I just don't see how the higher ups in WWE can honestly think that the BEST match for Wrestlemania 30 is a match that has been seen over and over and over and over again both on various PPV's and on free TV time and time again over the course of 10 years.

Also, expect a tweet from Batista soon, about how all those negative smarks in the arena that night can totally fuck off, because Ric Flair and Triple H respect him, and he deserves it cause he's a real A list star, and he worked oh so very hard to get this, by showing up a week ahead of time, doing nothing, getting a late number, doing more nothing, and then winning.

Gotta agree with Harrier though, it DID seem like a "Friends of HHH" moment. Also kinda odd that every match was won by Heels, which certainly would have helped piss the crowd off. I mean, the guy they CLEARLY want to see loses his match, doesn't show up in the Rumble, and then EVERY other match has a heel win? Then the guy they cheer for the most in the Rumble, who breaks the elimination record and is also CLEARLY VERY OVER with the crowd gets shafted by the guy who showed up to cash a check and insult everybody that doesn't kiss his ass?

No wonder they got pissed, there wasn't a single feel good moment in the entire night, and every time the crowd got into something, it got taken away from them, like they were bad dogs being told "NO! You like this instead!"

It's like HHH said to Vince "Hey, watch how pissed off we can make everybody tonight!"

I still say it's a giant work. :|

But really, the main reason that Batista is back and getting into the main 'mania match is simple. Marvel is going to start hyping the hell out of Guardians of the Galaxy soon, and the WWE wants Batista around and in a 'main character' position so that can get their hands on some of that sweet, sweet Disney money.
