So I'm just curious...is there a term we can use for the ladies of Friction and Tension? Some general term to refer to the fighters of AFW with?

I'm going to disregard Rumble Roses and Wrestle Angels because they have names that easily lend itself to a plural for the ladies in them.

In WWE and TNA the ladies are in the minority and generally play second fiddle to the male wrestlers.. However in AFW ladies aren't playing second fiddle and are taking center stage. Males in WWE and TNA tend not to be referred to by anything specific, usually generic things like "wrestlers" and "superstars"... My assumption is that in a world where females dominate the world of wrestling and where the name of the franchise (AFW) doesn't easily conjure a name for them... they would be referred to in a similar fashion as males are in WWE and TNA in our world...

Wrestlers... Superstars... etc. Although I'm sure there would be some referred to as "Beauties" or "Honeys" and similar type references (most of the audience are male after all!)

'Superstars' is the official term for the males in the WWE. It's a proper term, capitalized and everything, soo...yeah. :X

Superstar refers to any high profile athlete... WWE just use it more often then elsewhere.

Right, but they also use it as the specific term for their male wrestlers.

A couple of the games even have them sorted on the character select screens as 'Superstars' and 'Divas'.

in the AFW world, that computer game "Friction vs.Tension 2013" would have the females as superstars and the males as diva's... or something <img src=

Tension's roster is still comparable to Raw... so yeah.

What about Bros, Bitches, and Hoes. Friction = Bitches, Tension girls = Hoes, Tension guys = Bros. This doesn't bode well for the Tension girls, given the adage "bros before hoes". Bitches, as well as snitches, get stitches, which is nothing new to anyone, and they have no real competition in Friction.
