The sound of a large bell rang through the arena's speaker system. After a moment of silence it rang again and the song "For Whom the Bell Tolls" blasted throughout the stadium. A woman wearing a Shinto priestess dress walked down the ramp. She had long flowing brown hair that stretched down past her waist but her face was covered by a kitsune mask. The girl didn't look at any of the audience she passed closely on the floor. She honestly didn't really want to bother with the people because she didn't want to make them happy or entertain them. After all, it wasn't about them. It was about her.

Angel jumped to the side of the ring, then to the corner turnbuckle. She looked up for a brief moment before leaping down and rolling to her feet. She slowly walked over to the corner and looked back up to the ramp. The woman clenched her fists tightly. She knew who her opponent was. In a way, she had fought the other woman before. Sort of. Ambushing someone with a steel chair didn't really constitue a match. One thing she was certain of was that it was another proud, popular idol. And she hated those kinds of people.

Dark Angel removed the loose sections of her dress revealing mid-thigh long black tights and matching elbow and knee pads. She kept her mask on as she waited for Chigusa Yuuki to enter the arena. She was very anxious, and it was visible to the audience. They couldn't see it on her face, but the way she clenched and unclenched her fists over and over again while pacing in the corner of the ring made it obvious. Dark Angel was ready.

Chigusa Yuuki's heart was beating with excitement. She looked at herself in the mirror, fixing her outfit while also admiring her new look. She had just gone through a complete makeover, or rather she reverted to her natural state. Her hair wasn't naturally that shocking shade of purple after all; that was all dye. Her schoolgirl uniform and purple hair was meant to appeal to a crowd that loved "moe", the ultra-cute style that was all the rage a few years back. But that time was over. Now, like most of the mainstream, they wanted to see what their dolled up idols really looked like. Chigusa planned to deliver. After all, it wasn't the makeup or the hair that made her beautiful; she was called the "Perfect Beauty" for a reason, and she was sure her natural look was just as fetching as the purple-haired schoolgirl she used to be.

"Introducing, your favorite idol, the Perfect Beauty Chigusa Yuuki!" the announcer yelled, and the crowd burst into cheers. Chigusa took that as her cue and stepped out while her music began playing over the speakers. The idol struck a pose for the cameras, planting her hands on her hips and grinning, the big titantron screens showing everyone in the crowd her new look. There was a little hesitation as some members still loved the moe cute Chigusa, but the vast majority approved of this more mature and sexy look. Especially when the camera zoomed in for a shot of her cleavage. The nearly transparant netting put it neatly on display, and that the crowd approved of greatly.

"Hey! My face is up here!" Chigusa said teasingly to the cameraman. She gave him a wink, then blew the crowd a kiss through the titantron before running down the ramp. Even if her look changed, Chigusa was still the same speedy athletic idol. She jumped onto the ring apron in one bound and then flew over the ropes, landing without even wobbling. She turned to face her opponent.

The idol couldn't find out much about Dark Angel. The girl was brand new and she fought masked. She was a little apprehensive at first, since the last time she fought someone with a Kitsune mask it had been Natalia, and she got beaten badly. But this girl obviously wasn't Natalia. She was small, even shorter than Chigusa. The idol decided to be magnanimous. She stepped forward and extended her hand in greeting.

"Yo newbie! I'm Chigusa Yuuki, let's have a great match!" she said brightly, not knowing who it was or what kind of history they had.

Dark Angel had her arms crossed as the idol's theme song blasted throughout the arena. The crowd lit up at seeing Chigusa on the titantron, but the masked kitsune wasn't impressed at all. Even she admitted that Chigusa's new look was refreshing and a more matured look. But at the same time, she felt it was still the same young girl on the inside. And that alone was enough to make her irritated. It was that overconfident, overly happy personality that Talia hated so much. She had her experiences with girls like Chigusa, and they alone had made her bitter and annoyed by them. It didn't help that Angel was a little jealous of Chigusa's popularity either.

As the girl leaped into the ring, Angel remembered what she was capable of. As much as she wanted to think Chigusa was a pushover from her old look, Angel knew better than to assume that. Though the two shared similar strengths and talents, Chigusa had far more experience with their build. On the plus side, Angel knew what the idol was capable while it wasn't the same for Chigusa. Luckily, she didn't know quite yet that they had already had an encounter in the past. Though she wasn't afraid of the idol, Angel didn't feel it was necessary to tell her of that incident. Though I did help her win. Chigusa may not have been the target of her attack, but she doubted the girl cared one way or the other.

