Ladder Match- Heather vs Rei

Rei looked back at Heather before placing the ladder against the turnbuckle as she turned to face Heather oblivious to what she took from under the ring. Rei took a few breaths as she wiped the sweat from her brow. Rei wasn't exactly in the best state either but, she had always been a glutton for punishment. Her resilience is something she prided herself on as she grinned at Heather.

"Heh... it's only an ends to a means..." Rei said shrugging as she then smiled. "Don't take it personally Heather... you know what's at stake in this match. That's what makes this so exciting!"

Rei exclaimed as she ran forward with a smile on her face clenching her hand and molding it into a fist. Rei blindly sprited towards Heather trying to deck her with a haymaker.

Heather would watch as Rei looked over at her. Heather would grit her teeth, wincing as she put on that she was straining herself pulling herself up onto the apron. As long as she could make Rei think that she was hurting, that she had her good, she could lure the girl right into her trap, right into the thumbtacks that she layed out on the outside.

"Kh...shut up.." Heather let out, glaring at Rei as she saw her shrug and heard her words. "She won't be smiling in a second.." She thought to herself, still glaring at her.

As Rei would charge straight towards her, Heather would grip the ropes tightly, leaning back and pulling on them, wanting to force Rei over them and right into the Thumbtacks.

"Raahhhh!" Rei charged forward oblivious to Heather's plan as she rant toward the rope and was flipped out of the ring and went flying hard onto the floor just outside of the ring. "Ugh..." Rei expected a ahrd impact and brace herself but, the girl made a horrifying discovery as soon as she hit the mat with a thud. Tacks dug into her back, piercing her skin the girl screamed in pain as she thrashed onto the mat as she was even bleeding a bit from the tacks. Lying on her back, she opend up her hand to scoop up whatever she landed on.The girl emerged sitting up, her hands shaking from the trauma as every bit of her body cried out in pain as she looked into her hand. 'T-tacks? But, why are they here...' Rei thought to herself as she wearily looked at them. 'No she wouldn't....She did!' She looked up to look at Heather at first she shook with pain but, now she shuddered in anger as she clenched the hand that held the tacks. Squeezing the tacks as drops of blood dripped from her palm down to her wrist before she tossed the bits of metal behind her. Rising to her feet, enraged but, falling onto one knee dizzy from the aftershock of the fall. Her eyes ever so fixed on Heather as her teeth seethed with anguish for the girl who stood before her. Trying to stand back to her feet, she roared in anger.

"HEATHHEERRR!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. "You just.... made a HUGE! Mistake!"

Heather would turn and watch Rei collide with the tacks, causing her to wince just a bit before she would grin widely, dropping off the apron and onto the outside again, shaking her leg out a little more as she did. She would see the blood that built up on the girl's back, nodding her head as she would watch Rei grab the tack and then start squeezing them in her hand. "U-uh....don't know how smart that is.." Heather would let out, tilting her head a bit, watching as the girl was incredibly angry. She would see her try to get up before falling onto one knee, keeping trying to pick herself up.

"Did I? I think it's quite the opposite. I think I just pushed myself one step closer to winning." She would respond, grinning widely as she watched her get to her feet, bracing herself as she did. "Let's go then, come and get me." She would let out, trying to play on Rei's anger while trying to subside her own.

Panting, Rei quivered as she eyed the smug look on Heather's face. Watching the other grin at her misery was enough to set her off as she dashed forward. The girl would immediately try and just tackle Heather to the ground. The Cosplay fighter wasn't thinking to clearly all she could think about is getting ontop of Heather and just wail on her. Rei would attempt to do just that run straight at Heather and try to force the other girl onto her back and try to get a slug fest going. However, Rei wasn't in her best physical or mental condition making her reckless tackle making it more then just possible for an opportunity to counter.

"You're dead Sunderland!" Rei said as she tried to take the other girl down.

Heather would nod her head, watching as Rei definitely was taken in by all the anger that she was feeling. It couldn't have been more perfect. The girl's anger was clouding her mind even more than it had done to Heather, and Heather loved it. All she had to do was continue to play on that and she figured she could play Rei all the way to her victory. She would hear her yell out, that line almost making her break out in laughter. The last person who said that, Heather remembered, ended up being the one she beat to gain the contract that gained her the number one contendership.

As she charged her though, Heather could see right through her, easily knowing how to counter. She would sidestep a little, trying to catch Rei's ankles with her legs, attempting to send her slamming down on her face with a drop toe hold.

Rei couldn't bare to hear the other girl's laughter anymore and that blinded her to Heather's counter. Rei ran straight at her without thinking and that cost her, big time and perhaps bigger than even Heather realized. Rei tripped over Heather's legs and fell face first into the steel steps behind the turnbuckles. "Uhhhhh!!" Rei rolled onto her back groaning into her hands as she was in horrid amount of pain, her legs kicking at the ground while her eyes watered with pain. She would immediately turn onto her stomach and try to crawl away from Heather, the blow to the head had woken Rei up a little. Rei knew she needed time to recover, she needed to get away from Heather right away. The girl's breath quivered as she crawled, she was afraid of what Heather would do if she caught her.

Bringing Rei down with the drop toe hold, Heather would hear the thud from the girl's head colliding with the steps, causing Heather to wince a bit again. It definitely wasn't what Heather was planning to happen, just wanting to bring her down on the floor, however Heather wouldn't complain about that for a second. The match was just looking too good for Heather right now and she wouldn't want it any other way. Heather would nod her head, turning to the ladder that was resting against the ring and picking it up.

"Well I wonder if you're regretting getting yourself into this ladder match now Rei? It's not nearly over." She would let out, stepping over to Rei who was crawling away. She would raise the ladder above her head, trying to drop it down hard on top of Rei.

Rei weakly clambers on the ring floor as she crawls away only to have Heather stand over her. Weakly, she groaned as Heather, lifting the ladder, sent the steel object crashing ontop of her. Rei's back felt the sting of the steel and then the weight behind it. Rei didn't have the enrgy to yelp or scream, she just took it as she lay at Heather's feet unable to move from her current position. Rei remained silent unable to move as she took far too much damage, she let out a breathe and try and catch Heather off guard and scamper underneath the ring to get away from her opponent. She would try and come up from the other side dragging the extra tall ladders that lay hidden under the ring.

Slamming the ladder down on top of Rei's back, Heather would stretch herself out, ready to do some more damage to the girl before she would suddenly see her slip underneath the ring away from her. Heather would click her tongue just a bit before calming herself, letting out a long sigh, shrugging her shoulders. She would slide into the ring, standing in the center and waiting for Rei to pop out. "..Stay under there if you want, I'll just grab the win." Heather would let out, leaning against one of the corners, letting out another relaxed sigh as she waited for the girl to enter the ring, not seeing that she had pulled out the large ladder.
