I later met JayThunder, Giles Ahrun, Psychopatrick and Raiye on my AFW group after having seen most of them in furry wrestling groups and without them knowing I played Noodles!!! (I even wrestled Raiye's furry character and still didn't realize who it was after our first match here " title="Razz" /> )

Its funny how some members past seem to be entwined like that lol...

Phew... this extends back quite a ways...

I played a lot of video games in my youth, and brawlers and the old wrestling style games really appealed to me. I was very young, but the image of two large fellows duking it out in a comic-book/video gamey style definitely appealed to my younger self, in a way that wasn't really sexual (Or at least I'm 90% sure it wasn't sexual given how resistant my libido is to the concept of swinging the other way.).

At some point, I think at the time of puberty where boobs started getting round and highly noticeable, somewhere along the lines of adding women into the mix got thrown in. I explored emulation and found whatever the Beauty Girl Wrestling SNES variation was. Needless to say, I was a big fan of the series soon after. Mix that with the Official Women of Wrestling site and seeing precisely one commercial for a 3am WoW match (And later finding the subsequent website) and my fetishes started early.

I developed a taste for the powerful ladies thanks to this lass, a couple of other ones from that SNES rom (Especially this image, though it looks much better back in 800x600 and stretched in MS Paint two or three times... and a selection of the burlier women from OWOW.

Sidenote: Wow, what a trip down memory lane. I committed to memory (For one reason or another) http://www.geocities.com/wowmegafan as that was one of my first sources of material, and that site is still up. I was never really exposed to scissors at a young age, but I sure as shit was primed for them given the lovely legs on display in WoW promo materials.

Apart from some delectably brutal Bloodrayne fanfiction and the unearthing of followers that comes with rallying banners like Rumble Roses, I did not realize such a wondrous place like AFW existed until recently. :3

I won't say I started a fetish in my early 10 years. But in Brazil, 21 years ago, Pro-Wrestling was struggling to survive and some TV stations started to air some Pro-Wrestling shows. Be the Gigantes do Ringue (Giants of the Ring), be WWF, be GLOW.

I was way more interested to watch GLOW *renembers the good moments watching this show as well as the bad moments... Like Suzy Debutant getting her arm broken.*

Anyway, one year later they stopped to air Female Wrestling and I didn't had a touch with it for a long time. Utill my early 20's when a program aired an article about "Sex with a beating", showing the interest in men to fight or to be dominated by (usually stronger) women using wrestling holds and the whole wrestling fetish industry.

Of course I got interested. And this is when I really started to have a thing about wrestling...

Two years later, when I got net acess, I started to browse and search for female wrestling pictures and stories. In that time, the Dalnet channel "Pain-n-Passion" was quite popular and the first female wrestling site I visited was Barb's Wrestling Women (I guess that's the name altough the site don't exists anymore but there's rumor someone rebuild the site as a kind of tribute. and that site is great imo).

Nowadays, my passion about female wrestling/fighting is reflected in some pictures I draw (yep. I'm an artist. not a good one... At least I think so...) altough most of them involves anthropomorphic (Furry) characters... And talking about it, I need to draw some human female wrestling as well. ¬.¬
