[Pendant Match] Standard: Rei Tomizawa vs Natasha Loclear

"Yes!" Rei said as she celebrated landing her counter-slam. Looking up at her opponnent as she was confused by Natasha's attempts to choke her, it was certainly an original choke and no doubt effective. However, the cosplay fighter wasn't going to just lay there while her opponent applied the choke. Once NAtasha applied the choke, Rei could feel Natsha's leg squeeze at the side of her neck and her foreamr digging against her throat. "Maybe-ugh! You should listen to your own advice!" Rei said grinning as Natasha's choke was already making her feel light headed. Rei immediately began standing up as she stood on all fours and then grabbing her opponent's hips.

Rei then got onto her feet as she was still in her crouched position before lifting Natasha's weight with herlegs and her back. Rei stood up straight only for a second before giving a battle cry on her way down slamming Natasha's back hard against the mat with a deadly powerbomb!

Natasha locked in her improvised choke hold on Rei while enjoying the puzled look on the woman's face as she clearly had not expected her to do that. Putting on the pressure as soon as she could Natasha wanted to tire the rather energetic woman out, keeping her grounded seemed to be the best strategy at least at the moment, wear her down with submissions and then finish her with one big move. Of course Rei wasn't going to make it easy on her but she hadn't expected her to grab her hips, Natasha now the one confused as to what the girl was up to.

It wasn't long until she figured out exactly what Rei was planning however and she didn't like it, unable to do much more than hang on by her leg and keep the choke hold applied as Rei lifted her into the air. "No no no!" Natasha cried out just before a sharp pain erupted in her back from the powerful slam from Rei, groaning in pain as she arched her back. Whether she hadn't planned for it or had simply ignored it Natasha didn't know, but she had maintained the choke hold even as she struck the mat, the very force Rei used to slam her down helping to drive the forearm of Natasha into her neck. The power bomb also broke the hold leaving Natasha sprawled on the mat gingerly rubbing her back as she tried to roll away from Rei. "Next time you should think before you act Rei."

Rei nearly gagged as she felt Natasha's forearm dig into her throat on her way down but, she was sitting up in a straight posture. This wasn't because she was smart enough to do think that way but, rather she had no reason to lean forward. However, Rei was still drained from the choke she was put through as she fought for air. Rei took a few deep breaths as she leaned back. As she made it onto her back, she snagged Natasha's right ankle under her arm before she could roll away.

"Sorry thinking isn't my area of expertise... it's doing and winning!" Rei said ass he leaned back and began putting pressure on Natasha's knee joint as her opponent's leg lay across her body and her legs would be both across Natasha's body as she tried to secure a knee bar. Rei grinned, joint locks happen to also be her area of expertise as well. These were the type of submissions she had to use against Natasha. The cosplay fighter knew from experience that flexibility didn't help at all against this category of submissions. This is because regardless of how flexible someone their joints and bones still break just like everyone else. Extending her free hand as a precaution as she cranked back on Natasha's leg trying to bend her straight knee in the opposite direction of where it was supposed to bend.

Natasha had hoped her last second surprise for Rei would be able to separate them but the woman was proven herself to be quite the tough opponent, her move connecting almost as well as she could have hoped for but not bringing her down. Knowing she needed to create some distance from the clearly good at counters Rei Natasha tried to pull herself back, but before she could get out of her reach the former wrestle angels star managed to hook her foot beneath her armpit, Natasha squirming as best she could but Rei had the hold locked in before she had a chance to escape from it.

A smirk came to Natasha's lips as she knew Rei was going for another submission hold and figured her flexible body would be better able to endure it, but Rei seemed to have learned her lesson and was applying quite a bit of pressure to the side of her knee instead, and legs just did not bend that way. Banging her back against the mat she punched the mat once in response to the pain, knowing any more could be mistaken for her tapping out but she had to express this somehow to better endure it. With her free leg Natasha would do her best to kick Rei right in her ribs repeatedly, doing her best to keep her foot out of Rei's other hand, all this while using her strength to drag them towards the ropes.

Rei grinned as she managed to lock in the submission but, not for very long. The girl was already wheezing and her eyes were still watery from all the attacks on her neck earlier. Rei tried to hold into the submission for as long as she could but, Rei was already out of breath and couldn't afford to take too much damage. "Ugh! Ngh... Fine I'll let go!" After taking two kicks to her ribcage, Rei bit her lip and would release Natasha from the knee bar and attempt to a backward roll to get away from the other girl before rising to her feet. She would rub her neck trying to massage her throat a little before getting back into a grappling stance. The girl would remind herself to try not to get caught in any more chokes, she wasn't exactly a fan of being in them. However, Rei knew it wouldn't do her much good, she wasn't exactly known for her uncanny defense. Rei's best defense was actually to attack rather to defend.