When Chigusa walked up to her and offered her hand with a cheerful smile, Angel just stared at her. The masked girl wasn't about to let herself be distracted by kindness and good sportsmanship. She already had bad experiences being a nice girl and wasn't keen on repeating those experiences. Still, it felt awkward to not respond to the idol. "I'm not a newbie," Angel growled as she reached out to shake the girl's hand. However, her grip was strong and she didn't release her hand. "And believe me, it'll be a great match," she added while gritting together her teeth and staring into Chigusa's eyes.

Chigusa frowned when her handshake got rebuffed. This girl had a pretty big attitude, almost as if she didn't like Chigusa for some reason. That wasn't a surprise to the idol. Lots of wrestlers didn't think being an idol made her a serious opponent, and a certain few felt like she was insulting their sport. It was a little annoying to Chigusa that so many wrestlers had such an attitude. They were all entertainers, and if she played up the crowd a bit more than the rest of them then it was her choice. It made her more popular, so whatever. But this girl didn't seem like she was mad at Chigusa. The idol detected a foreboding aura around her, like she had some serious unresolved issues she was working through. And she said she wasn't a newbie... perhaps she was some returning wrestler? Someone coming back to settle some scores? Chigusa hoped she wasn't one of this girl's targets, if that was the case.

"No handshake? Alright then," Chigusa said, "If you don't want to be treated like a friend, then I'm not going to." She lowered her hand and turned away in a huff, acting more displeased than she actually was. Really she didn't care either way. Chigusa wanted to win this match, and now her opponent's attitude just gave her more resolve. Whatever ego trip this girl was going through, Chigusa was going to put a screeching halt to it!

The idol went back to her corner and bounced a little on her feet. Her ass bounced in the tight back hot pants. She quickly warmed up her muscles and got the blood flowing quickly. It was time to fight! She turned around and stared deep into the eyeslits on Angel's mask. "Let's get this match on!" she shouted, her fighting spirit ignited to a blazing fury. She was eager to see what this girl was capable of.

Angel couldn't help but smirk by Chigusa's reaction. The idol seemed to already understand her point of view. After all, they weren't friends, why bother with pleasantries with someone you're to exchange blows with shortly. Shaking hands was fine and all for people in friendly circumstances and interactions. A wrestling match was anything but friendly. And even if they weren't to fight, Angel was pretty certain she wouldn't want to be friendly to Chigusa anyways. From the way she walked and fed the crowd, she acted more like a model than a fighter. Angel wasn't about to get outdone by an opponent like her. If anything, she'd enjoy tormenting the idol in front of the very crowd that so openly loved her.

The masked wrestler paced around her corner of the right. As much as she wanted to beat the crap out of Chigusa, she knew it was to be a difficult match for her. The two shared styles, and Chigusa was clearly the more experienced one. But Angel did have a plan. The bell rang three times to signal the start of the match. Immediately, Angel closed in on Chigusa with both her arms up defensively. "Come on now, perfect beauty," she shouted as she crossed the ring, making sure to put a tone of sarcasm on the idol's new nickname. When she got close enough, she'd lunge forward with both hands to try and grapple with the idol. "Let's see how strong you really are, Chigusa!"

Hearing the bell, Chigusa stepped out of the corner, raising her arms to get ready to strike. Angel stepped forward as well in a defensive stance. The woman's words made Chigusa smile. "I like that spirit," Chigusa said. So her opponent wanted to look down on her? That was fine, so long as she could back up those big words with actions. Chigusa wasn't sure just how strong Dark Angel was, but given her rather small size and slim stature, she couldn't be much stronger than the idol. Looks were deceiving of course, Chigusa knew that best. But the idol was confident in her own skills and her strength, and she decided that if this woman wanted to make an enemy, then she would show no mercy when fighting her!

Chigusa quickly stepped forward. She opted for a more direct attack, trying to test Angel's defences. "Yah!" she yelled, quickly getting into striking range. She raised a leg and in one smooth motion turned her body and fired off a kick, aiming the flat top of her foot straight at Angel's stomach!

