Reunion-Rematch: Haruka & Haruko (COMPLETE)

Haruka, in somewhat better shape right now, scrambled onto her feet to help Haruko stand. "I'm sorry... we haven't met in a while... and I thought I'd gotten better... but then I mess up like this..."

"Hey hey hey!" She said, walking towards her and placing a paw on her shoulder. "Why are you putting yourself down? It was just an honest mistake, Haruka."

Haruka brightened up. She really derived her strength from her friends' belief in her. "Yeah... yes, it was. I won't mess up again. Let's continue," she invited, her confidence renewed.

Haruko smiled a little and stepped away from her, moving into a grappling stance. "Good, because that's the last break you'll get from me." She said, trying to pep Haruka up into being more about the match.

"Haii!" Haruka agreed. She squared her shoulders and mimicked Haruko's stance. Then she paused. "Ah... Haruko-chan, I'm just curious... did you improve your striking skills, too?"

Haruko blinked for a second. "Striking? Well... I guess maybe a little." She nodded. "Why?"

Haruka nodded as if she had received illumination. "Okay..." She held out an open palm to Haruko. "Punch me here. I want to see how strong you can punch."

Haruko blinked a little when she put an open palm out and asked for her to punch her palm. "Are you sure, Haruka?" She asked.

"Haii!" Haruka affirmed. She held her hand like how she remembered Yatori's manager Damian-san held his when he trained her to box. She even brought up her other hand. "Show me what you can do, Haruko-chan!"

Haruko stared at her, then nodded. "All right." She said, drawing her arm back, and threw the fist at her palm as hard as she could.
