Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Maybe, I guess you say the same thing about just about any of his title reigns and most of the matches he was involved the start of, like the Inferno and buried alive stuff.
I guess Undertaker himself is just bigger than his career.
Still irritating though, thinking that future wrestling fans talking about it are gonna basically say "Undertaker was cool, he had a long Wrestlemania winning streak, until he lost to a part timer named Brock Lesnar, who then had a couple more matches over the course of a year, then went home."

Another reason to give it to Lesnar I guess is because he's not around 24/7, he doesn't get to trade losses back and forth forever and get the heat of killing the streak killed off. Taking the Ace/Adrian, it would be if Ace won at Avalanche then immediately lost to Kelly Conway, at least with the long break a Lesnar match is still a rare special attraction, that you can sell PPV buys/Network Subscriptions on. And that's what this is about, Taker's done win or lose because he's just too old. They need a new special attraction for the "OH SHIT HES HERE" moments even if they come around like clockwork.
He will probably get mentioned as a looming threat whenever Bryan runs out of heels to face (which might be sooner rather than later), and most likely face him at Summer Slam as Triple H's final attempt to get the belt off him (As Undertaker/Kane was for Austin/Vince)
Also, bonus details, network subscriptions were 667k, WM30 domestic buys are estimated 400k. Pushing potential viewership over 1 million in the United States alone, the biggest they've ever had.
(I know people outside the US have the Network too, but they have to use proxies so they still get recorded as domestic only)

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I don't think anyone is going to say that >.>
Brock's career has a life of its own already as well. it did BEFORE he came back. Anything he's doing now is icing on his legacy cake. HIS career is also already cemented.
You're acting like Brock is Roman Reigns or something. Like a guy like THAT beat UT and then stopped showing up for work except on PPVs. It's just not the case.

Alright Alright, I can admit once a year that I'm wrong, I'll use it now.
I'm wrong. Lesnar's a great decision.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
In other news, AJ has also left after dropping the belt to Paige last week. Not a Punk level "I'm leaving" 30 minutes before RAW but she's apparently taken an indefinite amount of time off

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Lesnar is a decision. And honestly I think the choice of Lesnar has almost zero to do with them WANTING Lesnar. It is what it is. I'm not saying it's good. I don't like it. I just don't think it's as destructive to UT's career as you seem to think it is.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Wow....that's what, the 4th marriage between WWE wrestlers and Divas now? That's kinda surprising. BetWeen that and Cena dating the other Bella, I can't think of another time where WWE had this much workplace romance going on between the talent.
Unless like, half them are bullshit marriages only done for the Diva's show, but that's kinda unlikely.