Dark Angel was glad that the girl was just as interested in getting the match started as she was. Hopefully it meant there wouldn't be anymore awkward silences in conversation. At least until she started a monologue. She originally had hoped to test the girl's strength in a grapple but that changed as soon as Chigusa charged at her as well. She had been expecting the girl to come off strong, so she wasn't surprised when the idol started off with a kick as soon as she was in range. Angel was carrying too much momentum with her to simply dodge the kick, so she had to do something else.

Her hands shot straight down to catch Chigusa's leg mid-kick. The impact of her boot against Angel's bare hands made a loud snapping noise, but it stopped most of the force behind the idol's kick. The masked wrestler grunted from the minor impact, but didn't have time to rest. She had to counter the move instantly or else Chigusa would just follow it up with something else. So Angel immediately tried to spin the girl around to her right. She had hoped without any balance the idol would either stumble or spin back around. "Around you go!" Either way, Angel would dive at the girl to try to bring her to the ground with a rather un-elegant tackle.

Chigusa was a little surprised when Dark Angel brought her hands down and caught Chigusa's quick kick. The idol thought she kicked hard and fast enough to break through Dark Angel's defenses, but the girl had quick reflexes. The idol prepared to launch a follow up, attempting to use her other leg to deliver a much more powerful kick to the back of Angel's head, using Angel's arms as a support, but before she could her opponent threw her leg off to the side. This unbalanced Chigusa and gave Angel the opportunity she needed to strike at the idol!

"Ah!" Chigusa gasped as Angel tackled her around her waist and took her down to the ground. Chigusa let out a grunt as her back hit the mat. The takedown hurt, but Chigusa bit her way through the pain and moved to pay Angel back. Her long and powerful legs kicked up and snapped around the girl's slim waist to squeeze her in a painful scissor hold, hugging her close around her body. If she was successful, her hands would shoot up to grab Angel by her ears to yank her down to the idol's body to keep her from using her arms!

Dark Angel had hoped her counter and tackle were quick enough that Chigusa wouldn't be sure what to do next. It wasn't that she underestimated the idol's abilities, she was just hoping she wasn't as quick as she was on tape. "Mhm..." she grumbled as she felt the girl's legs squeeze around her sides. She even made sure to hold her as close as possible so Angel didn't have much room to use her arms to free herself. "God damnit..." she muttered under her mask, not wanting to be too loud in her frustration. She tried to pull her head away from the idol but a sudden sharp pain in her ears made her stop.

Out of frustration, Angel tried swinging her arms with what little room there was at Chigusa's sides but after only two hits she realized it wasn't going to be hurting the idol that much. As the pain in her sides started to elevate, she tried to wrap her arms around Chigusa's upper body to lift her off the mat. Even though the idol had an inch on her in height, Angel did have more weight on her. Though she managed to lift the girl off the ring mat, it was only about an inch before she had to take a breath. The constricted legs caused the breath she needed to hurt, leading to her dropping Chigusa back to the mat.

She continued to grunt in discomfort as she slid Chigusa forward towards the ropes opposite of her. "Let go of me you bitch..." she whispered loudly as they were to reach the ropes, where she would reach out to grab onto one of them in hopes the ref would force the idol to release her.

Chigusa moved quickly to secure her hold over Angel, knowing that even if she had a grip on the girl she was still at a disadvantage. Being on top meant Angel could do all sorts of things, from smothering her out to choking her to just pummelling her with those fists. But with Chigusa hugging her so close, dragging her head down and keeping her in place by the ears, she limited every avenue of attack the girl had. The two hits barely even registered in Chigusa's mind. Chigusa retaliated by squeezing down harder. Her powerful thighs pulsed every time she applied more pressure, muscles rippling under the idol's smooth flawless skin. Chigusa was actually grinning. She had the advantage for sure now.

But Angel surprised Chigusa when the girl began lifting her up off the mat. The idol hadn't expected Angel to be so strong; she looked rather slender under those robes. Maybe desperation gave her more strength? Either way, the idol had no time to think about it. Angel lifted her up only a little bit in part because Chigusa kept her from breathing. But she was making her way towards the ropes, and Chigusa did not want to lose her momentum.

"Let you go? Alright," the idol said, as she suddenly released Angel and fell to the mat! But she didn't do it out of the goodness of her heart. As she let go, she curled her legs tightly against her body and planted her feet against Angel's stomach! "I'll let you go!" Chigusa yelled, as she pushed upwards, grabbing onto Angel's collar to try and monkey flip the girl over her head, slamming her backfirst against the mat!
