Shiori and Clyde - The Aftermatch

Shiori giggled again as she saw Clyde hesitating for a bit before he eventually ate the ramen she feed to him. It's another nostalgic scene for her, although, her kouhai's reaction at that time was cuter. She smiled and offered the boy the spoon which contained the ramen's soup.

"Now for the soup~" she would say gleefully as she fed Clyde once more. When it's all done, Shiori would place the chopsticks and the spoon back on the bowl before sliding it back towards herself. She would then look at Clyde to hear his opinions.

"Well, was it good?" she would ask.

Chewing down on the ramen before eventually swallowing it, Clyde's eyes lit up at how good the dish tasted. He had instant ramen before and never thought it was anything special but the ramen that Shiori had was actually quite good and left Clyde's tastes buds with a sweet surprise.

"Soup?" Clyde questioned but could not answer more than that as he was forced to open his mouth to taste the soup. "Mm!" He let out excitedly, liking his lips following the delicious taste of the soup that was nice and warm and packed a good amount of flavor to it.

"Y-Yeah it was good! Might have ta' take some to some to go with me before we leave!" Clyde declared happily before he looked down at his untouched burger. "Would you like some of this? I can cut a piece off." Clyde suggested. A little unsure about the offer considering the fact he didn't even know if the burger was even good, but he was trying to be generous and fair to Shiori, she did feed him after all and Clyde felt he should do the same.

Shiori was delighted that Clyde seemed to like the ramen. She wasn't sure at first if a foreigner like him would like Japanese food, but she guessed that since he's been here for a while, he must had tried some of the local cuisines as well. The girl was about to continue eating when she heard him offered his food, probably to return the favor she did to him earlier.

"Sure~" Shiori said with a sweet smile at Clyde's offer.

Being a regular to this place, she already knew that the burger was good. She tried it before, but since the boy was trying to be nice and all, she decided to accept his good will. Shiori would drink her lemon tea to clear the taste of the ramen she had before she wait for Clyde to offer his food to her.

Clyde seemed to smile a lot more when it became clear that Shiori was happy to see that he enjoyed the ramen. He didn't understand why that made him feel good but it did quite a bit. Maybe he just liked making pretty girls like Shiori smile.

Still, to be nice and return the favor he decided to share his burger with her. He almost just picked it up and handed it for her to take a bite of, but felt that wouldn't be the gentlemanly thing to do and decided to take a knife and cut off a piece of the burger and then jab it with a fork.

"Alright... Say Ahh..." He muttered while edging the small piece towards her, small enough for her to easy take in, hoping she'd enjoy the dish that Clyde had not even tasted yet and consisted of lightly melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard.

Shiori chuckled as Clyde mimicked her action earlier with him trying to feed her. She played along and leaned forward, letting an "Ahh..." before she bite the burger from the fork. It tasted good as she expected.

"Mmm~" she would say as she munched the burger until she swallow it. "It's good."

Shiori would then drink her ice lemon tea again before she would resume eating her ramen. Having a diner after a fun match like this was kind of an ideal night for her, especially since she got herself company. It could have been better, but she wasn't about to complain. Clyde seemed to be a nice boy, and he's cute too, in a way.

"Hey, Clyde-kun?" she would ask after a while. "What should we do after this?"

Clyde smiled pleasantly as he fed Shiori, his cheeks a bit red as he did this for her, feeding her like she fed him earlier. Her smile making him smile just as much. He couldn't explain why but seeing Shiori happy made him happy as well for some reason. He didn't think about it too much.

"Heh. Hope so! Hate ta' think I paid for somethin' that wasn't any good..." Clyde remarked jokingly. "...Guess I'd just have to take your ramen if that was the case, girl." He adding, still joking around.

Clyde then went about eating the burger himself and was surprised by how good it tasted. The coke was great too, tasted a lot better than a shot of whiskey. He liked this company he had with Shiori, her presence made him feel like he wasn't so alone anymore. He'd never say that out loud though.

His eyes then picked up when Shiori spoke to him, picking his head up to reveal a crumb covered face from the burger. Her question leaving him unsure. "Uhhh.... Not really sure, Ma'am. You wanna get a movie 'er somethin'? Or head over to The Omega Hotel? I'm stayin' there and the 'AF-dubya' pays for all the expenses." He would add. Before his face turned a bit red at the thought of him going home with Shiori and would could happen in the hotel.

Shiori only smiled as she heard Clyde's remark about the food, and what he'd do if it didn't turn out to be tasty. She definitely wouldn't allow him to do that, but then again, she was familiar with the food here to know that such thing wouldn't likely to happen. Hearing the boy's answer to her question, Shiori's eyes blinked once before she stared at Clyde.

"And I thought you're some rich person staying in a hotel and all... Turns out someone else is paying for you..." she would say, faking a disappointed look. "Ah well, I'm not really in the mood for movies now. I wouldn't mind going to the hotel with you," she said afterwards. "But no funny business, okay~?" she finished with a teasing sentence, making an implication that Clyde was probably planning for something.

Of course, she was just teasing him like she's been doing ever since their meeting. Clyde didn't seem like a person who'd trick girls and rape them or something, at least she hoped so.

"Huh? Well... It ain't like I'm poor... Just means I can get ya whatever ya" Clyde mumbled nervously to Shiori as he saw her faked disappointed look. He certainty didn't want to look like he was incapable or anything, but he was still pretty glad that she at least wanted to go to his hotel, despite being her prisoner.

"Heh... O-kay... I mean of course!" Clyde muttered. The way Shiori teased him with that sultry voice made Clyde met melt a bit, before he caught on to what Shiori was telling, making Clyde shake his head before he tried to assure Shiori that there would be no funny business. Which honestly wasn't his style at all.

So he'd stand up from his seat and throw some cash down after they had been handed the bill earlier, leaving a decent enough tip behind as well. "Ready?" He'd ask before extended his arm out to Shiori for her to hopefully take and then lead her out of the place.

After she finished her meal and Clyde paid for the bill, Shiori raised from her seat as well and took the boy's hand to follow him to his place. It's kind of weird, that as the captor, she was the one who follows Clyde but Shiori wasn't about to give a second thought about it. A hotel room would definitely be nicer than her apartment for them to talk or play or whatever was going to happen...

"Sure," she said with a smile as she wrapped her arms around his.

She probably didn't need to be that close, but once in a while getting close with a boy wasn't a bad thing. It felt nostalgic and all, but Shiori thought that this way she could also keep Clyde in check. It's not like she's expecting him to run away, but hey, he did joke around about it, so Shiori thought that she's going to play along further with him until they reached the hotel.

For Clyde, it felt like years since he had felt the warmth of another on his arm in such an intimate way. He knew Shiori wasn't getting all lovey dovey with him and he had no problem with that. But Clyde still remembered what it was like when he had someone like Heather holding onto him. It was something he missed and while he and Shiori didn't really have a bond it brought back memories all the same. Perhaps that was why Clyde was so fond of Shiori in a way he couldn't explain. She reminded him of Heather in many ways and Clyde was happy to have this nostalgic feeling again. But at the same time he worried about that desire as well. Part of him didn't want to remember her. Plus he felt bad for thinking about someone else while he was with Shiori. He had to make sure not to share that.

As the two walked out of the restaurant, Clyde looked over at Shiori and just smiled warmly at her while they marched down the sidewalk. Clyde felt awesome with Shiori on his arm. Like he was The Man in Kyoto. The Big Boss. But he quickly remembered soon enough that he wasn't what Shiori wanted. He grew curious now.

"Hey, Shiori..." Said Clyde. "...What's that Dude like? What do ya like about him?" He'd ask.
