“Oh, theyâ€ll be watching closely, not much gets past them,” she replied, carefully padding towards the centre of the ring.

The clang of the match bell signalled the official start to the contest.

Irezumi would advance on her opponent, hands outstretched, looking to grapple with Asami.

The freelance kunoichi, as Asami liked to think of herself, wasn't a power wrestler. So when Irezumi advanced with her arms out, she decided she didn't feel like playing that game yet.
When the other woman came within reach, Asami would try to take one of Irezumi's arms in both hands and turn, putting her back to the other ninja, before sharply bending forward, looking to toss her opponent to the mat with a classic over the shoulder throw.

Irezumi couldnâ€t stop herself being flipped by Asamiâ€s sharp shoulder throw, and she landed on the canvas with a jarring thud.

Asami was proving to be a slippery foe, having already run in the opposite direction. Irezumi only had a fraction of a section to think about what her opponent was doing, when the other ninja came at her in a cross body tackle.