"I never saw a submission style like yous before..." Rei remarked with a smile, "You and I should hit the gym sometime, I'd love to be able to learn a few of your tricks..."

Natasha kicked with everything she had as she wanted to be in this incredibly dangerous hold for as little time as possible, for every second she was in it her knee was taking a beating. Wearing down Rei with that choke seemed to be saving her here as the woman yelled out conceding that she couldn't hold on, Natasha rolling backward herself the very moment her leg was freed. She laid there for just a moment to rub her knee, finding it not in that bad a shape thanks to how short a time she had been in that hold, but she knew now she was in a war of counters with Rei, and she was not about to lose that but neither would she let it be the entire match.

Pushing hard against the mat Natasha threw herself back up onto her feet, her knee hurting immediately but it wasn't anything she couldn't manage though she would have to avoid getting caught like that again. Natasha flashed Rei a warm smile as she raised her hands before her and turned her body sideways, keeping her eyes locked onto Rei in this basic martial arts stance, their difference in stances telling everything about their histories. "Thank you Rei, its impressive seeing you in action. If you like my moves that much I would be more than happy to show you a thing or two, amongst other things."

Rei eyed the other girl's stance examining it more closely, her experience the ring taught her this much. Fighters who turn so that their side is facing them are usually more often than not strikers, usually speedy ones too. With 50% less to strike it, the target obviously becomes half as hard to land a strike on. Rei's stance was different entirely, her style revolved around western wrestling techniques such as mat wrestling and Brazilian jujitsu. She found it amusing that despite her Japanese, and therefore Asian, ethnicity she was using Western styles like Mat Wrestling and Brazillian Jujitsu. On the other hand, Natasha being from Europe or European descent was using martial arts. Rei would circle her cautiously, keeping her base low and her eyes on her foe.

"Heh... sounds good..." Rei would say with a smile, "Maybe you can learn a little something from me too and have a better idea why you lost this match!"

Rei exclaimed the last word of her statement a she drove forward trying to grab one on to Natasha's at the thigh of one of her legs trying to lock it close to her body and keep her head down to set up for an attack.

As Rei circled around her Natasha would continuously pivot on her back feet so that she always presented her front to the skillful woman, her eyes on the lookout for any indicator of what her next move would be. From her stance it was likely going to be some sort of grab, some sort of hold from which she could move on to something more devastating, but Natasha wasn't going to give her that chance if she could help it. After all she had been trained in everything from martial arts, where her current stance originated from, to wrestling and even things like fencing, all benefits of growing up in a rich family.

To better match her wrestling stance Natasha bent her knees and lowered down to Rei's level, one hand staying up in front of her while the other moved off to the side as if she was about to reach out and grab Rei with it. "Heh, the only thing I will be learning is what not to do so I won't ever lose like you're about to!" Natasha chimed in returning the smile Rei flashed her way.

Seeing Rei lunging forward after one of her legs Natasha quickly took a step back to get out of the woman's reach, being able to step back like that something she picked up from fencing of all things. Planting the foot she moved backward Natasha lunged forward herself, her hands reaching out to grab Rei by her long hair, all so that she could yank her head down right into the knee she brought rising up.

Rei rushed in trying to grab the other girl's leg but, her foe was too skilled and far too quick to fall for her attack. The moment she began to back away Rei knew she was in for it, the cosplay fighter grunted as her hair was grabbed and not soon after Natasha's knee smashed into her face. "Ughhh!Rei was forced back onto her bottom as she buried her face into her hands before laying down on the mat. Rolling back and fourth on the mat, she cursed into her hands. Rei hissed, the girl wasn't good at defending in general but strikes were especially a weak point of hers. It was lucky, she was such a good punching bag and being able to take a few good blows.

Natasha quickly took a step back, Rei's hands missing her thigh just barely as she pulled her leg back just in time. With the woman off balance for what would likely be just a split second she knew she had to act fast, her hands shooting out to grab Rei by her hair before she brought her knee smashing into the woman's face. She hated having to resort to such a thing but she couldn't think of anything else that might keep Rei down for more than a second, she was easily one of the toughest people she had faced so far and was making Natasha reach deep into her bag of tricks in search of something that would work.

"Eh, sorry about that, you're too tough to hold back on Rei." Natasha let out as she watched Rei rolling around on the mat, knowing she couldn't give her time to recover and had to keep on the attack. Moving quickly Natasha would move to take hold of each of Rei's legs, looking to entwine them with her own before turning her over into a sharpshooter.
